This little gem surpassed our expectations by a long mile. The food was absolutely delicious, from their fresh warm bread and dips down to the baklava! Every single dish was full of flavour and their portions are so generous. We ordered the Fes special platter which said it can feed 4 people. It comfortably fed 4 adults and two children and still had left overs! So glad i have discovered this place on our doorstep and we will definitely be back again! Thank you Fes for your hospitality.

Cosy and inviting little restaurant. The staff here were so friendly and welcoming, we felt like family! They accommodated us as a large family. Even gave two chocolate cakes for our little children as a compliment. The personal and professional service will no doubt make us return as well as the beautiful tasty fresh food! Thank you to all the staff! Have already recommended to friends đ

Came on a quiet weekday. Service was a little slow but not the end of the world and it was warm inside with the heaters which was a plus. Food was delicious but found a bug in my takeaway container which they happily exchanged. Wish they had sobolo available so I could comment on that but the didnât.

Not very busy at the time we went so this was great. Located along the high street a few bus stops from the elephant and castle station. The jollof platter meal was very tasty and highly affordable with loads of sides coming with it. The waiter was good but was quite distracted and took his time when fulfilling some tasks like taking payment. A decent size place and clean as much as it can be! If you are looking for tasty food or a quick bite, this is the place for you đđž

The food was delicious! We stumbled on this Mexican restaurant while exploring Elephant & Castle. What drew us in was the music outside the restaurant, the menu and the inside was atmospheric. The staff were also so, so friendly (shout out to Daniel who served us) and thank you for welcoming in our dog, Olivia. Daniel recommended the meat platter for two and the amount of food you get for the price is an absolute steal. We also had the beef empanadas as a starter and you could tell they were homemade. The food was delicious and I honestly felt like I was in Mexico with the atmosphere and food. This is going to now be my go-to restaurant. I recommend it to everyone!

I love this place! Excellent food and incredibly friendly staff. I shared the platter for two and it was gigantic and delicious! A selection of different meats, all cooked perfectly, and some yummy house-made sauces along with it. Will definitely be back! Edit: went back again and tried the chicken burger. So delicious!

Me and my partner always pass by this restaurant as we live just around the area. Finally, yesterday we gave it a try and we were just blown away about how beautiful the service and ambiance is. On top of that, we ordered a massive portion of a variety of meat on hot plate. So full and satisfied. We will definitely come back. -Jamie

I lived in London for years and, unfortunately, didnât have the chance to visit this restaurant until now. Itâs a beautiful place with super tasty food that will make you order more. We started with two shared appetizers: the musky octopus and fried macaroni pasta, both of which were delicious. For our main courses, we ordered two pasta dishes: spaghetti Nerano (with zucchini) and ziti with Genovese sauce (made with onion and meat). While the Nerano was perfect, the Genovese could use some improvement to enhance its flavour. For dessert, we enjoyed the pastiera (ricotta cake), which was nice and fresh. Our server, Daniele (the manager), was attentive and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food is delicious. The Burrata salad, which was the meal of the day, was very well made and fresh (very large portion as well). Mario was extremely friendly and helpful, we felt so welcomed. Our friend even got a free BLACK TOMATOOOOO! Will definitely come back!

Had a wonderful lunch here! Food is incredible. We had the paccheri with red fish and spaghetti alle vongole, both were absolutely delicious. I had the pleasure of dining here and was blown away by the exceptional cuisine! The steak was amazing, cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, while the bone marrow was rich, savory and indulgent. The Wellington stood out as the best I've ever had, with flawless execution. Additionally, the drinks, banana shake, and mashed potatoes with sauce were all delicious. Overall, the food quality was outstanding, showcasing impeccable attention to detail and the chef's skill and passion, making for an unforgettable culinary experience!

I came here with very high expectations that were not met. Seating was comfortable but not exceptional, we were in a corer with less vibe. One of our first courses came much later ( the staff apologized on own initiative and didnât charge for it !) Good quality meat but done more than we requested.

Outstanding experience. I had lunch here in mid-December and the food and service is incredible. The dining room is beautiful and is arranged so each table has a view of the kitchen. Nearly everything on the tasting menu is exceptional. The dishes have a good level of restraint applied to them so you end up with clean flavours and a clear display of the chefs' skill. With one exception, each course had a very strongly flavoured element - such as the pungent ginger in the sardine sashimi or the almond beurre noisette in the trout dish - which bought everything together in a well-balanced way. The best dish was the Orkney scallop with black truffle - great to see Scottish produce so prominent in a London restaurant. There were some hiccups, namely the dry-aged pork dish not being quite as good as the rest of the menu and the ice cream in the potato mouse being on the melted side - to be fair, the flavours were outstanding, and, as far as sweet and savoury desserts go, this was probably the best I've had. I didn't opt for the pairing but instead had a glass of champagne and Clos Lunelles from Bordeaux, which were both excellent recommendations from the sommelier. I don't think I can remember service at a restaurant being as good as it is here. If, like me, you haven't experienced something like it before, it's great fun to watch, and even better to experience in-person. The staff, whilst quite formal and professional, are very hospitable and accommodating, and do such an outstanding job in such an effortless way. The initial welcome is amazing if you've never experienced something like it before; going out of their way to greet you and make you feel comfortable, pulling your chair out, giving you a hot towel - I'm sure this is fairly standard for a lot of restaurants of this calibre but it was so special for me. The young members of the team are charming and very skilled for being at an early stage of their careers. Syah (I hope I spelled that right!) went the extra mile to make it a special experience. She is a star and was able to build rapport in such a natural way - I hope she goes far in hospitality because she's certainly got the talent for it! I would thoroughly recommend the Clove Club and if I had the money for it I would go there regularly.

