Very tasty food with relaxed but stylish atmosphere. The roti didn’t look to large but was incredibly filling, but my favourite was the Hot batrered squid as a starter.

I’ve dined here before and would happily return - the staff are Super friendly and accommodating & the vibes are lush. Delicious food (although I wish the naans / sides were larger portions)!

I spent 5 weeks in Sri Lanka earlier in the year so it was a real treat to find this place that did such delicious authentic Sri Lankan food, I had the hopper and Dahl!! I felt transported back, service was lovely and I love the addition of the tuktuk!

We throughly enjoyed everything about our evening at Fish Union last week. The seafood was some of the tastiest and well cooked I’ve ever had. The young girls who served us were very lovely, professional and thorough. Our favourites were definitely the Octopus and Seafood Bouillabaisse, everything was fresh, tasty & cooked to perfection. Only pointer would be that for the price, the prawns could be served as 4 instead of 3, since it is likely people will be sharing these small plates. Can’t wait to return!

Fancy some real fresh seafood without having to drive all the way to Dover or Folkestone? Look no further! Must try grilled tiger prawns, scallops and their octopus! Lobsters are very fresh and they also have a fish monger counter! We did order a little bit too much but it's rather hard make a choice! The only little letdown are their side dishes, the lettuce was too overgrilled, broccoli bit too oily and triple cooked chips was lacking some taste. But otherwise well done on the small dishes especially! Oh and as there isn't a door between kitchen and restaurant, it does tend to get a little bit 'smelly' so make sure you don't wear your most expensive outfit! Super friendly staff and owner, too!

We fancied a seafood lunch so looked up google to see what tickled our fancy. I found this restaurant and thought why not?! The restaurant itself was quite small with a fresh fish counter on display for those who wanted to buy fish/seafood to cook at home. We ordered from the lunch set menu and found it great value. The quality of food was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and was seasoned so well. Delicious! The bread which came with the mussels was so good alas I was so full that sadly I couldn't finish it! Even though it was just a quick small lunch.. it was possibly one of the best seafood meals I've had (even compared to some of the big names J sheekeys, Scotts, Riddle and Finn, Bentleys, Wright Bros...to name a few!). It was very very agreeable. Pure tasty food with lovely professional yet non pretentious service. We bought a bream from the fish counter to take home for the children's dinner. ...I can confirm that they loved it! The restaurant is not near to where we live but we will definitely be back again!!!

Popped in mid morning last weekend for breakfast. The bistro is lovely. The decor is fab and the atmosphere is relaxed. The breakfast was very good and the coffee lovely. The service was good. We will definitely go back. It's especially good to have an independent in Chislehurst which opens early every day. I hope Cafe Nene will be very successful and I for one will be supporting this lovely bistro.

We visited on a Tuesday evening - it wasn't terribly busy but still a nice atmosphere. The service was good and the portions generous. I had the shepherds lamb and my wife had kleftico- both very well cooked and good value for money - would recommend....

A real find. Excellent coffee in a decent sized cup. Very good value full English Breakfast or various other options . The service is friendly and welcoming. Decor is industrial/ rustic style and welcoming. Parking can be tricky but there is a car park behind the post office opposite . I am now a regular visitor.

A cozy and inviting place with a lovely Christmas atmosphere—perfect for starting your day. The prices are very reasonable and more affordable compared to other spots. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Best local Italian for sure! Dishes are amazing, especially the scallops and the calves livers! Very hard to find a restaurant that still serves that! Also make sure you don't book too late on the weekend as their best desserts were sold out by 10pm (profiteroles and Tiramisu) Desserts come on a trolley - old school ways. Great staff and good ambiance. Prices are fair, too. Thumbs up will return.

This is a family owned Italian restaurant owned by an Italian person, with a great ambience.. The food is amazing, always fresh and cooked well. The service is second to none. They always make you feel special and can't do enough for you. Great selection of hot and cold dishes, as well as fish and meat options. It is a very popular restaurant with the locals and gets really busy, so make sure to book a table.

