What a delightful find just 10 minutes walk from our hotel on Havistock Hill. A beautiful Lebanese restaurant serving delicious fresh salads. Perfect for a quick light lunch. Clearly hugely popular too. We got in just before it got busy. After that, only people who had booked got a table. Friendly service and good value.

Absolutely delicious food, amazing service and a beautiful location. Portion sizes were so big I’m taking home the leftovers. Very reasonably priced for such quality and abundant dishes especially in Hampstead. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Will definitely return soon.

We took a friend here this evening. This is the first time I am writing a review for a restaurant because the service was incredibly hospitable. The server noticed our two little kids weren’t eating as they’d had dinner at home- they brought out treats for them totally unsolicited which we thought was a very special and rare gesture. The food was excellent- I am not a massive fan of Lebanese food but the quality of cooking was exceptional. The cooking of the chicken in particular was a triumph. We are so glad this great little place has opened in our neighborhood and will be going on many more occasions

Small, quiet Lebanese family restaurant. Delicious simple food representative of what you’d get in Beirut (from my visit there over a decade ago). Had dinner with my mum and we both loved it. Better than the franchises nearby in Hampstead!!! Amazing homemade lemonade — and the Lebanese house wines were lovely.

Best indian food i had ever test in my life. Everything was perfect, the decoloration, the vibes and staff. I had my birthday and i was treated with a nice desert and a candle celebrate together. Definitely will come back.

So Indian food can be a bit different across the Atlantic. I love the concept of Indian food as tapas because my friends can try different Indian dishes in one sitting. The quality of the food was amazing. The staff was attentive and courteous. The drinks, my god, generous pours and will make you salivate. Give this place a visit and if you're American, have your taste buds blown away.

We ate so fast. The food is so so so so so damn good. Super flavourful, good portion sizes. Plates were all *demolished*. Hard to pick a favourite dish, just the whole menu is chef's kiss. The cocktails are also fantastic. We had an amazing experience here.

I really wanted to love this place. Both dishes that I ordered were from the Specials, which was probably my mistake. Not sure if you know but the specials in restaurants consist of stuff they're trying to get rid of marketed as 'Specials'. That's a general rule of thumb. Anyway, both dishes that I fancied were from there. I got the deep fried brie. I had to dig out the cheese because the breading was quite bland and pointless. I would have loved it to be crispy and tasty but alas it wasn't. My main was a Beef Bourguignon, which was infuriating because the flavours were there but the beef was chewy instead of melting in the mouth. I really wish that I hadn't gone for two dishes from the Specials but hey that was my experience. The staff was lovely and the vibe was as if you are in a French bistro, so that was nice.

Incredibly lovely place, with great food, super friendly staff, all clean and professional and a great atmosphere! Perfect for a quiet dinner! We had the soup of the day, king prawns and salmon mousse as starters, oven baked salmon with ratatouille for main course and crepes for dessert. Everything was excellent! Compliments to the chef!

Hubby and I decided to get dinner here as the ratings were super high. We were definitely not disappointed. Upon entering the restaurant, we were instantly greeted and seated by the waiter. His timing is impeccable. He seated us, handed us the menu, and gave us some time to look at the menu. He grabbed our drink order, and our drinks were served within 10 minutes. After that, he took our order, brought us bread, and the timing between the appetizer, mains, and dessert was perfect. The atmosphere of the restaurant was intimate and homey. The food was amazing and on point. Not to mention, the price relative to the quality of the food was very good. We ordered the seafood soup to share, the bake salmon, the duck breast, and we shared the apple and plum dessert. The seafood soup was a large enough portion to share between the two of us, and there were ample amounts of seafood (salmon, mussels, shrimps) that were perfectly cooked and super tender. The bake salmon was perfectly cooked, super tender, and not overdone at all. The duck breast was a perfect medium rare, as I had requested. Both hubby and I were very happy with our meal. And, after ordering two glasses of wine, an appetizer to share, two mains, a side of creamy potatoes, a dessert to share, and a dessert wine, our bill amounted to 80 pounds. We've definitely paid more at other places and we're not as satisfied and happy with our meals Overall, the service was excellent, the food was excellent, and I'd definitely recommend trying this place out. In fact, hubby and I will be back to try more things on this menu. I think we've finally found our neighborhood gem. We definitely say this is among the top restaurant meals we've had in London!

