The food is great and I find your food and drink good value for money and the atmosphere is more elevated than the prices, which is nice. My main reason for visiting is however the good quality gluten-free menu that's based more on naturally gluten-free foods over using substitute gf products, as they don't suit me very well due to intolerances. I love how safe I feel eating at yours and I have a lot to choose from.

We stayed at The Crown this weekend with our 10 week old baby. This was his first trip away from home and we were very worried about how well he would sleep. Needless to say we shouldn’t have worried as we all slept through the night! The room was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, the service was brilliant and location fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

I organised a surprise party for my wife at The Crown. Mario and his team could not have been more helpful, supportive or friendly during the planning and the event. The function room was a great space, the food was delicious and the setting is perfect. Thank you for a brilliant party.

Really fantastic Sunday lunch, the best I’ve had out for ages - both starter and main was top drawer. Service was also excellent - we were a large party with 4 young children, and Evie was great. This will be my go-to in Chislehurst from now on - it surpasses The Bull.

A quiet Thurs night in the restaurant - we had the Jan set menu. Starters were good (scotch egg & Waldorf salad) but we both had the steak for main which was disappointing. A sad little steak with a cluster of fries. Not even a watercress leaf to brighten the plate up! Fortunately the waitress was exceptional and brightened up the restaurant :)

I have just celebrated my 60th birthday at the Bulls Head Hotel and can’t express my sincere gratitude to all the staff for making the function room look amazing. Jayne is such a wonderful lady and went out of her way to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and the service first class. I can’t recommend the venue enough. One of my favourite places to celebrate. Thank you all so much.

Went on Friday night, with work friends. We pre-booked a cabin in the garden, which seated eight people. We had a couple of drinks, and was intending to order food, but the menu had been updated, and some items had changed from the menu shown online, and was no longer available. So the group decided to eat somewhere else. The pub was very busy (Friday night), there is a carpark which was full . Good atmosphere. We enjoyed our drinks. Thanks

Really lovely food and excellent friendly service. The desserts were well worth having as was the lychee martini, And most importantly it’s “well behaved dog friendly” - fantastic; we don’t have to feel guilty going out now!

Thank you so much to everyone at Cinnamon Culture, I had a meal on Saturday celebrate ny 50th birthday with 26 friends. From the moment I booked the table I couldn’t have asked for better service leading up to the event and then on the night, the service was incredible, food perfect and we all had a wonderful night. Everything here is 5 stars! We have food allergies and asked the wonderful chef if they could accommodate us. He and his team prepared everything from scratch just for us. I left this place with tears in my eyes! And it wasn't just Vindaloo :)) Such a beautiful place filled with truly kind people.

We had our Mums 60th Birthday party last night at The Queens Head and what a brilliant night it was, The Buffet was delicious and they accommodated for our needs perfectly. The staff was super understanding with the 2 Autistic guests we had with us, one is extremely loud and the other a little boy who just needed some quiet space and all was made to feel extremely welcome which we are always so grateful for. Thank you so much to the team at The Queens Head and the cover staff on that day as it was a brilliant day.

If you find yourself in the Chislehurst area. I recommend this pub over all the others. It's reasonably priced. The staff behind the bar are brilliant. The beer garden is one of the biggest in south London. Especially in summer, the whole environment is electric. Do yourself a favour and check out this fantastic pub.

We had an engagement party for our son and his fiancee at this pub yesterday. Ash and his team were brilliant and very attentive. We were given a section of the pub with the fireplace in it and it was perfect for 10 adults and 1 child. They let us decorate the space how we wanted to. We chose the gold buffet but unfortunately, on the day there were certain items not available and therefore had to go for the silver buffet, but Ash couldn't apologise enough and made sure the extra wings ordered were not charged for, and in the end there was more than enough food and it was all delicious. Our guests all commented on how lovely it was. So a big thank you to all the staff for making it such a happy occasion 😊 x

Went out for dinner with a friend. This was by far, THE best restaurant experience I've had this year! It was perfect from the get go. The service, brilliant! The cocktails, amazing! The food, delicious!!! The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. The service quick. The Maître D, added that little special touch, by saying he was putting us at this romantic, table by the window (really set the mood for the rest of the evening:p), which it was! My favourite was the beef fillet with the truffle mash. It was tender!!! The truffle mash, just as good as mine :p. My friend had the venison, and said it was fantastic! Their house gin was delicious. Definitely on my list for a revisit. I cannot rate the Service enough!!! Great job!!!

