My husband treated me to my birthday meal at pera. Our first time trying out this Turkish restaurant. Was beautiful the moment I stepped in. Amazing decor. The starters were delicious! I had the lamb Beyti which was absolutely juicy and delicious! Very attentive, friendly waiter & waitress. A great place to dine out. Would definitely be returning for more. Thank you for a lovely time 🙏🏼

This is my first time visiting Pera in Beckenham. My friends have been coming here regularly and always told me how good the food and service are. The atmosphere inside was truly amazing. The decoration of the place is beautiful and harmonious. The restrooms are very clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The cocktails and food are delicious. I will definitely come again. We reserved a table here for 12 people and had a FANTASTIC experience. The staff are lovely are made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is lovely and upbeat with beautiful decor. The food is amazing!! I would definitely recommend the mix grill. The bulgar is very moist and well seasoned. Our family were gathered to celebrate our baby’s dedication and we are so happy we picked PERA as the place to eat after. Everyone commented on how amazing the food was. My husband and I really enjoyed dinner at this restaurant! The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing, and the staff were really professional and friendly. I loved that the portions weren’t huge, so I could finish a starter and a main)) This is one of the few places in Beckenham where I would like to go back. Highly recommended!

Just wanted to give a massive thank you to the Bella Roma team for looking after us and making us feel so welcome last Thursday for my mum’s birthday. We eat out quite a fair bit, and am glad to say that this was one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long, long time. Service and food were absolutely impeccable, and we both can’t wait to return.

The first time i came to bella roma i was stunned, the atmosphere was lovely. The food was outstanding, by far the best italian restaurant in Beckenham. I recommend the fish, so fresh. Will definitely be coming more. The service is 10 out of 10. My expectations did not disappoint. Thank you Leo for making us feel welcome.

This is an amazing place if you like authentic Turkish food in a premium venue with excellent service. Met an old friend for a late lunch, and the experience was amazing. The food was first class and prices were reasonable.

Had our weekly dinner date here with my wife on a Tuesday evening. From the moment we stepped in the place, we were very warmly welcomed by the host and shown to a free table. We asked for the tap water first whilst we had a browse in the menu. We ended up going for the Hisar Set Menu: 6 mezzes (starters) with a main dish for each person. The mezzes came first in 6 different small trays. We also had a basket of hot flatbread to share. The hummus was very smooth and aromatic, which, we both liked. For mains, my wife went for the meat moussaka, whereas I went for the mixed grill. The moussaka was ok, not the best. The meats on the mixed grill were tasty and well seasoned. Overall it was a nice eating experience in a tranquil atmosphere.

We were well treated by a very attentive service team, the food was of Great quality and both left fully fed. Great value for money.

I took my son here for his birthday. He chose the restaurant as he had been once before. I booked my reservation online, and it was quite straightforward. I received a text whilst it was being reviewed, then another text once it had been approved. They even sent a reminder text the day before I was due to attend. So I definitely rate their service. The food was absolutely lovely and very tasty. My son had a calamari starter, and I had a king prawn starter. We had a mixed grill shish with white rice and salad. It was well worth every penny I spent. We had quite a few drinks as well. This restaurant does include a service charge, but I was happy to pay it as their customer service is excellent. I would definitely use this restaurant again. 5 star.

I visited Tapeo last night for a friend's birthday. By far, the best tapas restaurant in the whole of South London. Good portions, quick service and fair prices. 10/10 👌👍💕

I like this tapas bar and the staff were amazing. Me and a colleague came to talk business over dinner. The restaurant was very busy and the food came quickly. I personally think there are too many tables and all to close together. Some of the dishes were amazing such as the prawns. The steak was cold although cooked to perfection. The onions served with the scallops are definitely my favourite part however the scallops could have been cooked a bit longer. I really like this restaurant and its staff and the drinks were 10/10 however I don’t think I would return. That is my personal preference and others may disagree.

Oh my goodness!!! I literally felt like I was abroad not sitting in a restaurant on Beckenham High St, the staff were friendly, respectful & attentive. The drinks 10/10 the lychee martini the best I’ve had with elegance & class it was served with prettyness. Now the food, we all love med grill but this place had our jaws dropping with every course that was served, the starters were delicious, the mains were also delicious with great flavours, generous portion & topped with the best presentation. Thank you so much to the chef and all the staff that waited on us and made us feel relaxed and comfortable even though we were still there way past closing time. Definitely going back x

Let's start with the food. Amazing food. The portions are generous and the quality is great. It's well presented and flavoursome. There were so many items i wanted to order! The service is efficient and pleasant, i can't say anything bad about it. The atmosphere of the place is also refreshing. It feels like you're on holidays and you're all relaxed to enjoy the food and drinks even more! 10/10 would god there again!