Loved the ambience of this restaurant - cozy lighting, nice playlist, friendly service. Loved my lemongrass and ginger tea. Masala chai comes from a packet but taste okay. Masaman curry was really good. Basil rice was a bit too greasy to my preference but it was tasty so I finished it anyway ☺️ decent price too. Would come back for other dishes.

Small and cosy restaurant, very vibrant. Food was great and had attentive service. Rafi took care of us throughout the night and was friendly and helpful. Had starters to share, main and some wine and all of that for just above £30. Good value for quality. Would come back :)

Really nice restaurant, food was delicious - although not authentic, it's a great mix of dishes - slightly westernised but very tasty. Drinks and poppadoms were overpriced at over £8 a pint and £4 respectively, but otherwise would've been 5 stars. Place and service lovely I'll definitely be going back. We had green curry, kakung chicken stay, beef garlic stir fry and papaya salad - with a couple of starters. All very good

Generous portions of decent Asian food - the vegetable steamed gyoza was the highlight. I ordered the chicken laksa which was had a great flavour (but wish the vegetables were cooked...but maybe that's not authentic?). The Sticky Toffee Pudding was a sadly underwhelming, but again a generous portion. Rafi was a great waiter, very welcoming & attentive!

Great atmosphere and a lovely place for a dinner. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and their service was awesome. We were welcomed by Chris who made sure we enjoyed our evening there, stopped by multiple times to check if we needed anything, took lovely pictures of us and made sure we made the most of our night there. Food was tasteful and we did not have to wait long for it. Would definitely visit again!

Great atmosphere for a dinner with friends and very nice and original Mediterranean food. The place is a hidden sweet spot in Swiss Cottage. The food was perfect, every dish we have tried was packed with flavors and made of fresh ingredients. The service was outstanding, we were served by Chris who was making sure we are well looked after. The place got busy late in the evening, so make sure you reserve a table on the weekend to secure this great experience.

We had a few pastas for main(pumpkin, roasted beef, truffle) they all blew my mind so tasty! Highly recommend we will definitely go back with Italian friends

Had an amazing and unexpected lunch in this little hidden gem in Belside Park Sunday. Trying to take shelter from the rain, i went in and was greeted by Chris, shown to my table and ordered a tea. He was very polite and professional and walked me through the menu and options and i went with the oven baked provola as a starter and the truffle tagliatelle as a main. Amazing food, 5/5 stars. And the service was impecable. Will return for sure.

A delightful fine dining experience in Hampstead! I went with friends, and we ordered nearly everything on the menu. As you can see from the pictures, every dish looked incredible, and they all tasted just as good. The 28-Day Aged Ribeye Steak was delicious, but I actually preferred the Presa Ibérica—it was even better. The octopus carpaccio was decent, though the flavor wasn’t particularly memorable. Overall, everything was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Definitely a five-star experience!

This was such an incredible experience. The food was absolutely out of this world. The complexity and depth of flavour has really opened my eyes. The wine was fantastic and the service we received from the staff was second to none. It is pricey! But it is so worth it. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Went here on a Sunday with some friends for dinner and some wine. The food was amazing and we managed to try most things on the menu.

Was very fortunate to get a lunch reservation at the end of service on a Saturday. Our table was tucked away which made for a private dining feel for our group. Presentation and service were great highlights. Some dishes were less impressive in flavour than they looked. However, I would really recommend the Presa Iberica, which was the star of the meal in my opinion.

