Came on a quiet weekday. Service was a little slow but not the end of the world and it was warm inside with the heaters which was a plus. Food was delicious but found a bug in my takeaway container which they happily exchanged. Wish they had sobolo available so I could comment on that but the didn’t.

Not very busy at the time we went so this was great. Located along the high street a few bus stops from the elephant and castle station. The jollof platter meal was very tasty and highly affordable with loads of sides coming with it. The waiter was good but was quite distracted and took his time when fulfilling some tasks like taking payment. A decent size place and clean as much as it can be! If you are looking for tasty food or a quick bite, this is the place for you 👍🏾

All round superb. Great tasting food and friendly service. Put a smile on your face and treat yourself to The Gambian dishes. Do try the lemon and honey king prawn.

This little gem surpassed our expectations by a long mile. The food was absolutely delicious, from their fresh warm bread and dips down to the baklava! Every single dish was full of flavour and their portions are so generous. We ordered the Fes special platter which said it can feed 4 people. It comfortably fed 4 adults and two children and still had left overs! So glad i have discovered this place on our doorstep and we will definitely be back again! Thank you Fes for your hospitality.

delicious food for reasonable prices and fantastic service! definitely try the baklava and mixed shish, they were delightful! the curly fries were also extremely crispy and yummy (very generous portion size!!)

Cosy and inviting little restaurant. The staff here were so friendly and welcoming, we felt like family! They accommodated us as a large family. Even gave two chocolate cakes for our little children as a compliment. The personal and professional service will no doubt make us return as well as the beautiful tasty fresh food! I really like Fes. The food is excellent - it's the best for kebabs and shawarma on the Walworth Road. The portions are large, the bread is fresh. It's decent value and most importantly, the staff are amazing. It's so welcoming, the kids love the place. So strong recommend.

Overall experience was phenomenal! Great food great service great vibes. Mario was very friendly and welcoming. It was our first time seeing a black tomato and they gave us a fresh one!

I lived in London for years and, unfortunately, didn’t have the chance to visit this restaurant until now. It’s a beautiful place with super tasty food that will make you order more. We started with two shared appetizers: the musky octopus and fried macaroni pasta, both of which were delicious. For our main courses, we ordered two pasta dishes: spaghetti Nerano (with zucchini) and ziti with Genovese sauce (made with onion and meat). While the Nerano was perfect, the Genovese could use some improvement to enhance its flavour. For dessert, we enjoyed the pastiera (ricotta cake), which was nice and fresh. Our server, Daniele (the manager), was attentive and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Had a wonderful lunch here! Food is incredible. We had the paccheri with red fish and spaghetti alle vongole, both were absolutely delicious. Mario was very warm and friendly and was incredibly attentive and made us feel very welcome. Great atmosphere. A wonderful gem in Notting Hill, would definitely come back again!

It's awesome how a normal looking building can give such an absolutely beautiful view of the city, and thames. We missed the London eye as it got closed for 2 weeks for repair. But this place I think beats the view. Nice, tiny coffee shop and bar at the top also adds to the charm

What an exceptional surprise to find that a rooftop of this caliber offers free access! Kudos to everyone who made this possible. The process of acquiring the free tickets was seamless, and the entry experience was well-organized, with the right level of security and efficient queue management. Once inside, we were greeted by a stunning and spectacular garden in the clouds—truly a sight to behold. What impressed me even more was the pricing at the bar. You’d expect sky-high prices or to be bombarded with overpriced souvenirs, but that wasn’t the case at all. The bar had accessible, reasonably priced options that made it easy to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. A must-visit destination in London, and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

Amazing 360 view of London. It’s in 35th floor with viewing platform and green space. Tickets are mandatory to enter. Free tickets are also available in online for a certain time slot and date. Waiting time, including bag check is around 10 to 15 minutes. There are plenty of spaces, chairs and tables, coffee shops, and 2 restaurants in the upper floor. Well worth a visit.

Sky Garden is an absolute gem in the heart of London! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with spectacular views of the city, making it a perfect spot for photography or just soaking in the skyline. The lush greenery adds a tranquil vibe, creating a relaxing contrast to the urban surroundings. The seating areas are comfortable, and it never feels overcrowded. The bar serves refreshing drinks, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Whether you’re visiting for the views, the atmosphere, or just a peaceful break, the Sky Garden is a must-see.

