My 'Spicy Spin' tagliatelle meal was exquisite. It contained prawns, basil, tomatoes, chillies and olive oil. Such simple ingredients, but it was just exceptional. It's a light, bright interior with greenery, sadly fake, but pretty nonetheless. The service was good and the waiting staff were smiley, attentive and professional. My chosen dish took a bit longer than normal to arrive, but as it's all made fresh then that's all fine with me. I had Tres Leche cake for dessert and a hot chocolate. All faultlessly delicious. I was treating myself after a health check appointment. I'll go again soon.

This is a great place. We went on a friday evening and the restaurant was empty ( very surprising). The place and furniture was also cosy and comfortable. It was also warm inside( we went on a winter night) . The service was great and the waiter paid attention to requests, clarifying any hiccups. She also updated us on progress of our food. The food itself was good. I got the ribs with coleslaw and topped with some fries. Very delicious. I also had a steak salad. Steak was too good but greens were a bit dry. I had a safe sex mocktail which tasted amazingggg. It was made from fresh fruits as I could taste the richness in the orange flavour. Very lovely place and affordable too. Would recommend to visit if in Leyton area

Wanted to visit this cafe for some time and finally got round to it this week. You instantly feel welcome. We had a pram, they accomodated us moving chairs, so as we could feel comfortable. It is family run and such a lovely bunch of people😊Warm, chatty and actually took the time to show interest in us too. The coffee was great and the white chocolate traybake was amazing!! Really wish them well..they deserve it so much. We will definitely be back Thank you😊

Just moved to the neighborhood and have been worried about where my local curry spot would be. Found it in this place. Great neighborhood curry place. Food was excellent. Staff was super chill and friendly. I will be coming back to dine in and get take away in the future. They even have breakfast! Solid option if you’re in the neighborhood.

Lovely little place, a hidden gem located in forest gate. Traditional food was served, good as home cooked meals. Highly recommend lamb bhuna!

Best Indian takeaway ever. Spotlessly clean, absolutely delicious dishes all delivered in eco sustainable packaging by a lovely team. We order far too frequently but it tastes very healthy, not greasy at all.

We were in London late in the evening and we found this small place. My girlfriend and her cousine had a Vegan dish with rice. I always go for Chiken Bryani, in this case I have noticed there were spinach and potato on the ingridients, so I choosed the Lamb option. It was so delicious…one of the best I ever had, it came with tarka dhal on side. I would really reccomend, the staff is very welcome and always trying to make you feel confortable. See you next time :)

Staff have given us really good recommendations and service is top-tier! The food was brilliant, especially the samosa, Saag Aloo and Lamb Dhansak. We can feel that this restaurant really cares about their customers and how they present their dishes. We really enjoyed our meal and this place is certainly a local gem. Would definitely recommend!

5 stars all the way! We turned up fairly late on an eve between Christmas and New Year, they let us know that we had about an hour and suggested we settle on what we were ordering fairly quickly, and then we were never made to feel time pressured again after that. Expect good food, with good service in a nice relaxed contemporary curry house. Will I go again? Yes. But, it’s 6 hours from me, so I’ll nae get to sample it again until next time visiting friends in that neck of the woods. If you’re local, go there, enjoy.

The food is amazing and so much quality. I would like to also thank the manager and staff. They are so attentive and their food recommendation and knowledge was fantastic. This place is the best Indian in Wanstead for sure. Can’t wait to come back.

I am Indian and have been dining in Indian restaurants for over 30 years and I can honestly say that this restaurant serves the freshest and tastiest Bangladeshi cuisine I have tasted. Every dish was freshly cooked and the signature chicken dishes were delicious. The staff were kind and friendly. Will be making regular visits with my family. Highly recommended. ash

This is a lovely place to go for brunch, the small selection of food is varied enough and would suit most diets; with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available and the friendly staff happy to accommodate any allergies or intolerances. It's a great place to go for a treat yourself meal as it's a bit dearer than we expected but well worth it. Loved the pistachio iced latte and vegan wrap, we had the optional fried egg which really added a lot to the dish as they were exceptional eggs. It's dog friendly with outdoor seating and beautiful decor. We will certainly be returning to the popular destination.

Liiiisssssten, this cafe right here is a must try. If you are OK with nuts, go for the pistachio latte. I had it with oat milk 😋. We ordered the bacon and egg with mushroom wrap...absolutely succulent. The sausages are tasty too. They also do vegan breakfast.

This is the best cafe in London. Amazing food. Amazing coffee and amazing friendly staff. The Turkish eggs and Nonna’s baked eggs are to die for. Treat yourself to a Parmesan hash brown as well you won’t regret it.

My friends live locally and we had discussed eating here as it's their favorite local restaurant. Despite my friends booking a different place due to miscommunication the lovely maitre D managed to set up a large table for our group and everyone arrived albeit a little late. Service was friendly and efficient, the menu had so much variety that even the fussy eaters were happy and the actual dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Really happy with the wine selection too.