They were fabulous accommodating a group of 8 and catering to the specifics of some. Having 2 Portuguese people at the table we were surprised to learn how much of the serving staff were as well. We had a good selection of the significant menu sardines, escargot, scallops etc etc and the a good selection of mains with a few bottles of Amarone. My sardines were over-grilled the risotto was medium and the osso buco not prepared traditionally was just not seasoned the way I am accustomed but was fabulously tender. The atmosphere although comfy was missy some Italian warmth in the decor. Would I got there again? ABSOLUTELY! Would I recommend it? ABSOLUTELY!

My friend and I had a brilliant night here last night. Great atmosphere. Tastefully decorated. All the staff were super warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The meats were melt-in-the-mouth incredible and the cheeses were exquisite. The wines we enjoyed were out of this world. We had gluten free bread and crackers. We ordered the Perfect Pair, Baked Camembert (best I have ever had) and garlic mushrooms. We very nearly finished it all. Will definitely be back! Such a fantastic addition to the High Street. I wish everyone at B & B every success in their new venture.

We recently hosted our friends farewell party at Board and Barrel in Chislehurst, hiring the upstairs space. From start to finish, the service was absolutely incredible. Kriti accommodated every single one of requests to make the evening personal and fun. It was a fantastic evening, and we can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for a venue with exceptional service, amazing food and drink, and wonderful hosts, look no further than Board and Barrel. Absolutely loved everything about this place. Came here with my mum for dinner and we had a board to share - the cheeses and meats were lovely and there were lots of options to choose from. We were really looked after from start to finish. Will definitely be back and recommending to all my friends. Thank you so much for having us.

We went here for lunch as it recently opened in town. The menu was great - the waiter was helpful in guiding us through the cheese options. We had a solo cheese board to share, along with five small plates. The food was exceptional, and the portions were very generous. We highly recommend trying the Sussex Brie drizzled with honey, the truffle mac and cheese, the Burrata, and the baked goat cheese

We love Fish Friday and last visited in November following my throat surgery as it was my dream goal to eat the delicious fish served here when I was being fed by a tube throughout the summer months. We came with friends and all 4 meals were outstanding. The service from Ella was excellent too. She was very kind and attentive and made the evening special. Can't wait to come back for more beer battered haddock. It really is the best I've ever eaten. Thank you for helping me to achieve my goal 🙏 ❤

What a perfect pub...this is without a doubt one of the best, most historic pubs in the area. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and we're greeted by a welcoming, attentive team who clearly take incredible pride in running the pub. The decor is unbelievable and the owners have made sure the 1700's historic pub has been kept beautifully. There is a great selection of drinks including a very reasonable wine list and some great real ales. The food is exceptional and way above a "standard" pub offering. The whole menu is fantastic but the burgers really stand out and should definitely be tried when visiting. A huge thanks to Alan and the team for a great visit, here's to many more.

Had an exceptional roast dinner at the Imperial Arms. So impressed. Staff were super friendly and lovely. Especially Ella who took our booking and went out of her way to book a nice table for my partners birthday. Already planning when we will go back we had such a good time.

This pub provided the perfect intimate setting for dinner with friends and family, with attentive, welcoming staff and delicious food! You can tell that every dish is made with fresh, quality ingredients and served with great care. Will definitely be coming here again- to any newcomers, I recommend the steak!

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food. Chicken Kyiv is a must! Staff are all pleasant and helpful. Decor create a fine European atmosphere. Oleks was very helpful.

We had a decent meal here. Food was tasty. It was my first time trying Ukrainian food but the waitress was helpful with guidance and advice. The honey cake in particular was very good. The restaurant was initially a bit chaotic with a children's birthday party but they soon finished, so it was fine. We would like to go back again to try more dishes. Parking is available on the high street or in the nearby car park (RingGo).