Little did I know that Indian restaurants with 2 Michelin stars exist… Gymkhana impressed our group in many ways. The atmosphere and interior design of the restaurant is stunning and brings a posh and serene mood to us as guests. The staff is very professional and warm, they take all the time to let us come to the perfect choice for the menu. We had a hard time NOT choosing everything on the menu since there are so many interesting dishes listed. We were amazed by the wonderful flavours and presentation, with great wine advice from the sommelier. Hands down the best Indian high end dining experience I’ve enjoyed in my life so far.

Hands down the best Indian we’ve ever had. Deserving of all the awards and accolades. The lunch menu at £60 is amazing value for money with great portion sizes. We could not finish and our doggy bag had us covered for dinner. The service is very careful and professional but without pompous Michelin star distance. Will visit again with absolutely no doubt.

After a long wait, I finally had the chance to try this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was incredible, especially the keema, which was a standout dish. The lamb chops, however, were just okay. What truly made the experience special was the extraordinary service—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. It made the visit all the more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit!

There isn’t much I can say that everyone doesn’t already know. It’s definitely worth the hype. Beautiful decor worth inspecting in detail. Amazing service and the staff know the menu in and out. The food is worth every praise. The price is more than justified especially their “value” lunch menu.

Absolutely stunning restaurant! I was here recently and had some of the most fantastic food. Firstly we were pleasantly greeted by a lovely gentleman (didn’t catch his name but he was super chatty and lovely). And we were seated right by the kitchen which was perfect! Loved seeing the chefs work, one of them was butchering a whole pig at one point - incredible! The food was an easy 10/10. The bone marrow was easily the best dish we had, it’s obvious why they run out of this so quickly. The pork head and broth was so rich and delicious and we loved the lamb and the blood cake too. And how could I forget the Welsh rarebit. So rich and delicious. I want this again! And I’d go back just to have the bone marrow again and again. Highly recommended.

Came for lunch on a Friday, the restaurant and bar area were both busy. The food was excellent, with the standouts being the bone marrow starter and honeycomb ice cream for dessert. The service was friendly without being overbearing. Prices were reasonable given the quality of food Can’t wait to visit again!

One of my favourite restaurants in the world and one of the best arguments for British food I've ever experienced. The staff were incredible, the perfect balance of attentiveness and leaving you to enjoy your food and company. They also advise on how much we should order (they actually suggested that we ordered too many side dishes) as well as wines to pair well with different dishes. The food itself was, as you would expect, exceptional. The famous Bone Marrow exceeded the hype, we had Pigeon and Sole which were beautifully cooked with the perfect accompaniments. This place has made me wish Welsh Rarebit was available as a side in every restaurant. The meal overall was very good value for money considering the amount and quality of what we ate. Absolutely looking forward to going back at the soonest opportunity.

Had a great Christmas meal here, really enjoyed the food and hospitality of the owner and his wife. Very generous portions, would definitely visit again.

Our most favourite unpretentious but quality go-to Italian restaurant in London. We’ve moved around the city a bit and no matter where we end up we keep coming back here. Great quality for a reasonable price. We’ve brought friends and family here and between us we’ve had different pizzas, pastas, risottos, starters and desserts, and everyone was always happy. The service is also top-notch. Everyone is kind from the kitchen staff to the manager, and they make you feel like home. In a city like London, this is priceless.

I made a reservation for 7 people here and they are waiting for me at the door even tho i arrived a bit early. We are seated as soon as we go in with a warm Italian welcome. Menu has great choices with very appealing seafood items. The quality of the food is way beyond the price point. Everyone were very satisfied by the end of the meal with the food and services. True gem in London!

First time customer, ordered the Margherita pizza and it was delicious! Perfect ratios of cheese, dough and sauce. Flavour was not too strong but not bland. Super thin and crispy base. Definitely will return.

Found this restaurant while exploring the neighbourhood. Good price. Big tick for fast, efficient service and amazing delicious food. It was no trouble tweaking the menu a little. Would go back anytime. Highly recommended.

This place was so good, we came back the next day. The staff were so friendly and nice. Breakfasts are great value and come with a good supply of toast and a tea/ coffee. We came as a family or four and left very satisfied both times.

