As I've seen the hot honey option being advertised in Popeyes, I thought I'd pop in and try it. Upon entering the restaurant, they have a spacious kiosk area to avoid overcrowding the seating area. I was greeted by Arti before I ordered at the kiosk. The ordering and collection process was simple. I made a mistake whilst ordering, and the lady preparing my order was kind enough to ask me to confirm what I'd wanted. Arti was very well presented, polite, professional, and courteous. Whilst enjoying my food, I witnessed her clearing tables after customers had finished eating and asked them how their experience was. I also noted a number of occasions where she opened the door for customers with buggies, shopping, and those less able bodied. The hot honey option is delicious, and I highly recommend it. The sweet and spicy condiment really lifts the flavour of the breaded chicken fillet.

I recently visited Popeyes UK, and I have to say, it exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious – the chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, exactly what you’d hope for. The Cajun fries were seasoned to perfection, and the biscuit was a great addition – soft, buttery, and a real treat. The service was fast and friendly, with the staff ensuring everything was fresh and served with care. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. It’s clear Popeyes has brought its signature Louisiana flavours to the UK in style. I’ll definitely be coming back soon. If you’re looking for proper fried chicken with amazing flavour, this is the place to go! Highly recommend it.

I went to try Popeyes, and here’s what I found: The Good: • It’s HALAL. • The chicken is incredibly soft and crispy. • The dips are full of flavor. The Not-So-Good: • It was too busy, and I had to wait to get a table. • The drinks tasted like unflavored water. Will I try it again? YES. I think today was just an off day because it was so busy, but the food was truly amazing. This version organizes your thoughts clearly and keeps the focus on your experience.

Went here on Saturday afternoon, they were busy during that time and they have a big reservation. But their staff was super nice to accommodate the 3 of us as they have a spare single table. Thank goodness as we came all the way from SE London we didn’t know that it is best to reserve. Later on they transferred us to a bigger table so that we wont be all cramped with all our order. There staff were very sensitive about that which we really appreciate. And they made sure that our foods doesn’t contain Crab or Lobster as my daughter is allergic with it. We ordered Chicken Isaw (I loved this the most) Tokwat Baboy Pancit with lechon kawali Sinigang na baboy Sisig Turon All of them tasted amazing and will definitely go back to try the others.

First time trying Filipino food and it’s well worth a try. Definitely a hidden gem in Romford, they offer some authentic Filipino cuisines. Their chicken nachos is a must order, absolutely delicious! Only negative points I have to say is customer service, as waiter wasn’t sure on how to explain certain dishes to us. Customer toilet was out of order and not in usable condition as there was some sort of water leak. Other than that this place is a family run authentic Filipino restaurant which is definitely worth a try.

Food was standard, my friends found them tasty, isaw, Kawali Silog, humba Silog, pinakbet. Unfortunately, the garlic honey chicken wasn't as tasty as I'd like. They were very generous with honey and I could hardly taste the garlic. The spring rolls could be so much better, there was some weird sour taste to it Halo halo was ok. Service was slow! And service staff didn't know what was a available in the kitchen and we had to change our order twice. It was tricky to find the place and we had to contact the restaurant for guidance.

Tilaw serves filipino dishes. Food is worth for its price. We went for lunch buffet and the dishes in the menu were exciting. My favorite was bistek tagalog. However, I noticed the trays should be refilled every now and then. I was sad that calamansi juice was not available but there were other options to try + red horse beer is available in the house😉

Fantastic food, never tasted Filipino food before, it was both interesting and tasty. Definitely will be back to try some fish and other items from the menu.

Really great place to try some authentic Filipino food. Thanks so much to Ate Edna for the warm welcome and helping me practice my native language, Kapangpangan 😊 was also lovely to meet her family. The food was great we ordered combo 2 which had sinigang, sisig, pinakbet, caldereta plus rice and jug of gulaman. The sisig, sinigang and pinakbet were amazing but the caldereta was too cheesy for our liking, we prefer it to have a deeper meat flavour and a bit spicy. But all in all we enjoyed our meal and have enough to take home. Will come back again for sure. See you soon po!

Oh my goodness! I just had the most incredible dining experience at this five-star restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication. Very nice place . We were a party of 8. Food lovely, service great. All the food came at the same time. Absolutely no problems all the food orders correct and tasty. Though there was a bit too much ginger in mine. We will be going again.

Delicious Chinese (Cantonese) food. Quality ingredients and very friendly staff. We ordered the Chicken with black bean sauce, salted chilli King prawns, salt and chilli bean curd and sizzling fillet Cantonese style. These king prawns were our favourite but all dishes were nice. Would definitely go back again.

