We opted for the tasting menu at lunch which offered a variety of beautifully presented dishes of authentic French cooking. Standout dishes were the squash veloute, hake and the passion fruit tarte. The restaurant had a buzzing atmosphere and service was perfect.

Having been on my bucket list for some time, we managed to get a last minute reservation for my wife’s birthday. The welcome was very friendly and when shown to our table, not only was there birthday confetti on the table but they had also personalised the menu. You already know from these little touches, it is going to be a great evening. The food was outstanding. I had the soft boiled egg salad to start and the grilled octopus with saffron risotto for the main. I could not fault either dish. My wife and daughter had the roasted loin of beef for the main with a side of mash. ‘Heaven on a plate, was my wife’s response whilst my daughter couldn’t stop devouring the mash. We all chose different desserts and once again, faultless. The waiting staff were extremely attentive and friendly which all helped to make a very memorable dining experience. We will certainly return. Exceptional service with exceptional food. Highly recommend.

Absolutely divine. We had the most wonderful experience here. The service is outstanding. The food was sublime and beautifully presented. We went for the tasting menu and dined in on a Friday night. Cannot fault it at all and we found it to be better than some of the Michelin star restaurants we have been to. The cod and venison dishes were standouts but every single dish was a revelation. To echo some of the other reviews here, this restaurant thoroughly deserves a Michelin star. We'd love to see it happen!

Exquisite Meal at The French Table last night! All I can say is truly a “Chef’s Kiss” is deserved and more! This talented Chef should be awarded a Michelin Star ⭐ From the moment you walk in you’re so warmly greeted. They are all about the details… staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. Celebrating a birthday - was made to be pretty spectacular - I am a well travelled person… I have eaten in some amazing restaurants. The combination of ingredients and presentation was really impressive.

Best Indian restaurant I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot! Spice levels are on point and you can really tell the ex-head chef of Gymkhana is at work. All of the suppliers are apparently the same as well. When you factor in that Koyal is half the price, if not less, than Gymkhana, then you almost wish you could give it more than 5 stars. Lightyears ahead of almost every Indian restaurant in London. Service was also impeccable. For those that need the info, the restaurant was entirely wheelchair accessible and we were well catered for. A meal worth traveling for!

Popped in for a bite to eat Christmas eve afternoon and a house special Negroni... Five Stars as always.... Have now been three times and will probably visit once a month it's that good. Staff are very professional and take great pride in their work making you feel very welcome. Visited again tonight. Was rammed. Can't over praise the food is so good. here last night the food in incredible and unique, the service warm and personal, the overall experience 5 Stars. Easily the best Indian in Surbiton and Kingston and from a Michelin star Chef who I was lucky to meet briefly. Very highly recommended. Great bespoke cocktails as well.

Went for dinner last night, it was incredible. The lamb chops were sublime. Crab curry super interesting and unusual also great. Loved the boar and their naans are perfect. Amazing Indian - seriously good. Lovely drinks, cocktails and wines too. 10/10!

Absolutely delicious dinner for Valentines Day! It was our first time eating out in 4 months since the birth of our son and it didn’t disappoint. We shared 4 dishes (including desert) between the two of us and left full and content. Background music, friendly staff and atmosphere all added to the experience, you really wouldn’t know you were on a main road. Love that the menu changes regularly as means we will be back soon.

Incredible meal at Trinca. Love the intimate vibe of only a few covers and the excellent wine selection. The food was fresh and tasted incredible - I also like that the chef each week showcases different regions of Italy in his menu and the ingredients and flavours from that region. There is clearly a lot of passion and thought that goes into the food and you can tell the pride he has of showcasing the food from his country. We booked immediately to go again next week because we enjoyed it that much. Can’t speak highly enough of this hidden neighbourhood gem!

We popped in on a Friday night for drinks and a dessert and it was absolutely wonderful. We were also given some focaccia which was the best focaccia I’ve ever eaten. The dessert of apple cake came with a Prosecco custard which was just glorious. Absolutely delicious and can’t wait to go back.

This new restaurant on Maple Road was superb for the flavours, textures, choice and quality of food. The amuse bouche and petit fours were a nice touch too. The cocktails were a generous size too. The waitress was attentive and when I asked for a dessert off menu (dairy intolerant), they accommodated immediately and with a super little sorbet and meringue dish.

What a wonderful evening at MEMs! We passed by and so glad that we stopped and went in! The food was exquisite and the service extremely friendly, inclusive of my allergies and impeccable! This is our 1st and definitely not our last! Thanks to the whole team for making our evening!

Great new place. Young staff clearly putting in effort and wildly great value on the set course menu. £45 for 3 courses of beautiful looking food that tastes even better than it looks. fab. Engaging staff and very fairly priced wine menu. Shame to see it so quiet. But I’m sure it will be busier in time!

Well, we popped out for lunch today and came here. I must say what a great decision that was firstly what friendly polite staff gave us a warm welcome even though it was our first time here the food we had was from the lunch menu which was our choice which there isn't a great selection but was absolutely lovely. The main menu has so much more on offer, which we will be trying on our next visit. The owner, who was there, has a friendly way, which all the staff have, so I would highly recommend going here for lunch or your evening meal with friends as sharing would mean you can try even more of there lovely food and value for your money 👍👏so well done to you all for the warm welcome and good service you gave us today.

