Delicious Algerian dishes. Authentic, tasty. Lovely service and welcoming to women even though this is a male dominated cafe. High hygiene score. Good for an early morning coffee, lunch, takeaway, Ramadan dinners or evening football match!

The place looks dodgy, let it not discourage you because the food is great. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and helpful. Portions are generous. For everything you can see in my photo I paid 8ÂŁ. That's amazing value. The food was delicious. Lamb stew with beans was full of intense african flavour. Chilli paste and chilli pepper were wonderful add on, both on pleasant high end of hotness. Great place for a quick lunch.

Lovely place and lovely staff. Food so nice. Had starter of prawns in garlic and white wine sauce - heavenly. For my main I had lamp chops with the creamiest mash I’ve ever had. Lovely decor. Will definitely go back.

I recently visited Tuto with two friends, and we had an incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing—each dish was full of flavour and prepared to perfection. You can truly tell they use fresh, quality ingredients, and everything felt authentically Italian. Whether it was pasta, pizza, or desserts, every bite was a delight! If you're looking for delicious Italian cuisine and outstanding service, I highly recommend Tuto. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy a great meal with friends or family. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch at SlowBurn. The place has become really trendy in east London, but despite the sharing, small plates concept it’s not a rip off and tastes delicious (differently to many many other east London restaurants who simply take the mickey out of you these days). We had cauliflowers fritters, ravioli and the squid. Would highly recommend. The chocolate mousse with mango was incredible, too.

Tucked away behind an unassuming entrance, this restaurant is a hidden gem that delights with its quirky ambiance and exceptional cuisine. The small plates are among the best I’ve enjoyed in the past year, each dish bursting with creativity and flavor. The highlight, however, is the smoked chicken; undoubtedly the finest I’ve ever tasted. A must-visit for those seeking a memorable dining experience!

Since opening in Walthamstow last year I have been here a few times. First thing is that the Mains dishes from the menu are excellent, if you miss home food then choose from the Mains here. All the food is so good, fresh (hummus, salad), and delicious (beef lamb chicken and sauces), On weekday evenings the 3 TVs show football (audio will be Albanian - many of the happy customers are Albanian or Italian). If football is not on ask and they will change the channel. Reasonably priced bar for wine and beer. There is a closed pool room normally packed with players but as a visitor you don't notice it except for hearing the occasional crack of the pack breaking.

The restaurant was spacious with air conditioning. However, they seem to have a smoking area at the back that makes the whole restaurant smell of cigarettes. Hence the one star off. The food itself was a really good portion and tasted fantastic. The grilled lamb chop is one of the best. the side dishes were great too. The menu does not have much option for dining for one. As the portion is big, I was the only woman there. It was a bit awkward! But it is worth the visit for the food if you can put off the cigarette smell. The service was a bit odd, but I did not mind.

Excellent Albanian restaurant with dishes familiar to an Eastern European palate as well as more pan-Mediterranean ones. The atmosphere is convivial and seems to be a real community hub, with what looks to be an Albanian music channel playing and lots of groups of Albanians meeting. Visited Oct 2024 and had several starters/small plates : the Fasule me mish (a tomatoey bean and salt beef soup) which came with fresh bread, a qofta and a strained yoghurt and pepper salad. It was all excellent and very filling. Service was friendly and people seemed happy that a non-Albanian was trying their cuisine/trying their best to pronounce their dishes! Hoping to return to try the mains, which I imagine are even more substantial.

Etles Uyghur Restaurant

P: 020 3620 6978

Rating: 4.5 (777) Price Level:

Great ambience, lovely friendly and helpful staff. Staff helped with recommendations and preferences. Starters arrived quite quickly and mains not too late after that which was very nice. Dumplings and their homemade chill oil are great, and their hand pulled noodles are very well cooked with unique flavour.

Great food and service! Big plate chicken is a must to try, the noodles cuisine are so authentic, the traditional milk tea is authentic too but if you are not used to the salty flavour might not like it upon first try. Would highly recommend it despite the location is a bit far from city centre.

we were slightly unsure when we decided to go because we'd heard some conflicting things, but in the end we were blown away. the food was delicious, although a lot of it was slightly odd, and a large amount of it was veggie-/vegan-/halal-friendly, which we were worried about. it isn't really like anything else - a few things we ordered we couldn't finish because they were too odd for our tastes, but on the whole the stuff was surprisingly tasty. the portion sizes were more than ample. the staff was really friendly and helpful, and the place itself was really nicely decorated with all sorts of traditional things that we couldn't quite describe. it was really quiet, which gave it a slightly odd atmosphere, but overall it was a really pleasant experience.

Food was really yummy, we order noodles with prawns, lamb and some lamb from grill. It was all well prepared. We request one of the noodles spicy and it was just right. Only 1 thing is not good, there is no menu for kids. Our son could not have anything from menu, so we had to go to nearby chicken shop to buy for him nuggets and chips.

Wonderful family experience. Chef Andy really looked after us and took the time to personally welcome and serve us. The menu options were wonderful, for both adults and children (we were 4, aged 2-9). The service was phenomenal and the food was absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favour and get down there asap!

One word,... Brilliant,... thats it, end of. The service, the food, the atmosphere i do not have a bad thing to say about the venue. Have been with friends, have been with family all comments extremely complimentary. And the key thing, Price, for what you get and how is looks and tastes, the freshness, I think its cheap. But don't change the prices on my account!!

Great food. Lovely service. Great local restaurant. And Manzes pie and mash listed building interior preserved well. Not as good as the Brewer St original and they sometimes struggle with serving diners and managing a lot of delivery food at the same time, so be prepared to wait for your food. Worth it though.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, opting for a selection of various dishes and sharing with our table of 4. Homemade pasta was awesome, and the service was excellent. It is under new ownership since October and value for money has definitely improved. Portion sizes are good and food is freshly prepared. There was an issue with some dishes being under seasoned but once we added a little bit of salt and pepper the flavours were good. The feedback was well received and hopefully will be acted on. Victor (new owner) came out to speak to guest and is very enthusiastic. Will be back.

Everything was wonderful and delicious. The dishes we ordered and those going to other tables were also fantastic. Both the starters we chose and the main courses 🫠The atmosphere was warm and cozy. The staff were very friendly, too. I can't wait to visit again, but this time, I'll wait for warmer weather so I can sit in their lovely garden 🤭.

What an absolute find this restaurant was. I have been fawning over this menu for weeks and I finally got to visit. First of all the vibes of this place are immaculate. Lovely covered indoor/outdoor seating. The music was on point and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The menu reads so well and we had a hard time nailing down only a few dishes. We could have had the whole menu but there were only 2 of us. After we decided we checked with our server that we’d ordered enough and she said we were bang on. Every single dish was so delicious it’s hard to pick a favourite. The food came out as it was ready which was absolutely fine. I love a good graze and these dishes are perfect for that. We paired our delicious dishes with a bottle of white wine called Friendsips. Totally apt for a girlie friend date. We will definitely be back to The Lacy Nook. I want to try the rest of the menu.

Went for Sunday brunch. Great atmosphere. Has the feeling of a pop up that's done so well it's made a home. Feels like a hidden gem in the middle of a warm community spirit. Bloody Mary's to die for, never had one with bacon before! Sadly there was no dessert as all the Saturday evening diners had eaten them all! Will definitely come back.
