We asked Laszlo to repair our windowsill, repaint front of the house and clean pvc. We’d never used him before but decided to after seeing the good reviews. He first came round to visit the house to discuss the plan. I liked his attitude and clarity. He then came back in a few weeks when he was next free. True to his word he took 2 days to complete the job. It was done to a very high quality standard, we’re really pleased with his work. It was also a reasonable price. Very personable and good communication. So satisfying when you find a carpenter / handyman who you can trust. Will definitely use Laszlos services in the future. 5 stars. Thanks!

Laszlo installed new engineered wood flooring, releveled floor in one room, changed skirting boards and installed new doors for us. He did a great job, especially with the bay window and considering all doors needed adjusting due to the age of the building. Laszlo is on time, polite and tidy! He takes great care and pride in his work and we will use him again in future!

Las completely fixed and restored our wooden bay windows and installed our wooden garage doors. His craftsmanship is excellent plus he got all the jobs finished exactly on time - as he said he would. Really pleased with all the work.

This is a company that takes FULL responsibility for its workers. So if there’s a problem, no hesitation in sorting and remedying it. I commissioned a desk from Antony. He was very imaginative and easy to work with on the bespoke design. His craftsmanship and attention to detail was exemplary and I love the end result.

Very impressed. In a day and age of mostly slapdash instead of carpentry or proper joinery, this was the real deal at very reasonable prices especially for the quality delivered. Worked with my poorly drawn plans and delivered a fitted unit of book cases and television console that perfectly fit the room in lovely veneers that make it look ten times more expensive. I did look at DIY and even Ikea alternatives to build something similar and this was extraordinarily better and much more enduring. Highly recommended.

Adrian built a large wardrobe for us. The attention to detail was second to none. He always checked in with us at every stage to ensure we were happy. Adrian is a very professional, reliable and friendly person and we would highly recommend him. We would not hesitate to have him back in future.

Excellent work by James and his team (Max, Chris and Attila). We had a number of custom units designed, built, fitted and painted by James Carpentry and we love them all! The team were punctual, polite, clean and have great attention to detail - they clearly take pride in their work. The quality and finish is excellent. It was a pleasure to have them at our home. We were impressed by how quickly they came round to do measurements, their patience with all our questions and the overall time it took to get everything done. Attaching some photos of their work! Update October 2021: We liked our custom shelves/cabinets so much that we had James Carpentry return to install fitted wardrobes in the bedroom (blue wardrobes pictured below). Once again, they did an amazing job and it looks brilliant. Installation and painting was once again done very professionally and in a clean and timely manner. July 2021: We recently bought a flat which didn't have much storage space in it, but had two large alcoves in the living room. After a search of local carpenters, I came across James Carpentry. It is an amazing business and they were so professional from start to finish. Very prompt to answer the initial enquiry and to take measurements/send the designs. During installation and painting, they were very careful to ensure no mess was created/left behind and did a beautiful job. We originally wanted to have completely symmetrical shelves but on installation day they showed us a few options and we ended up liking the asymmetrical style more - which they accommodated! We are so pleased with the final result and will definitely be using James Carpentry again - already put in an enquiry about bedroom storage!

Paul did 3 jobs for us - installing a wardrobe, wall to wall office desk and media shelving. Work quality is high, very polite, hard-working and good value. Would definitely recommend.

I woul love to give 20 stars if I could. I need transform my Mercdes sprinter into a mobile beauty salon and Paul did a amazing job. It was a big risk for me putting my big project in someone hands and I knew It was his first job converting a van. He exceed my expectations. When I was not sure about things, he alwyas end up coming with ideas. He is very honesty, hard working, perfectionist and efficient. You would not be disappointed by choosing him.