I visited Bamanoosh Persian Kitchen tonight with two Turkish friends, and it was truly a memorable dining experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a relaxing evening with friends. We ordered kebabs and rice, and I have to say, the flavors were exceptional. The kebabs were tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully, and the rice had a unique, authentic taste that made it stand out from any we’d tried before. The food quality was top-notch, and every dish had an attention to detail that showed a real passion for Persian cuisine. The portions were generous, and we felt that the prices were very reasonable for the high quality we received. It’s clear Bamanoosh uses fresh ingredients and authentic techniques, which made every bite delicious. We all left full and happy, already talking about coming back soon. If you’re looking for genuine Persian flavors in a comfortable and welcoming environment, Bamanoosh is a must-try! I just informed that there is live music as well so definitely I will come back in the near future.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bamanoosh restaurant in London on a Sunday afternoon with my mum. The food was nothing short of amazing, truly a 10/10. As an Iranian, I felt transported back to Iran with every bite. The authenticity and flavors were spot on. The customer service was exceptional—every staff member was attentive and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, capturing the essence of Persian culture perfectly. The addition of Persian souvenirs available for purchase added a delightful touch to our visit. I highly recommend Bamanoosh to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Persian dining experience. We had a marvellous time and will definitely be returning!

One of the restaurants I like the most in local Surbiton. Sardines are clean and grilled very well with herbs. Fish and liver are fresh and soup is rich of taste. Foods are always good and staff are nice.

Lovely lively restaurant, great value for money for Greater London. Quirky fun service from waiter. He was humorous which added fun to our evening. I had king scallops wrapped in bacon which was okay but not as good as I hoped. Followed by Mamma Spaghetti which was prawn in a slightly spicy tomato sauce which was excellent, highly recommended. Good selection of wine at reasonable prices. Overall great night out.

We were a corporate party (10+) on the evening of 20/9/24. The service and food was excellent and all arrived timely and at the same time. Sadly I am not an Italian food lover so I had the sirloin steak with chunky chips. Delicious. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Cheers Graham

This has been unchanged for years. Great flavours of traditional Italian dishes, with good portions and great friendly service. You can tell the staff love what they are doing. Happy to host an event too, adding lots of nice little touches.

Great food, all dishes were tasty! Customer service was above average depends on how busy it is, the ambience was very Bulgarian I enjoyed being there. Will go back in the future!

Simply a find and it needs more than just a mention. I personally like those kind of surprises. It is not a Michelin Star restaurant, the music is way to loud, the bass is way to uncertain. But the food even if half of it would be frozen, it still takes you by surprise, shakes you panties and vibrate your shocks....this restaurant should be full of curious epicurians looking for a new challenge. Trying some new foods. If not you can still get an awesome T-bone for £13 on Tuesday special. If that does not tickle your fancy. Try the £7.00 mix grill special on Thursday. Do not forget the zucchini greek style for starter it is a must....keep exploring people and keep sharing the love.

I ordered the mix grill and the quality of the meat was really good. The chicken was marinated very well and the sausages was really tasty.

Delicious, top notch vegan food and exceptionally attentive service - especially Jane and Anastasia who were serving us! Also super pet friendly - Anastasia brought water and fresh chicken for our dog plus he received some lovely cuddles from her too. 100% recommended xx

Melissa was an exceptional waitress to our small group. Our first choice of cocktail drinks was unavailable and she was a master mixologist in coming up with an alternative that was liked by all. Excellent friendly service with a smile.

Food was next level ! I believe it to be a new menu and I hope the chefs keep up their enthusiasm the same way they’ve created this menu and delivered it. All the time it’s like this I’ll be coming back non stop ! Well done to the chefs and front of house.

I had a really good experience as a vegetarian. The menu had a nice range of options, which is always a relief. Anastasia, was fantastic. She was super friendly, made sure I had all the info I needed about the vegetarian options, and even suggested a few things based on what I liked. If you're in the area and looking for a good pub with solid veggie choices, I’d definitely recommend The Grove. And if you’re lucky enough to be served by Anastasia, you’re in good hands!

I recently dined at Allegros and had their grilled sea bass, which was absolutely fantastic. The fish was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor with a light, crispy skin. The seasoning was just right, enhancing the natural taste of the sea bass without overpowering it. Paired with fresh sides, it made for a well-balanced, delightful meal. The presentation was beautiful, and the portion was generous. Highly recommend for seafood lovers!

Love this place. Real good service and great food. Always consistant with their food on the menu. Prawn starters and lamb chops were probably the best I have ever had.

I recently dined at a small Italian restaurant where the squid was the highlight—perfectly cooked and flavourful. The pasta was good, though not outstanding, and the pizza fell short of expectations. Service was friendly but a bit disorganised. Despite not being busy, the server asked us to repeat our order and brought the wrong drink. The restaurant is also quite small, with tables uncomfortably close together. While the food was enjoyable, the tight space and service hiccups didn’t fully justify the higher prices. Overall, a decent experience but room for improvement.

Came here for a big birthday with 14 of us and everything was superb. Staff are super friendly and service was outstanding. Food was very authentic and the Tiramisu was one of the best 👌 - highly recommend

Absolutely stunning food. We had a fantastic night at Cento Uno with friends recently. A very busy restaurant but staff are so friendly and welcoming. You didn't feel rushed at all. I'd really recommend the Cabonara dish and the Salsicci. We didn't get pizza, but it looked incredible. Great price for everything and looking forward to going there again.
