“The Sunday roast was good but not the best I’ve had in London. Don’t get me wrong the porchetta was delicious with amazing crackling. However the cauliflower cheese was not very cheesy it was more just cauliflower, not worth the hefty £7 price tag. After a roast dinner Im often feeling lethargic and unable to move yet I had more than enough room for desert. It was probably the two small potatoes they served or maybe the richness of the area that makes the yummy mummy’s only strain themselves to two tiny potato’s. My sister in law shared a bottle of picpoul with me which was delicious, followed by their (almost) deconstructed sticky toffee pudding which dazzled the taste buds too. If you want to try a roast dinner for the first time with out the overwhelming portions then this is your place, you’ll leave feeling satisfied with good meat and delicious wine!”

“We came here for a birthday and it was so special - we loved our evening! We had the boar ragu, swordfish, aubergine parmigiana, spinach and tiramisu, and they were all exceptional. The service was lovely and the vibe was so nice and summery. We're already planning our evening back. Thank you!”

“Hip Highgate pub which has regular theatre events upstairs. The pub itself is very nice with a beer garden for sitting outside (weather permitting). It also has a good range of beers and though we didn't eat there, it has a good reputation for high quality food. We went to the theatre upstairs to see a band called the Jive Aces (highly recommended). The theatre is small and probably holds about 100 people but it gives it a good buzzy feel. I enjoyed the evening (and the pub) enormously!”

“Stumbled upon The Flask in Highgate, London, and couldn’t resist stopping in for their Sunday roast! 🥂 This cosy little pub might be smaller than others nearby, but it has a charming garden that’s perfect for sunny days. 🌞 The staff were absolutely lovely—super sweet and attentive. I was seated quickly, and my drinks and food arrived in no time. I went for the lamb, and wow, the portion was generous! The lamb was perfectly cooked, falling off the bone with ease. The Yorkshire pudding was spot on, and the sides—roasted potatoes, veggies, cauliflower cheese, peas & greens—were all delicious. If I had to nitpick, the gravy was a tad light for my taste, but that’s just a personal preference. Overall, it was a delightful experience!”
