Food was genuinely delectable. This is such a hidden gem in Stratford. I completely cleaned the plate because I couldn’t get enough of this divine cooking. Will definitely come again I highly recommend!

The customer service was exceptional, the worker offered me a free mojito on the house and a selection of their sauces also. Food was nice, I like the wings, loaded fries were tasty, cheesy, fresh and hot. Burger could improve a little as was expecting a slightly better quality of meat like gourmet style smashed beef, however this was closer to a quarter pounder rather than a smash burger. But incredible value for money with impeccable care for customer satisfaction

The Grande Restaurant Stratford was a gem & turned out to be the absolutely perfect venue for our very large family celebration due to its outdoor terrace & parking near by. Service was fab & friendly, food was yummy esp the freshly made pizzas (laden with molten cheesy goodness!), fries & grilled parwns that we'd ordered as appetisers 😄! We spent most of the evening sitting out it was wonderful & Mediterranean like, kids playing around us not being bored, babies were being passed around giving the new mums a well deserved break & the doggo got much attention & fuss it was a brilliant evening 😍🤩; we are already planning to go back for date night & another big family get-together before the summer ends!

Great local pub, cafe, restaurant. Fantastic outdoor space. Great design and interior. Decent breakfasts. Decent pub food. Great location. Staff are hit and miss. There are a couple of amazing and friendly staff members and a couple of slow/not so helpful ones. Fantastic drinks, gin and cocktail selection. I come here a couple of times a week. Dog friendly.

We stopped by for a drink and a burger after the ABBA show which is right nearby. The football was on the big screen outside and it was a good place to hang out for a while, good burgers and drinks and a big bus outside, what’s not to like!

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we enjoyed every last minute. From the drinks to the food but that was eclipsed by the service. I have been few times at Big Joe’s in Stratford, and it is always an all-around fantastic experience! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. Just got back after a delightful meal with my family at Slice of Meat. Everything was delicious but the curry goat topped them all! Portion sizes were extremely generous. Mojitos were refreshing, especially the lychee mojito. We finished of our meal with hot, freshy made churros and ice cream. Cannot fault the service here, we were made to feel very comfortable by the owner and his staff. Would definitely recommend this place and we can't wait to go back soon.

I had an absolutely amazing experience! I started with the jerk wings, which were full of flavour and cooked to perfection. For the mains, I enjoyed the ribs and jerk donner – both were delicious, tender, and packed with that signature jerk spice. To top it all off, the house-made mojitos were the perfect refreshing touch. What really stood out was the exceptional service – the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Had an interesting mix of flavours and textures in my Balkan breakfast (see photo) which worked very well. A mixture of breads, paste, eggs and sausages. My other two friends had the very tasty shakshuka and pancakes. A lot on the upside, drinks good and decent price, location, setting atmosphere but just wish waitresses weren’t so surly … the owner however was very pleasant and chatted with us at our table. I’ve been a few times and will go again. Good value for money at least the brunch items we had which included a glass of sparkling for £6. Go try the out the varied menu.

The shop seating is a little tight, it gets quite busy and the food is quite goood The red fried chicken we ordered was very tasty but toooooo many bones to deal with in your mouth The butter chicken was very nice, but very few pieces of chicken actually came in it The lamb shank and rice was really tasty as well, defo coming back for that!

If you don't know what to eat and need a safe option, this is one of the places to go. I have the pork Sunday roast; the meat isn’t dry, with no burn mark, which is a good sign! As I hate to see my food is burned…😅 The pork belly is a bit salty and peppery, but this still wasn’t able to cover the taste of the pork. Eating it together with any of the vegetables is a good combination as there isn’t any seasoning on the vegetables that balances out the saltiness. The mushroom ravioli (vg) option isn’t too bad either. They do give a lot of mushrooms!!
