We ordered lechon kawali with garlic rice and sisig. We definitely love it. Every single bite feels like home. The lechon kawali was very crispy and mouth watering. The sisig was legit and worth the visit. We also love the service because it felt like we were back in the Philippines. The owner was very warm and friendly. The place was very clean and cozy. Overall, we would highly recommend this to everyone especially those looking for an authentic Filipino cuisine.

Customer service 10+ Chicken wings with homemade sauce exceptionally good. Everything was very well prepared. Had the soup the morning after, added instant noodles. Just great. The fried pork stayed crispy. Travelled from east London and was not disappointed. Please try. Would recommend and go again.

This place is a hidden gem! I have been living in Charlton for 4 years and I could never imagine that we could find the best Filipino food in London in my doorstep. The food is authentic and rich, the pork belly and the crispy pata (pork leg) are one of the best meals I’ve ever had!! It’s extremely crunchy and juicy and succulent, I have no words to describe it and I highly recommend you check out. All the dishes are delicious and the owners are very friendly. For a moment I thought I was in Philippines.

if you want authentic filipino food with real fast-food vibe, this is the place you need to go. Travelled all the way from North but it is worth it, plus the food are very good and affordable👍 and you can have platter orders too!

We had a late Sunday lunch here today... They do have a fairly wide ranging menu so it was hard to decide. But we ended up with fried kangkung (water spinach / morning glory), crispy pata (very crispy pork knuckle), beef kare kare (very tender bead in a peanutty sauce with bits of vegetables), pancit palabok (stir fried vermicelli with lots of little bits including pork and shrimp) and garlic fried rice. It was all very tasty albeit maybe it could do with a bit more spice but maybe it was because they thought we couldn't handle it 😂 - and we could have asked for it too! Oh and I would recommend the calamansi (lime) drink which was pretty refreshing. The uncle and lady who served us were very friendly and attentive too - we will certainly be back in future! It is a small establishment so we would recommend going during off peak hours if you want to sit in!

I had the pleasure of having dinner at this restaurant for this first time the weekend. It’s a hidden gem, the atmosphere was amazing, great music and ambience. The waiter was so lovely, the food was amazing! I enjoyed everything, they have an amazing selection of foods that meet most dietary requirements. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again.

This was a real find! Lovely atmosphere inside, everything is nicely decorated in an Ecuadorian way, but we decided to sit outside in the equally lovely garden, which contains a beautiful mural. We had to wait for one person to join us for a considerable time and the owner looked after us in a very friendly manner during that time. The food was wonderful, we shared Patatas Bravas, Champions al Ajillo, and Camarones Apanados, the latter being my absolute favourite. They were a recommendation by the owner, as was my main course, the Pincho de Pollo, which was exquisite. The restaurant closes at 2:30 for the afternoon, but we had such a good time, we lost track of time and we weren’t asked to leave, very nicely, until half an hour later. Sorry about that, thanks for making us feel so welcome throughout our stay! We will come again if we’re in the area!

Update: 2nd visit and can now recommend the basque cheesecake too 🍰 This really is a hidden gem. Tapas selection is fabulous and the orange cake is one of the best I've tasted. Support this independent family run business. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely cosy restaurant with a broad menu, relaxed atmosphere and superb staff. We came for a friend's birthday celebration and the staff went out of their way to make the night extra special. We had variety of tapas, mains, paella and desserts and were very satisfied! The food was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. It had a friendly neighbourhood restaurant vibe. We loved the relaxed ambience and talented live guitarist.

The Green Goddess
43a Vanbrugh Park, London SE3 7AA, UK | Pub P: Not available
Rating: 4.7 (196) Price Level:
Generally friendly and good energy place. They're doing lots of events for the community which I feel (as a local) is desperately needed. I attend the pub quiz here monthly. I'd come more often but I'm more of a spirits drinker so it's usually the events pulling me here not the drink selection (although I have had a couple of ciders here that I have enjoyed).
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely little local place. Very friendly, helpful bar staff who will guide you to make sure you select something you'll really enjoy. Relaxed atmosphere that welcomes dogs and children. Great value too.
Rating: 5 / 5
Great selection of beers, can't rate the food as we didn't have any.
Rating: 4 / 5
First time I'm Blackheath and an instantly gentler, less frantic vibe than in Central London. This is a fab pub. Really well laid out, excellent beer choice and great service. Perhaps unfairly I dropped a star as brewery not yet up and running. When it is....good potential to become the 5 stars it deserves. Keep going people, you have something special here.

Recently visited Greenwich for a stay with friends and we went to The Green Goddess several times. Of course the beers are great and staff is wonderful but the atmosphere was great. Lots of soul and character and exactly what I want out of a local pub. I can’t wait to visit again!