Went for our wedding anniversary. We had tasting menu with wine flight. Staff were very professional and attentive. Food was good. I thought the wine could have been more equal, as there were differences between my husband's and mine, with me always getting a shorter measure. Despite paying the same price for each of us. When we mentioned it to the sommelier she didn't seem to be interested. Higher end in terms of cost so you want it to meet your expectations.

We went for a birthday dinner, and we couldn't have been happier. From the moment we walked into the dining room, the staff were warm and welcoming. The menu flowed at a great pace, and the dishes were executed perfectly, flavours were outstanding of every dish along with their descriptions. We must thank Em our Sommelier on the night and Paolo for their amazing hospitality throughout the night. We were super happy with the wine choice! It was truly memorable.

The Clove Club, situated in the historic Shoreditch Town Hall in London, has firmly established itself as a beacon of modern British cuisine. Since its inception, it has garnered significant acclaim, including a Michelin star in its first year and a second star thereafter, reflecting its commitment to excellence. **Ambience and Setting** Housed within the Grade II-listed Shoreditch Town Hall, The Clove Club exudes a minimalist yet welcoming atmosphere. The dining area is characterized by high ceilings and large windows, creating an airy environment that complements its open kitchen design. This layout allows diners to observe the meticulous preparation of their meals, fostering a sense of connection between the kitchen and the dining experience. The absence of traditional tablecloths and the presence of azure-tiled kitchen accents contribute to a relaxed yet refined setting. **Culinary Experience** Under the guidance of chef Isaac McHale, The Clove Club offers tasting menus that highlight seasonal British ingredients with innovative flair. Dishes such as buttermilk fried chicken, marinated in buttermilk for 24 hours and fried using tapioca and polenta flours, have been lauded for their exceptional flavor and texture . Another standout is the smoked wild Irish char paired with sour cream and rye, noted for its delicate balance and subtle smokiness . The restaurant's commitment to showcasing British produce is evident in its menu selections. For instance, dishes featuring white asparagus, monkfish, chicken, and Aylesbury duck are prepared with precision, though some critics have expressed a desire for more luxurious ingredients at this price point . **Service and Hospitality** The service at The Clove Club is often described as attentive and knowledgeable. Staff members, including sommeliers, are praised for their expertise and friendly demeanor. However, there have been instances where service missteps occurred, such as a venison sausage rolling off the grill and into a diner's lap, with the staff appearing flustered in their response . Overall, the service is generally well-received, contributing positively to the dining experience. **Beverage Pairings** The Clove Club offers wine pairings that are both unusual and interesting, enhancing the overall dining experience . Additionally, the restaurant provides tea pairings, though some diners have noted that the teas presented had a similar, weak profile, lacking the robustness expected from their descriptions . **Value and Pricing** Dining at The Clove Club is a premium experience, with tasting menus priced accordingly. Some patrons have expressed concerns regarding the value, particularly in relation to the luxury of ingredients used . Nevertheless, many diners find the innovative cuisine and overall experience to be worth the investment. **Conclusion** The Clove Club stands as a testament to modern British gastronomy, offering a dining experience that combines innovative cuisine with a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. While certain aspects, such as ingredient selection and beverage pairings, have received mixed feedback, the restaurant's commitment to showcasing seasonal British produce and delivering attentive service continues to attract both local and international patrons.

Gymkhana is an absolute gem in Londonâs dining scene. This Indian restaurant effortlessly combines traditional flavors with creative flair, offering a menu thatâs as exciting as it is delicious. Every dish feels meticulously crafted, bursting with bold spices and unexpected twists that keep you coming back for more. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between cosy and chic. Despite its upscale reputation, the vibe remains refreshingly unpretentious, making it a place where you can truly relax and enjoy the experience. The service is impeccableâattentive without being overbearing, with staff who are genuinely passionate about the food and eager to make your meal memorable. Gymkhana is a must-visit for anyone looking to savor the best of Indian cuisine in London.

Little did I know that Indian restaurants with 2 Michelin stars exist⌠Gymkhana impressed our group in many ways. The atmosphere and interior design of the restaurant is stunning and brings a posh and serene mood to us as guests. The staff is very professional and warm, they take all the time to let us come to the perfect choice for the menu. We had a hard time NOT choosing everything on the menu since there are so many interesting dishes listed. We were amazed by the wonderful flavours and presentation, with great wine advice from the sommelier. Hands down the best Indian high end dining experience Iâve enjoyed in my life so far.

I wasnât able to book in advance tickets for the Sky Garden, but this place is so pretty that we had to try to go up anyways. The staff was super kind telling us they were going to decide in a little bit if they could let people with no reservation get inside. We waited around 10â, then they let us at 11am. The place is amazing. Very worth the visit and getting coffee/drinks with one of the priceless views on London. Itâs very clean, organized and calm.

What an exceptional surprise to find that a rooftop of this caliber offers free access! Kudos to everyone who made this possible. The process of acquiring the free tickets was seamless, and the entry experience was well-organized, with the right level of security and efficient queue management. Once inside, we were greeted by a stunning and spectacular garden in the cloudsâtruly a sight to behold. What impressed me even more was the pricing at the bar. Youâd expect sky-high prices or to be bombarded with overpriced souvenirs, but that wasnât the case at all. The bar had accessible, reasonably priced options that made it easy to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. A must-visit destination in London, and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

Amazing 360 view of London. Itâs in 35th floor with viewing platform and green space. Tickets are mandatory to enter. Free tickets are also available in online for a certain time slot and date. Waiting time, including bag check is around 10 to 15 minutes. There are plenty of spaces, chairs and tables, coffee shops, and 2 restaurants in the upper floor. Well worth a visit.