An incredible dining experience with top-notch service! I had the pleasure of visiting this grill buffet restaurant, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the owner and the waiter made me feel right at home. Both are truly exceptional—attentive and passionate about providing a unique experience. They took the time to explain every detail of the menu and were always available to ensure everything was perfect. As for the food, "delicious" doesn't quite do it justice! The variety of grilled meats is impressive, each cut perfectly seasoned and cooked to the ideal point. You can really tell that the ingredients are top-quality, and each bite is a burst of flavour. The side dishes are fresh and plentiful, perfectly complementing the meats. And to top it all off, the 100% natural ice creams they offer are out of this world! The flavours are fresh, authentic, and the perfect way to end such an amazing meal. You simply can't leave without trying one. Without a doubt, this place is a gem, both for the quality of the food and the warm, personal service. Just delicious! First time visiting after walking past hundreds of times wondering where that beautiful smell was coming from! Did not disappoint! The ribs and all meats were just amazingly delicious! The staff so friendly and polite. Will definitely be visiting every week from now :)

First time visiting this place, we visited for dinner and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was great, all you can eat buffet and meat was excellent. They bring freshly grilled meat straight from the grill to your table and serve you. All the staff were friendly, Miguel and Darwin were excellent and looked after us. I would highly recommend this place. Hope to visit again soon.

Lovely lakeside restaurant with inventive food options. Truffle crisps were delicious, and the red curry and chicken schnitzel were also good. For the area it’s pricey, but you’re also paying for its location.

8/10 Hidden gem in Romford. I LOVE the Red Thai curry, Pork and chives dumplings and the Korean Chicken wings. CHAAT SALAD IS A MUST! Restaurant ambiance is nice. It's even more lovely to seat at the terrace overlooking the lake. They have the best dark chocolate cake, served with a scoop of coconut ice cream. Overall it's a great place to dine with family, friends and lovers. They accept events too. Run by Chef Megha.

We visited this delightful restaurant while in Romford visiting friends and family. What a perfect evening! The setting is so pretty with lovely views of the park, the atmosphere relaxed and friendly, the food and wine fantastic - our only sadness is that we don’t live closer, as we would definitely be back a lot! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, we are looking forward visiting again next time we’re in town.

Phenomenal! We visited on a weeknight after having lived in the area for almost 7 years and were blown away. The menu is eclectic but every dish was incredibly well-executed - the calamari and the fish tacos were the best I’ve ever tasted, and the view across Raphael’s Park from the terrace was lovely. We didn’t realise how dog friendly it is, and will definitely be back with our pup!

I recently dined at this local Greek restaurant and had an unforgettable meal featuring their spit-roasted lamb, cooked to perfection over a charcoal grill. The lamb was simply incredible—tender, juicy, and packed with a smoky, savory flavor that’s easily the best I’ve ever tasted. Paired with a crisp, fresh salad and flavorful rice, every bite was a delight. We also had Dolma and baked feta cheese for starters and my wife had a grilled holumi kebab. All the food was amazing. The experience was made even better by the superb service. Our waitress was fantastic—bubbly, friendly, and attentive in a way that really made us feel welcome. Although I didn’t catch her name, her warmth and enthusiasm added a special touch to our evening. It was my first visit, but I’m already looking forward to returning for both the amazing food and the outstanding service!

Came here on a random night the food portions were a very good size, food was lovely. I’ll probably come back here again.

I found this place on Uber eats. Really good options and good prices for the portion sizes. I was really impressed with the quality and the tastiness of the pork souvlaki, offering a three skewer kebab box. The salad was just under a tenner, which I think is a little steep.

Really nice cosy environment...hospitality was friendly. Food wise the bread in the starter thankfully was warm and tender soft to bite into. The salad was glistening and tasted just as good. We had the platter for 2 for main which didn't disappoint tasting just as it should do, authentically turkish!. Will definitely be back again.

Good location, you can park on the side streets as it’s free. Staff was very welcoming and helpful the food was brilliant and it’s reasonably priced. 10/10 from me

Been here couple of times with the family and the food has always been scrumptious 😋. Always fresh and full of flavour, the naga lahmachun is a hit if you love spice. Service has always been great here. Definitely recommend 👌

Really enjoyed a quick dine in snack. Lovely comfortable interior, intimate for all occasions. Have always enjoyed their takeouts at home, it’s a great halal place.

Me and my friends came here yesterday for two of our 16th birthday party. To be honest, as an African, I was terrified of trying the food as I've never tried Caribbean food before but I was blown away! Honestly, the oxtail was so succulent, the plantain was sweet, the jerk chicken was beautiful, the drinks were amazing, the service was quick considering we were a party of 8 and its a small business, and best of all, the prices are cheap! Two of us were Muslims, and their menu is halal, and even has vegan options. We're all broke teens and we didn't have to break the bank to eat well. Thank you Paradise!

Went to this restaurant and all I can say is the food was absolutely amazing 11/10, couldn’t fault it. Amazing flavour, cooked well and presented great. The staff were so kind and funny too and looked after us well. 10000% would recommend this place to anyone, it was great. Ignore the bad reviews they’re just salty people. As someone of a Caribbean descent, I know good food when I see it and this was one of them!

Been to this restaurant about five times now and will keep coming back. So happy I found this gem of a Caribbean restaurant. The flavors are spot on, you can taste the authentic Caribbean spices from the jerk chicken to the curry goat and my personal favourite, the oxtail. Every dish is cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The portions are generous. The staff are friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Paradise is also family-friendly, which is a huge bonus! My kids love the menu and we always leave with full stomachs and big smiles. If you’re craving genuine Caribbean flavors in a relaxed setting, Paradise is the place to be. Would Highly recommend you visit.