Kesar Punjabi Restaurant - Charlton
192 Woolwich Rd, London SE7 7RA, UK | Restaurant P: 020 7018 0230
Rating: 4.5 (436) Price Level:
I ordered the large mixed girl, chicken curry, chicken Karahi and the chow bhature for pickup. The staff I talked to on the phone was wonderful and helpful! Honestly this is by far the best Indian takeaway food I have had. Everything is perfectly spiced and tastes amazing! I would 100% recommend this place!
Rating: 5 / 5
Having tried punjabi food at over 50 places in the UK, Kesar comes in my top 3 now. The taste is highly authentic and very close to what you get in North India. We ordered Karahi chicken (on our server’s request(Abhishek)- who was wonderful btw), naan/tandori roti and chole bhature and absolutely LOVED everything. It’s a restaurant I’d come to even if I live far far away because of the taste. Not to mention- their portion size is very generous relatively. Must try if you are wanting to try authentic Pubjabi/north Indian cuisine.
Rating: 5 / 5
The food is soooo delicious!!! We had the Saag, which was creamy and had such good flavour! We also had the Kadahi, which was fantastic! Perfect spiciness. And the rice and garlic naan were super as well. If we let bed in the area we’d be getting take out all the time! Just FYI there is a 10% service charge added when we got our bill.
Rating: 4 / 5
So, I had a takeout. Hence the atmosphere is one cause obviously I want to post an authentic review. So, I ordered the samosa, boondi raita, dal makhani and tandoori roti. I would say overall, great food. The only thing is I felt there was less salt but I see that as a good thing because I’d rather have a restaurant put less/no salt in my food than overdo it. The samosa was piping hot which was THE BEST!
Rating: 5 / 5
Delicious and very tasty food. Aloo paratha, butter chicken and dal makhani worth a try. Would surely recommend everyone who wants to try Indian food.

Sky Garden
1, Sky Garden Walk, City of London, London EC3M 8AF, UK | N/A P: 0333 772 0020
Rating: 4.6 (65551) Price Level:
I wasn’t able to book in advance tickets for the Sky Garden, but this place is so pretty that we had to try to go up anyways. The staff was super kind telling us they were going to decide in a little bit if they could let people with no reservation get inside. We waited around 10’, then they let us at 11am. The place is amazing. Very worth the visit and getting coffee/drinks with one of the priceless views on London. It’s very clean, organized and calm.
Rating: 4 / 5
Amazing 360 view of London. It’s in 35th floor with viewing platform and green space. Tickets are mandatory to enter. Free tickets are also available in online for a certain time slot and date. Waiting time, including bag check is around 10 to 15 minutes. There are plenty of spaces, chairs and tables, coffee shops, and 2 restaurants in the upper floor. Well worth a visit.
Rating: 5 / 5
What an exceptional surprise to find that a rooftop of this caliber offers free access! Kudos to everyone who made this possible. The process of acquiring the free tickets was seamless, and the entry experience was well-organized, with the right level of security and efficient queue management. Once inside, we were greeted by a stunning and spectacular garden in the clouds—truly a sight to behold. What impressed me even more was the pricing at the bar. You’d expect sky-high prices or to be bombarded with overpriced souvenirs, but that wasn’t the case at all. The bar had accessible, reasonably priced options that made it easy to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. A must-visit destination in London, and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.
Rating: 5 / 5
It's awesome how a normal looking building can give such an absolutely beautiful view of the city, and thames. We missed the London eye as it got closed for 2 weeks for repair. But this place I think beats the view. Nice, tiny coffee shop and bar at the top also adds to the charm
Rating: 5 / 5
Sky Garden is an absolute gem in the heart of London! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with spectacular views of the city, making it a perfect spot for photography or just soaking in the skyline. The lush greenery adds a tranquil vibe, creating a relaxing contrast to the urban surroundings. The seating areas are comfortable, and it never feels overcrowded. The bar serves refreshing drinks, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Whether you’re visiting for the views, the atmosphere, or just a peaceful break, the Sky Garden is a must-see.

Nine Lounge
228 Tunnel Ave, London SE10 0PL, UK | Restaurant P: 07453 326350
Rating: 4.6 (3625) Price Level:
So this was my first time at Nine. Me and wife went for a meal for our 16th wedding anniversary. The restaurant is on the 8th floor of the Raddison Red hotel in Greenwich. We were met downstairs in the lobby area approximately 5 minutes after arriving and were taken up to the restaurant. First thing I noted is that there is no cloakroom, and you have to hang your coat on the back of your chair, which is a little awkward when you have a winter over coat. The views were very pleasant and good for taking pics. The food was not bad, but a little overpriced. I had the steak as my main. It was very soft and tender, however the sauce and mash were very rich. After a few mouthfuls it becomes quite heavy on the stomach. My wife had the chicken, which was also quite nice but I wouldn’t say it was amazing. Overall, it is a nice place with a nice atmosphere and vibe.
Rating: 5 / 5
Came here because it it looked really pretty in the pictures and it did not disappoint. Evin was our server and she was really sweet and attentive. Will definitely recommend.
Rating: 5 / 5
I recently went there with my friends and we have received the best service ever! We had the best table with the greatest view and the staff was amazing! It is quiet affordable and the food was really great. It is a nice spot for a romantic date or a great experience with friends or family.

