We recently had our Terrace and raised Decking replaced plus other areas in our garden and we are so pleased that we commissioned Andy and Rhys to carry out the work. What a team and just the kindest and most respectful people ( who are now friends) to have in your home and garden. They are totally trustworthy, professional, cheerful, cost saving with honest guidance and a strong moral compass; their attention to detail in their craftsmanship is outstanding. Their quotes were fair, particularly when coming across hidden problems that needed addressing alongside recycling whatever existing materials were useable. Andy and Rhys did a phenomenal job installing custom panelling in the hallway, landings and a bedroom of our house- see ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos attached. They worked very efficiently and were meticulous in their approach to the job which was not straightforward by any means. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome which looks better than we could have imagined from the outset. Andy and Rhys really went above and beyond expectations. We’re super happy with all of the work completed by custom carpentry at our little primary school in Barnet. We required a number of doors to be fitted along with all the framing and a stud wall in one of our classrooms, the attention to detail, quality of work and materials was really impressive and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these guys for any further carpentry work. Andy and Rhys were really attentive, punctual and very easy to get along with. Nothing was too much hassle and they consulted with us fully along the way. A great team of guys doing quality work. Just had an amazing floor-to-ceiling cupboard made by West London Carpentry and can highly recommend them for any carpentry service needed. They build made-to-measure and the process is very straight forward. They have a lot of experience and are excellent at giving advice/ideas as well as listen to any requests you have. The fitting went seamlessly and the finishing has been done exceptionally well. We are very happy with the result and can highly recommend Tim and his team. I cannot recommend West London Carpentry enough. From start to finish they have been a dream to work with. Tim and Lazslo did a great job interpreting our design – which was quite complex given the awkward area, however we are delighted with the results. The carpenter and decorator were lovely – extremely polite and professional and have done a fantastic job. I cannot recommend WLC enough – I have been showing off our new study / storage area to everyone who visits and our friends and family are all amazed with the results. Great value for money too. We will be using WLC again for future carpentry projects.

Absolutely stunning work, higher than my expectations! Working with Tim and Steve on the design really helped as they ended up giving me far more of an aesthetic look to my media wall. I had quite a few intricate design ideas and they were all executed flawlessly. Not to forget, the whole team were so kind, friendly and super tidy. I had been looking for a while to get some alcove cupboards and shelves made and after speaking to a few companies I decided to hire John for the work. The final product is of exceptional quality and John was able to install it all within one day. It has transformed our living room! John was great in giving advice on shelves and depth of cupboards and his communication throughout the process was excellent. I would highly recommend John. John McMullen's work is truly outstanding. He is a complete perfectionist, and the work is done to the highest possible standard, on time, on budget, tidily and always with a smile. We have had the following things made: wardrobes (for 5 bedrooms) made, bookcases, a TV cabinet, window seats and radiator covers. We have never had a problem and some years later, the items still look like new. We cannot recommend John highly enough.

Rafal came by recommendation and has now done several jobs for us fitting custom cupboards in living room and utility, remodelled some of our kitchen and fitted over 70m3 of wooden floor. Rafal's workmanship is to a high standard, I am happy with the under stairs storage he made and fitted. Communication was a bit tricky initially (and I was really adamant I wanted Rafal to do this job for us, after seeing his amazing portfolio!), once we passed that I can't fault him for the job done. I also have to say Rafal is a perfectionist and wasn't fully satisfied with how the door was installed, so he found a way to make it work better even if that meant a couple more hours of work. Reliable, tidy, polite and a great work done! Thanks, Rafal (and sorry the review came in so late!).

This is the second time we’ve used Doug’s services and had another great experience. Doug is very easy to work with, he takes time to understand your requirements and works to a very high standard, leaving the space clean and tidy each day. Nothing is too much trouble, even when I changed my mind on the colour, Doug was happy to re-paint the wardrobes to make sure we were 100% happy with the finish! He built most of them in his workshop, so was only at our house for 2 days, and was no disruption at all. Doug left the house dust free. ELB’s in-demand carpentry service is certainly worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier with the work they have done installing new floating shelves and a built-in laundry unit. Through each stage of the process, Peter was excellent and extremely helpful, he visited our site and perfectly understood what we were aiming for, he provided a digital design sketch for the project and made multiple revisions and suggestions until we were happy with the final design. The fit and finish was perfect, he even spray painted the cabinets in the colours we had chosen and was able to fit everything in just one day. TLDR; Nigel Delivers Quality Carpentry with Excellent Communication. Nigel is a skilled carpenter who stood out from the other carpenters in the local area contacted for a small job. Out of the 15 carpenters contacted, only three responded, but Nigel's communication was prompt and efficient. He responded quickly to the initial message and offered a competitive quote via email by using pictures. After agreeing on the job, he corrected the persistent problem with the kitchen cupboard doors by adding repair kits and additional hinges. The job was completed within a few hours with zero mess and zero hassle to the tenants. Throughout the project, Nigel's communication was exceptional, and he kept me updated on his progress. He even took the time to reach out halfway through the job to provide an update on the work's status. The tenants were happy with the end result, and they appreciated the fact that there was no mess or disruption during the repair work. We were delighted with the fitted wardrobes that Mariusz in our bedroom. He listened to what we wanted and made some really good suggestions that greatly improved the whole look of the wardrobes. They are beautiful and every time I enter the bedroom they make me smile. We then asked Mariusz to fit units either side of our fireplace so that we had storage space but within a setting that improved the look of our living room/dinning area. Again, he came to the house, listened to all the ideas that we had and suggested some of his own, which made for beautifully designed cabinets that are a feature of our living room and are greatly admired by friends and family. We absolutely love them. My husband and I would highly recommended this company, the men were hardworking, polite and after both installations our home was left spotlessly clean.

M&S Carpentry has done an amazing job for us. From start to finish it has been a pleasure to work with them. I had a clear idea of what I wanted, which was a little unusual because I wanted to hide an en-suite behind wardrobes and have the doors open inwards. I had spoken to a number of firms who had all said they couldn't or didn't want to do it as it was out of the ordinary. M&S Carpentry were great from the start, they got what I wanted to achieve and helped make that vision a reality. They advised on finishes and approach and it was a real team effort. The job was reasonably priced and they were able to meet my quite quick timetable with ease. The job was delivered on time and on budget and the quality and attention to detail is exceptional. I could not be more happy with the end product. It is exactly as I imagined and I am thrilled with it. Mauriusz built bespoke wardrobes in our bedroom in January 2025 in Hertfordshire and a record bench in our bay window. His work is fantastic and we are so happy and have received many compliments. Mario is extremely professional, has great design input, the work was completed in a timely manner and he was very clean and tidy. We will definitely use this company for future house upgrades.