Iconic pub, hidden away but worth the visit. Staff very friendly. Great food and great selection of ales Don’t forget to take the picture with the billet holes outside (there’s a story behind this pub)

The food here was good, not great for me personally, but a good feast. We had the Sunday roast options with 3 meats (Pork, Chicken and Beef). We also ordered another Sunday roast with lamb. The 3 meat dish was a feast, meats were all well prepared. The lamb on the other hand was a bit undercooked, which made it chewy. If I had to do it again I would just order the pork, it was fabulous.

Went here in Fall 2023 visiting from Toronto, Canada. Place was quiet as we were there for a late lunch. Beautiful light through the windows, comfy cozy seating and atmosphere. The mushroom and spinach soup of the day was phenomenal! I need your recipe PLEASE!

BEST ROAST IN TOWN! My boyfriend and I have already been twice and we’re recommending it to everyone and taking our friends there next weekend. Last time we got the sharing Roast and it was just amazing! Very well priced too! The staff is polite and efficient and the place is just so lovely.

I had the most amazing lunch experience at Banana Tree, and it was all thanks to the lovely waitress, Melissa. From the moment we arrived, her warm and friendly personality set the tone for a fantastic meal. Melissa was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. She patiently walked us through the menu, recommended some fantastic dishes, and ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit. Her cheerful attitude and genuine care turned what could’ve been an ordinary lunch into something truly special. The food was absolutely delicious, but Melissa’s exceptional service was the cherry on top. I’ll definitely be back soon, and I hope to see her again! Wanted some good comfort food on a particularly cold day, the staff recommended the Laksa and I’m usually not one for the likes of it. But I’m so glad I went with the Laksa as it was AMAZING! Hands down the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant was super cosy and the staff really made sure we were well looked after. Also almost every second thing on the menu was super enticing so I can’t wait to go back for more!

The BEST NOODLES IVE EVER HAD OMG. I had their special noodle. We came here as a group of friends, everyone enjoyed their food. It was perfect!!!! Kainat was also amazing, very friendly and amazing service from her. Food 10/10, staff also very lovely and polite. Would definitely recommend this place!!

We had an amazing lunch at the Banana Tree! The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes that left us more than satisfied. I especially loved the green papaya salad—so fresh and flavorful—and the pad thai was perfectly cooked with just the right balance of sweet and savory. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. The drinks were also a highlight, especially with their 2-for-1 cocktail offer, which was a fantastic deal. We’ll definitely be returning to Banana Tree to explore more of their Pan-Asian menu.

One of the best meals my family has ever had in London!!! We came for my sisters 21st tonight and it was that great that I had to review it the second I got home! We ordered every single dish on the menu and it was all incredible - genuinely not one thing we didn’t like. It’s hard to pick a favourite but the steak, millionaire potatoes, Korean cauliflower bites, schnitzel were divine!!! We are a big family and everything came out in good time, hot and with amazing service - the service absolutely made the night, our waiter and the owner were so lovely!!! We have been to a lot of restaurants in London including high end and this has been one of our absolute favourites - at a far more affordable price than central London. We will be returning! Thank you!!! Sorry no pictures because we are everything so quickly!

The wonderful & kind staff stole the show! Went there on a surprisingly quiet Friday evening and I will surely be going back. The food was really delicious with the burrata being the stand out dish for me! We also got the gambas and octopus dish, both of which were really yummy too. But I do have to say a special thank you the the brilliant staff who truly made our night with their hospitality!

Service was good. We had the special 3 course traditional Christmas lunch with main being turkey, pigs in blankets, leg ham, yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, brussels sprouts, carrots and parsnips. It was a huge meal. Would have preferred to pay less and have less of the main meal as we had to take half of each main meal home in a takeaway box, but it shows how generous the servings were. Also highly recommend ordering a lemon, lime and bitters drink. 🥤

Lovely hidden pub round the corner from the underground. Very oldie and atmospheric. Service was ok wouldn't say very attentive as we had to get our own menus for desert but the food was delicious! Fish and chips with a side of tarta sause and curry sause made it. My partner had the burger and was also divine. The toilets desperately need more attention as they were pretty grim but all in all was a nice evening.