Cutty Sark
4-6 Ballast Quay, London SE10 9PD, UK | Pub P: 020 8858 3146
Rating: 4.5 (3179) Price Level:
What to say about Cutty Sark. The place is very nice and located in front of the water. I have been there with few friends during the week for dinner and we had a really good time. As soon as we entered, we were surprised by the interior, which was very cool. Once we placed the order, it didn't take long before our food arrived on the table and it was all really good. So good that we had to much I will say :). The dessert was ok but not at the same expectations as the main courses. The price as I was expecting so no surprises. I will be back again and recommend to others.

Dunno why - but the staff here, especially on a Saturday. Are so amazing. For real - best energy, all happy not stressed and it shows. The food was excellent, staff super attentive and just lovely! Keep it up guys. Really enjoyed the vibe. Good for dogs! Recommend the fish and chips 💯
Rating: 5 / 5
Really lovely pub with beautiful views of Thames away from the touristic Greeniwch Town Centre. We were positively surprised with a quality of food and service; all dishes were tasty, portions quite generous, good red wine (Merlot, Chile) and very friendly service. The place can get really busy on Saturday afternoon/evening so if you are for a meal and a table by the window better book in advance.
Rating: 5 / 5
We went here for Christmas Day lunch. They were very well organised. The five courses were of a high quality. Ox cheek and stilton croquette for starter, full roast, Christmas pudding and cheese and crackers to send us off for a winter walk around Greenwich park.
Rating: 5 / 5
Cutty Sark Pub delivered a delightful meal with classic British charm. The fish and chips were crispy, light, and perfectly paired with chunky, seasoned chips. The chicken roast was tender and juicy, complemented by well-cooked, flavorful roast vegetables. The cozy atmosphere and excellent food make this a spot worth returning to.

Sefa Restaurant
129-131 Trafalgar Rd, London SE10 9TX, UK | Turkish Restaurant P: 020 8269 0233
Rating: 4.5 (1237) Price Level:
The food was amazing nice. There was a wide variety of options to choose from. Definitely recommend the Mediterranean breakfast if you're health conscious. The pancake deserts are delicious, there was nothing left on the plate! The food did take longer than expected time to arrive. Level of service varied between waiters. Will be visiting again soon.
Rating: 4 / 5
Nice place in the area. I tried the Adana Kebab, which was good. The Mantı was tasty, but the portion was very small and not worth the price. I probably won’t order it again. The same goes for the mezes, kisir, and sarma, which were smaller than expected for the price. The toilets were clean, and the service was fast.
Rating: 5 / 5
Food was delicious and will definitely be back again. They have an amazing lunch menu too. Mucahid was friendly and made great conversation. 1st time visit 10/10!
Rating: 5 / 5
This restaurant was lovely. I had the Sefa burger this visit, which was really good. I want to come back for their breakfast menu 😋. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The decor was modern and photographable. It's a very cute spot in Greenwich. Very accessible.

Anchor & Hope
Riverside, London SE7 7SS, UK | Pub P: 020 8858 0382
Rating: 4.5 (957) Price Level:
Always lively down here on a summer day. Can sit by the river. Pub is the best in the area. Classic old pub look inside, reasonable selection on tap. Got TV for sports, jukebox too. Sitting outside in the beer garden by the river is best though.
Rating: 5 / 5
The Sunday roast at Anchor & Hope is great. We’ve had it a few times, and it’s always spot on. The lamb roast, in particular, is delicious. The pub itself has a relaxed vibe, with river views and a nice outdoor terrace.
Rating: 5 / 5
The most delicious Sunday roast enjoyed by my friends and me today. The staff and owner Mark so hospitable and showed true customer service that left we three ladies feeling truly cared for and appreciative of their care of quality and that they truly want customers to enjoy every aspect . Sadly they did not have my favourite cider . They had been very busy over the weekend , which is great . I was offered alternative and was given a sample for approval. Was a good recommendation. Not many pubs etc would do that . It’s a popular local place and my first visit after previously ordering take out . As a lone female, I would feel more than comfortable going there. Great team!
Rating: 5 / 5
Had a very tasty roast there today. Food is nicely presented and the quantity is superb. Meat is greatly cooked, and the roast potatoes were the cherry on top. If you are looking for a tasty Sunday roast at a reasonable price, this is the place to go