How have we not been here before? Amazing service from wonderful staff who are always smiling and so helpful. Maybe it’s the live music on a Saturday night, the dancing or just the super tasty Ukrainian fare with phenomenal wines to match. I celebrated my birthday here and couldn’t be happier with the experience! The food was super delicious, and there’s so much to choose from on the menu. My friends and I all ordered different dishes, and everyone loved what they got. The best part? They surprised me with a slice of cake and a candle—such a sweet and unexpected touch! The service was great too, and we’ll definitely be coming back again. Can’t wait for the next visit!

Had a pleasant sunday afternoon's dining here. This restaurant is extremely popular and has a comfortable feel with a good atmosphere. I went for the special menu as the rest of my party went for the set Sunday lunch deal. Firstly the wild bour ravioli. Which was ok but lacked flavours and very oily. Next I had the fish special of halibut, King prawns served with garlic spinach and capers. This dish was delicious and excellently presented. I'll combined this with some seasonal vegetables. Dessert was a mango cheese cake which was very nice. I had a nibble of my partner's sirloin of beef which was tasty..roast potatoes needed to be more crisper. Good wine but bottled lager only Would return Parking outside limited

The steak, which was exceptionally tender and juicy, cooked to perfection, and every bite was truly memorable. The lasagna was another exquisite dish, with perfectly layered pasta and rich, flavorful sauce, offering a delightful taste and texture. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and responsive to our needs. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. Throughout the meal, we felt thoroughly cared for and warmly welcomed. Overall, this is an Italian restaurant that excels in both food and service. I highly recommend it to any food lover, and I'm confident you'll have a wonderful dining experience just as I did.

Excellent home cooked traditional foods. Plenty of selections of all 3 courses if desired. Probably the best place to get a Sunday roast with generous portions and extremely good value for money. Its also bring your own alcohol with corkage at just £3.50 for wines, soft drinks are available. Staff are polite, professional and attentive. Great surroundings and there's parking available. Limited opening times in the week. Take away now available but best to give 24h notice for Sunday collections

Had a lovely Sunday roast here today. Christmas decorations and music made it feel so cosy. The roasts were delicious, the beef tender and you got plenty of sides, we all left very full. The lady serving us was also lovely. Highly recommend if you enjoy traditional English setting and food.

A jewel we found today🩵 I absolutely adored the place which was situated opposite a stables. It’s a dated farm building with antiques around for interiors, open kitchen and the food was fantastic. We had Salmon and Lamb Shank! Recommend all to try! Compliment to the chef 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The waitress was lovely, attentive. Get well soon though! As she was a little limping. I understand the menu is changeable, but having a guidance price would be better. We didn’t mind, but saw some posts which rated this restaurant down had this reason on. We were there on a Saturday afternoon around 14:30 and not seats were full. Food was brought fast and in standard. An abundant of healthy, vegetarian sides with each meal. We had two adult and one 3yo, two dishes filled us very well. 🅿️ Parking available just outside the restaurant. It was v easy for us to find.

AMAZING FOOD!!! Best mother's day meal we have had.... If love a pudding you won't be disappointed with the choice. So much meat with the main. Definitely recommend. You can also bring your own alcohol which keeps your bills down as well.

A quiet Thurs night in the restaurant - we had the Jan set menu. Starters were good (scotch egg & Waldorf salad) but we both had the steak for main which was disappointing. A sad little steak with a cluster of fries. Not even a watercress leaf to brighten the plate up! Fortunately the waitress was exceptional and brightened up the restaurant :)

We stayed at the Bulls Head, Chislehurst for a week over Christmas. We stayed in a wonderfully comfortable room (Room 11). The breakfasts and dinners were fantastic. (We had lunches elsewhere while visiting friends.) Christmas lunch was out of this world. Compliments to the chef! Staff are all so friendly and professional. Amy and Melanie were just delightful. I can highly recommend this hotel and hope to come back next year.

I have just celebrated my 60th birthday at the Bulls Head Hotel and can’t express my sincere gratitude to all the staff for making the function room look amazing. Jayne is such a wonderful lady and went out of her way to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and the service first class. I can’t recommend the venue enough. One of my favourite places to celebrate. Thank you all so much.