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday. The food was incredible, as was the service. Big thanks to Glinda (she knows) :) The high price per person was because we had lots of wine and extras. It was so cosy in their upstairs dining room we didn’t want to leave. Cannot recommend this place enough, will definitely be back soon!

It is a local bar restaurant I really like to come with friends. Delicious food, nice people, good ambiance. We came today for lunch with friends again. All good as always. And for an incident that happened unexpectedly, I really appreciated the restaurant manager and a blond tall guy’s patience and problem-solving attitude. To short of long, it was my bad to mistake my son’s coat when rushing out from home which I didn’t realise. I hung it on the chair when seated in the restaurant. Then the blond guy helped pick it up and hang on the clothes stand when seeing it falling on the floor. When we were ready to leave, I couldn’t find my own coat and was worried. The restaurant manager checked the cctv and suggested some next step actions patiently. In the end he showed me the footage where I found I took the wrong coat from home. Really sorry about my own mistake which caused their inconvenience. Very impressed by their customer oriented attitude. Much appreciated!

What an amazing place, a great manager, and she was a wonderful host for the sad occasion, and the staff team was amazing. We attended a friends wake. The food and the service were a class. I massive thank to the chef and the kitchen staff. Thank you guys. We will be back for a drink and something to eat.

A lovely pub which is well run. I've visited here many times over the years and always had a pleasant afternoon/evening. There's 2 bar areas, a large side which shows sports. The other the smaller side which we call the old bar is a bit more relaxed and seem to have a older crowd. Both sides are welcoming. They are some good large function rooms with garden and catering available which I've attended in the past for wedding receptions. Staff are polite and attentive. Its been a while since I've eaten here so can't review the food or the hotel rooms unfortunately. Off street parking available.

Visited with friends and we all had delicious food. The flavours were incredible. There are lots of great options for vegan mains and sides. Only one vegan dessert on the menu. Disappointing that there are no alternative milks available, we then went elsewhere for coffee afterwards

We had a great dinner tonight. All dishes were very good and service was excellent. We were celebrating my father’s birthday and the waiter was so nice to light up his lighter for him (sorry to forget to ask his name). Brandi was also very friendly and sweet. We would love to visit again!

This was my second visit to Giggling Squid in Chislehurst, and I have to say, it’s quickly becoming a favourite. I’ve eaten at countless places and tried squid dishes all over, but hands down, this place serves the best salt and pepper squid I’ve ever had! It’s perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of crunch—one of those dishes that leaves you craving more. The service was also spot-on. The staff was warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home. They’ve really got a knack for creating a welcoming vibe, which is a big part of why I’d come back. Now, as much as I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, there was a bit of… shall we say, “extra excitement” at the table next to us. The kids there seemed to have a mind of their own, and despite their parents’ best efforts, they weren’t exactly quiet dinner companions. Let’s just hope for a bit of luck with our seating next time! Overall, Giggling Squid has secured its spot as our go-to in the area. For anyone who appreciates friendly service and top-notch squid, this place is a must. I am looking forward to my next visit (hopefully with quieter neighbours)!

Had a great dinner hear, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was also excellent, having been to Thailand the food certainly tasted authentic. Restaurant is nicely decorated!

Visited on Christmas Day with my adult children & grandchildren. Olga was exceptional & spent time prior to our visit helping me place everyone’s orders. On the day she came over to our table to welcome us and check we were all happy. The food was the best by far. Everything was cooked from fresh and presented perfectly Definitely will return & highly recommend

Went there for Sunday lunch, the service was very good with the food for all five of us arriving only a little over 5mins after ordering. Portions were very generous, and no complaints on the food.

Beautiful pub. It’s very local to me so don’t know why I don’t go more often. I’d been once years ago but not seen the back and how roomy it is. Was very cost quiet on a festive midweek afternoon catching up with a friend. Only complaint is that not all of the cocktails on the website were on the menu at the venue. I’ve already booked to try the Sunday roast.