Delicious food at The Lokanta in Beckenham. Amazing options for vegetarians and vegans and also plenty of gluten free options. The portion sizes were fantastic and the service was just wonderful. The team were attentive, friendly and went the extra mile. Great knowledge of the menu too. The ambience is lovely and you feel instantly transported to the med with lovely decor and I loved the background music too. My friends and I will certainly be back! Nice place and well decorated. The place is also restful, it is not noisy. The food is excellent and fast service. There is plenty of choice for vegetarians. The staff is also friendly. We will definitely come back

This place never disappoints! Whatever I've tasted so far was perfect, and their cappuccino with coconut milk is particularly lovely. The atmosphere of the restaurant adds a lot to the experience, let alone the service. If in Beckenham, you must give them a try!

Birol was very attentive from the moment we was seated. He gave us excellent service and delivered the food fresh and in a orderly time. The starters were fresh and tasty. The mains came out piping hot and the food was reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back here!

Popped in for lunch and it was really lovely. Both the food and service were spot on. I had the chicken and bacon salad. One of the best salads I’ve ever had Would highly recommend and will definitely be back

We visited Papilio on a sunny day for a quick lunch and decided to stay outside. The food was delicious, service prompt, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. They had some lunch deals as well, offering good value for money. I had a brief look around during my trip to the restroom, and the interior decor is beautiful. The only downside was the dessert—the cheesecake looked and tasted store-bought. It appeared too perfect and tasted a bit bland. Nevertheless, we will definitely be back to experience dining indoors. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻

I visited this establishment that I’ve been wanting to try out for quite some time. They were the only restaurant I could find in Beckenham that sold a Tomahawk steak so I had a business lunch there with my colleague and we had Mac and cheese for starters and salt and pepper squid. Both of these were perfectly cooked very fresh and hot with excellent flavours and super presentation particularly for the squid. We treated ourselves to the 700 g Black Angus Tomahawk steak requesting a medium rare and it did not disappoint. It was cooked on the charcoal grill giving it immense flavour but was also seasoned perfectly and cooked Exactly as it should’ve been. Accompaniment of French fries which were clearly produced from fresh potatoes slightly seasoned giving an excellent experience. We had a brandy peppercorn sauce and a pecorino mushroom sauce. These were both very good. It feels like a five star experience and will definitely not disappoint. Entire bill, including service charge plus one Diet Coke and a large bottle of sparkling San Pellegrino came to just over £99 Which for the quality received was good value. There are less expensive lunchtime and dinner set menus with a two course lunch at £18.95 and a three course lunch at £23.95. The manager was helpful and friendly and both the waitresses were very attentive and professional while being friendly at the same time . I highly recommend this establishment if you want good quality fresh tasty food in a comfortable in atmospheric environment. What a beautiful restaurant! The ambiance at Agora is simply stunning, and the food was absolutely amazing—every dish was bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to Luigi, who was the best waiter we could have asked for. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly elevated our experience. Excellent New Year’s Eve lunch with the family. Amazing food at reasonable prices - calamari, aubergine, ravioli, prawn linguine and banoffee. Kids menu was also great value. Very friendly and attentive staff. Glad we asked to sit in the main area instead of the front outdoor bit as atmosphere was much nicer than sitting alone!

Had a meal here recently to celebrate a birthday with friends and had a pleasant experience. Elegant interiors and friendly staff greeted us and we were led to our table. It was a bit busy but we didn't feel rushed or that the place was bursting. Good wine, delicious hot chocolate and since it was a Sunday afternoon, we decided to get the seafood starter lamb and seafood roast. The food was delicious and elegantly plated and looked like art. The courgette fries were a bit disappointing though as they were soggy and the coating had all vanished so it felt like we were having raw courgette slices. That tiny blip aside, the afternoon went perfect and the cheesecake at the end made it even more memorable.

Was searching locally for a lunch venue with Tapas tbh. Local restaurant we’d gone to weren’t serving lunch on this day, Lugana was on my list , despite non tapas … well …. First time there and seriously loved it .. we both went for set menu starter and main … £19.95 ph. We both went for fish starter and corn fed chicken main … omg portions superb. Absolutely lush. Service, price 10/10 … doggy bag for us both as were ni-on full after starter lol … will be back ! Thank you soo much Lugana staff /Management … HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🥰

This is a a remarkable restaurant. We've been coming here for almost 4 years. And it's our local 'go to'. The food is terrific, the service fabulous and the atmosphere (especially in the evenings) is lively without being noisy. There's a lovely hubbub of conversation, laughter and interaction. The selection of food and wines is too drawer. I've never had a bad meal. I've also never had a cheap night out here! But that's got more to do with my inability to restrain myself from selecting just a couple more options!! It gets busy and you may struggle to get a table at the last minute on a Friday or Saturday. So plan ahead. And book in advance. It's popular. And there's a reason for that!

Celebrating a friend's birthday we had the best evening. You can always rely on the busy atmosphere, great food, service and really good wine selection and cocktails. It never disappoints!

The only disadvantage is that the toilet is downstairs and there is no lift as it is and old buildings. However, it is a very lovely place to have the most delicious Spanish food. The paella was espectacular.😋😋😋😋