We were welcomed by Paul who was lovely and made sure we knew how everything worked with the Sunday roasts. He was very accommodating for a dietary needs and even gave us extras to account for the things we couldn’t eat. Recommended a great wine too. The food came out so quickly, we opted to share the trio roast which was phenomenal. You get so much for the price. We also had the lovely Dermot bring us our wonderful cheesecake dessert which was incredible. He made sure we were well taken care of and comfortable at the bar when we had to be moved as we had been there a little too long! He went out of his way to make sure all of our needs were met. Overall an incredible visit and would definitely go again and hopefully be served by Dermot and Paul!

Delicious yummy food, the meat chops were so tasty, chips amazing, yummy sauces and the brocoli salad was out of this world. The bread to finish the tasty juices off. Very nice cocktails to start with too. Attention to detail was spot on. Service friendly yet very attentive and professional. Reasonably priced and great value for money. Highly recommend!

Great Sunday roast, if not only the best I had in a long time. Since I’ve arrived, I felt welcomed. Despite not having a reservation, the waiter has found a table for me. The service was attentive and professional from start to finish. The food was tasty and well balanced. I recommend having Sprouts and Bacon as a side as well. Definitely recommend it, and definitely I will try it again

We went for a birthday dinner, and we couldn't have been happier. From the moment we walked into the dining room, the staff were warm and welcoming. The menu flowed at a great pace, and the dishes were executed perfectly, flavours were outstanding of every dish along with their descriptions. We must thank Em our Sommelier on the night and Paolo for their amazing hospitality throughout the night. We were super happy with the wine choice! It was truly memorable.

Outstanding experience. I had lunch here in mid-December and the food and service is incredible. The dining room is beautiful and is arranged so each table has a view of the kitchen. Nearly everything on the tasting menu is exceptional. The dishes have a good level of restraint applied to them so you end up with clean flavours and a clear display of the chefs' skill. With one exception, each course had a very strongly flavoured element - such as the pungent ginger in the sardine sashimi or the almond beurre noisette in the trout dish - which bought everything together in a well-balanced way. The best dish was the Orkney scallop with black truffle - great to see Scottish produce so prominent in a London restaurant. There were some hiccups, namely the dry-aged pork dish not being quite as good as the rest of the menu and the ice cream in the potato mouse being on the melted side - to be fair, the flavours were outstanding, and, as far as sweet and savoury desserts go, this was probably the best I've had. I didn't opt for the pairing but instead had a glass of champagne and Clos Lunelles from Bordeaux, which were both excellent recommendations from the sommelier. I don't think I can remember service at a restaurant being as good as it is here. If, like me, you haven't experienced something like it before, it's great fun to watch, and even better to experience in-person. The staff, whilst quite formal and professional, are very hospitable and accommodating, and do such an outstanding job in such an effortless way. The initial welcome is amazing if you've never experienced something like it before; going out of their way to greet you and make you feel comfortable, pulling your chair out, giving you a hot towel - I'm sure this is fairly standard for a lot of restaurants of this calibre but it was so special for me. The young members of the team are charming and very skilled for being at an early stage of their careers. Syah (I hope I spelled that right!) went the extra mile to make it a special experience. She is a star and was able to build rapport in such a natural way - I hope she goes far in hospitality because she's certainly got the talent for it! I would thoroughly recommend the Clove Club and if I had the money for it I would go there regularly.

2 stars Michelin restaurant in Shoreditch. It’s used to be number 32 but fell to 80th place in the world’s best restaurant (as of June 2024). Dropped out of top 50 unfortunately. Came here for lunch on Saturday. We chose the short tasting menu. I had to say all were excellent. I usually judge the restaurant by the bread and butter. I found bread was slightly tough. The butter was good but not outstanding. I also feel they should improve “the attention to detail of the whole dining experience”. Felt more like Michelin restaurant rather than world’s top 100. If you happen to experience in Tokyo or in Asia or Paris etc, you would understand. IFKYK

Went for our wedding anniversary. We had tasting menu with wine flight. Staff were very professional and attentive. Food was good. I thought the wine could have been more equal, as there were differences between my husband's and mine, with me always getting a shorter measure. Despite paying the same price for each of us. When we mentioned it to the sommelier she didn't seem to be interested. Higher end in terms of cost so you want it to meet your expectations.
