A Hidden Gem for Authentic Burmese Cuisine While visiting London from Toronto, we were in the mood for Burmese food and discovered a lovely spot called Arponnar. It’s a cozy, warm, and welcoming restaurant with a great vibe. We ordered few items which included the fish, prawns, a couple of mutton curries, and some desserts, and were blown away by how authentic the flavors were. It was such a treat to find a restaurant offering true Burmese cuisine in London, and we can’t wait to return to try more dishes from the menu. I truly hope they expand and open more locations across England!

The food was very nice, the arabic shawarma was juicy and well seasoned. Although the service wasn’t great, the people were nice but to be honest when you enter the premise you don’t really know what you have to do as no one is greeting you, so we stood there not sure if we had to grab a table by ourselves or order at the till. But I would come back.

This place is pretty rough settings... but don't let that distract you from the fact that the chicken shawarma from here is incredible! Ma shaa Allah I used to go to yasmeen sham and I loved that place more so from a price perspective and is very clean inside But yasmeen sham did me dirty and sold me a shawarma that stunk like sick (rotten) and I was a regular customer I tried this place here today and I'm delighted with the food Flavour and portion was a 10/10 Edited - shop has been renovated to a good level Tried the roasted chicken and it's incredible wallahi Well done amneh

The restaurant is partially ok for wheelchair accessibility, there is a ramp between the inner part and the outer part but a slight step between outer area and pavement. The restaurant appears clean and tidy. The restaurant serves a selection including manakish, Arabic Shawarma, lamb cutlets, chicken shish, falafel dishes. The prices are reasonable, around £2 for manakish, £7.50 for Arabic Shawarma, £4 for falafel sandwich. The portions are good, the food is delicious, the salad colourful and mixed with variety of items, chips are nice, Shawarma comes with eight pieces of chicken surrounded by thin bread, other little breads with sauce, chips and salad. It looks elegant. As you go into the outer area of the restaurant, on your left is a cabinet with chicken rolling around on spits. Inside the counter is on the right, tables on the left, about 5 tables for four people, and beyond is an area used for storage and toilets. They take credit cards. The service is helpful and quick, the atmosphere is fine, lots of people coming and enjoying their food. The toilets are ok but lack toilet paper and lack proper lotas. Room for improvement there. Overall a good experience.

The broasted chicken was crispy and juicy. The shawarma platter was delicious, the meats well flavoured and the sauces given generously. The chicken on spit was succulent. This is the best syrian broasted food in London - better than others in the area. Food is very high quality and the service is always very polite.

I rarely leave reviews but the food here was so good it would criminal not to tell everyone about it! I ordered prawn summer rolls and the beef brisket pho - both of which were an absolute delight. You can tell the chef here puts so much love into every element of the dishes. The beef brisket is made in house and is bursting with flavoursome spices and the pho broth is so rich and meaty, I’ve honestly never had anything like it. Best thing is - it’s fully halal! There are also loads of veggie options too. The portion sizes are great so it’s proper value for money. I will absolutely be back here!

This place is brilliant. To start, great staff, the guy who runs it is super friendly and helpful. The food was insanely good, this really is a little gem in this area and a must visit. We got the aubergine tofu banh mi and the okra plantain. Both were flavorful and prepared beautifully. Plus generous portions. We will be coming back to try other things on the menu and have already recommended it to friends.

Easily one of my best meals in London, and I am Asian who’ travelled to Vietnam frequently and extensively. Chef brings a certain French flair to the food, while staying true to authentic Vietnamese flavors. Highly recommend, I will keep going back. I recently had the pleasure of enjoying the open buffet breakfast on a Saturday, and it was absolutely incredible! For only £10, the selection and quality of the food were outstanding. The service when I went to B lounge was outstanding and very welcoming. All the staff here will assist you in any questions you have about the menu or any inquiries. When the food arrived it looked amazing and tasted even better. The menu had a variety of choices to choose from, also the restaurant has a very calming sound system in the background creating a relaxing mood. Genuinely one of the best foods I’ve tasted in a while. I walked past this place thinking nothing of it and thought I’d try it out, I had the chicken biryani and the lamb one… Incredible. I’ve never had Arabic biryani before but it was unreal it was so good i have zero complaints, the guy even gave me some free sweets which were so good and delicious. You can tell that everything is fresh and that they use high quality ingredients. My only complain is that it was an hour away from where I live but still incredible.

The best food I’ve eaten in a very long time, everything was cooked fresh and served hot. Really good portion sizes and the prices are very reasonable. I had cocktails too and the presentation was really good and tasted amazing. The atmosphere is really good and the restaurant itself looks really new, the decor is really nice and everywhere was spotless. All the staff were really helpful,l and happy, amazing customer service.

Excellent lunch! Had coffee here before but this was our first lunch and it was excellent. Great prices but more importantly, delicious. My kid loved the flames leaping from the grill as they cook (and also the Lotus pancakes!) Decor is whimsical and fun. Plenty of space. Kid friendly. Highly recommend this place.

We came here as a large group of 10 for my mother’s birthday and everything was amazing. It was a beautiful, clean and well lit, a nice place to spend an evening. We ordered a couple platters and other sides and everything was really tasty. The service was above and beyond as we had a 2 year old and the staff were really accommodating. The staff were quick to respond to any requests we had and ensured to check on us frequently. The food did take a little long to come but this was worth waiting for as it was delicious and everything was perfectly cooked. Special note to the owner and her son who were super friendly and welcoming.

Came here for my friends birthday yesterday. The food was absolutely delicious, highly recommend the kofte and lamb chops, they were cooked to perfection! Staff were super lovely and gave us complimentary shots that tasted lovely! The cocktails were amazing, I would recommend the Mai Tai! I feel it was all decent prices for the drinks and the food! 4 stars just because we couldn’t get a seat in the really lovely scenic part of the restaurant but other than that, was amazing! Would definitely come here again!

I have been to this restaurant 4-5 times and the service never fails, the staff are very polite and cater to the customers needs which is perfect. The food is amazing. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and I highly recommend the cocktails as they’re 2 for 1 11am-5pm Sun-Thurs Shout out to Aydin for incredible service today.

Had a small wake there today and the food was outstanding home cooked food of a very high standard. The Guinness was the best I’ve tasted in Willesden and what a lovely lady Jenny was catering to Our needs. It’s was the perfect venue. Will definitely be my 1st choice in the future. It is the friendliest place ever, with amazing Staff, fabulous live Irish music from fantastic bands, and such a friendly community! I cannot wait to return! Nice service with great atmosphere and I really enjoyed it. Plenty of spaces even though there were many people at the bar. Two clean toilets. There is a small outdoor area for smoking with a small TV too. I found its super cool that they cold down beer glasses in the fridge. 4.7 pounds for a pint of Stella....its a bargain.