Definitely worth the visit for lunch, fantastic selection of French cuisine. Every dish I tried had an air of quality and flavours were superb. I tried the gazpacho soup as a starter which was a great balance of spice and tomato flavour. Also tried the lamb and rabbit both melt in mouth good especially the rabbit. Topped off with a creme brulee which was as good as I have tasted. Service was good, welcoming and helpful whilst efficient a very relaxing visit.

A very enjoyable experience. For a local restaurant, this is probably as good as it gets. The arancini was delicious and the steak was slightly overcooked and lacked a little flavour but still very good quality. Definitely deserving of the Michelin Guide mention and would certainly visit again.

Short notice Thursday booking. 3 course dinner for one. Shared the starter and desert. Chicken main was second meal. 500ml of the Malbec. Recommended, and hoping to return to try more of the menu. Tall waiter was very knowledgeable of ingredients of our dishes.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant yesterday. We tried the soup of the day (a delicious lentil soup), octopus (I ordered it as a hot starter, and my husband chose the main course option), mussels, chicken burger, and chicken skewer. Every dish was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The octopus was a special highlight. We couldn’t help but remember a past holiday where my husband had the best octopus of his life. When we shared this story with our server, Cengo, he smiled and assured us, “You’re about to have the second-best experience!” My husband agreed, placing this octopus as a close second to his favorite and very similar in taste and quality—a delightful surprise. The kids were thrilled with the free scoop of ice cream included in their meal, and they were absolutely delighted with their treat! We had the pleasure of being served by Cengo, who was incredibly kind and attentive, as was his colleague (though we didn’t catch her name). The atmosphere was relaxed, with soft lighting that created a calm and cozy ambiance, perfect for enjoying a meal. To finish the meal, they surprised us with Turkish delight and generously offered an extra drink on the house, which we kindly declined but truly appreciated the gesture. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’re looking forward to coming back! ;-)

We went there for my husband’s birthday. We really enjoyed all the food and the service was fantastic. We even got Baileys on the house. We would highly recommend Filika.

My friend and I just came to Filika to eat and catch up. I have to say the food is fantastic. I had a mixed grill. It was tender succulent and just melts in your mouth. My friend had grill prawn with rice and salad, which she said was excellent lovely and fresh which she enjoyed very much. The Hummus and bread which you get free was to die for. Check this place out you won’t be disappointed Jengo was an excellent waiter, very helpful and friendly. I will be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family

“A wonderful place where taste, atmosphere, and service come together perfectly! Each dish was prepared with care, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive, answering all our questions politely. Especially [dish name] is a must-try! If you’re looking for a warm and welcoming environment where you feel at home, you should definitely visit this place. It was an amazing experience, and we can’t wait to come back again!”

Cafe Brunch in Wanstead is a cozy and welcoming spot, known for its hearty full English breakfasts and accommodating service. The ambiance is warm, and the food is consistently praised for its quality and generous portions. However, I strongly suggest you double-check your order and confirm it with the staff—there have been mix-ups, and you might end up being served something different from what you requested. While the staff is friendly and eager to make things right, attention to detail could improve the overall experience. That said, the reasonable prices and good food still make it worth a visit! I especially didn’t like being directed to a smaller table.

Dama de Elche is a fantastic neighborhood gem. It's not on the high road, which means that most people (even locals) don't know about it. We really love this tapas restaurant and have been coming here for some time. It's a family run business, the atmosphere and the welcome you get makes you feel like you're in Spain. We always get the chicken livers and octopus, they are both must have dishes when we're here. Our 3 year old loves the Spanish omelette, he finished it all by himself today and declared it 'yummy' with every bite. The price is very reasonable for tapas in London. We had 6 dishes, bread, olives, two glasses of Rioja and an OJ for a reasonably priced £70 (including service). If you are planning to come here on a Friday or Saturday evening, then best to book ahead as they're usually fully booked and you'll be disappointed if you tried to just turn up. If you're in the mood for some authentic tapas if you're living in the area or just visiting, then drop by and treat yourself to some fantastic home cooked tapas in a wonderful atmosphere.

A good local restaurant, lovely atmosphere, especially after a few glasses of Spanish wine. Clean and well decorated space. The staff seem rather stern at times. Good selection of food, nice menu...but unfortunately cooked for an English palette (which is a shame). Amazing almond tart 😋 highly recommend this with a glass of wine or two 😂

Went there for my lunch break, so I spoke to the waitress as I had limited time. The service was very quick and the food too! Plus, I took 3 courses set on the menu, bruschetta with roasted peppers and mozzarella, maccheroncini with mushrooms and sausages sausages, and to finish Tiramisu, which is it a good value compared to the quality of the food.
