âThe food was really tasty, portions just right, and the service fast and attentive. At the end I thought we had been undercharged but the guy serving explained there are different prices for the meals vs individual items. The location is a residential area with a community feel. Expect kids and locals stopping by. They are probably going to need more tables with all these 5* reviews, but well deserved đ many thanks.â

âI visited Dishoom with friends for a brunch for a friend's birthday. The food and service was excellent. All the staff were friendly, wished my friend Happy Birthday throughout our stay, and were extremely courteous. We all enjoyed the meal and the birthday treat we shared on Dishoom. Half eaten before, we even recommended taking a photo. đ I would highly recommend Dishoom Shoreditch to others. Thank you!!â

âA culinary masterpiece awaits at Da Terra ,a two-Michelin-starred gem that has redefined fine dining. From the moment you step into the elegant ambiance, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of sophistication and anticipation greeting by Giovanni. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff who seamlessly anticipate your every need. The sommelier, Maria, a true wine connoisseur, expertly pairs each course with the perfect libation, enhancing the flavors and elevating the dining experience to new heights. But the true star of the show is the food. Each dish is a work of art, meticulously crafted with the finest ingredients and presented with stunning visual appeal. The flavors are exquisite, a symphony of taste sensations that tantalize the palate. Chef Mark's innovative approach to cuisine, combined with his team's mastery of classic techniques, results in a truly unforgettable dining experience. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the meal. Each course is a surprise, a delightful journey through a world of culinary creativity. Da Terra is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. It's a place where you can indulge your senses, savor every moment, and create lasting memories. If you're seeking a truly extraordinary dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend . A special thanks to Giovanni, Maria, Chef Mark, " Matthew not Matthew :), Elliot, Ewan, Connor and the entire staff who made this incredible experience happen . Ps. THANKS for the Chiles . It was such a nice surprise, we have been enjoying them . And Maria it was great to have ran into you at the Chocolate shop. Best wishes, the Montes familyâ

Charista

âWhile exploring the vibrant streets of Shoreditch, I discovered a charming eatery that immediately caught my attention with its glowing reviews. Intrigued, I decided to sample a few of their offerings: the chicken katti roll (ÂŁ6.50), a flatbread generously stuffed with tender chicken, their signature charista chai, and the Fuchka (ÂŁ6.50), a house specialty of hollow puris filled with spiced mashed potato and chickpeas, topped with shredded egg and accompanied by tangy tamarind water. From the moment I stepped inside, the decor set the tone for a memorable experience. The space is thoughtfully adorned with chai-inspired posters and poems, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. But it was the food that truly stole the show. The chai was a standoutâperfectly spiced, with just the right hint of cardamom, easily one of the best Iâve had. The chicken katti roll was equally impressive, a delightful balance of flavors that left me eager for more. While the Fuchka didnât quite meet my expectationsâperhaps more a matter of personal tasteâit was a hit with my dining companion, proving its popularity among regulars. Would I return? Without a doubt. The chai and katti roll are exceptional, and this place is one Iâll happily revisit. A hidden gem in Shoreditch, offering some of the best comfort food Iâve experienced in the area.â

âSensational meal. The creativeness behind how they use all parts of their ingredients is exceptional. Plus the fact they do an excellent non alcoholic pairing to the meals and itâs actually something theyâve put effort into is fantastic. Highly recommend and will be back once the menu changes over.â

âThis morning, a friend and I visited the Fatto a Mano pizzeria in Bethnal Green, London. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who made the environment welcoming and friendly. The pizza was outstanding, with a fluffy base and fresh ingredients that brought out the authentic flavors of the Neapolitan tradition. The atmosphere of the restaurant, located in the railroad arches of Paradise Row, added a unique touch to the dining experience. âProbably the best Nigerian food in London. I have been to a lot of well known Nigerian restaurant chains around London. We ordered Bitter Leaf Soup with Mixed Meat + Pounded Yam, and Native Soup with Dried Fish, Snail + Pounded Yam. They were flavoursome, the mixed meat was cooked just right and not tough and chewy like a lot of places around London.â

Restaurant Elis

Phone: 020 7871 0460
âUnderrated hidden gem in a Bethnal Green hotel. I went there with my husband on 12 June to celebrate Brazilian Valentineâs Day. Weâve already been to Da Terra, the two Michelin-starred restaurant downstairs, owned by the same chef. Elis is a casual approach to Da Terraâs fine dining, but with the same high quality standards. It seems the menu changes regularly, but go for the monkfish if you can. It was definitely the tenderest monkfish Iâve ever had. The fried cassavas were a highlight as well. I often think restaurants, including those in Brazil itself, donât make good cassava. In my opinion, it has to be crispiest as possible on the outside while the inside just melts in your mouth. Elis got it right! Finally, prices were okay. I personally found it fair priced for the quality of ingredients, cooking and service we got. Plus: itâs a beautiful restaurant located in a incredible building. I will definitely be back!â
