We have a difficult to make use of small boiler room in our flat. In need of more storage space we got in touch with Solid Carpentry. They did such an excellent job from start to finish. We can now finally store all of our luggage and random things and the room actually feels bigger now. Well done on getting the shelves fitted in such small awkward spaces. And thank you for your excellent consultation, always fast and helpful communication and superb work you did in the room. Dmitriy and his team are first class. I would highly recommend using Solid Carpentry for any of your requirements. He helped us design the perfect living room and storage in our small porch area. Everything was built to measure in his workshop and brought to our home and fitted in a very efficient manor. We love the final result and his attention to detail is impeccable.

Solid Carpentry designed and installed a custom, built-in bookcase with a hidden door for me. Dmitriy was responsive, open & clear about what to expect (including considerations we had not thought of), took a lot of care and demonstrated real pride in his work - which made the whole process very enjoyable. Excellent job!! I contacted these guys in the morning and they was able to mount my tv the same day. Showed up on time and superb customer service. Kept my living room mess free which is a plus as i have a toddler (there was only dust from the drilling which was expected and was tidy up after) Super happy with the job and my tv looks fab on the wall. I highly recommend and i will be definitely be using them again in the future.

I’m so pleased to say that I had a great experience with Swift Handy Works! I had a few really tricky general repairs to do, which were all done properly and to a very high standard. Raoul was professional and polite and really cared about getting the work done right-not just quickly. Though they were so busy they kept in great contact and really made an effort to come as soon as they could. Highly recommend.

John worked on the eaves unit for our loft conversion area. We are very pleased with his work; it looks even better than we had imagined. He was efficient and immensely professional, always following up with any questions we had and working to schedule. John has previously made some alcove shelves for us so I knew he’d do a great job of fitted wardrobes. They were made up and colour matched off-site so the fitting took less than a day and mess free. Really happy with these beautiful period style wardrobes which have a handy pull down rail. John also did rounded corners on request which we love.

I had been looking for a while to get some alcove cupboards and shelves made and after speaking to a few companies I decided to hire John for the work. The final product is of exceptional quality and John was able to install it all within one day. It has transformed our living room! I recently hired Thomas Carpentry & Joinery to make and install two alcove wardrobes in our bedroom and I couldn't be happier with the results. These guys are great......very happy J&D Building found them for me. They fitted wardrobe doors in my master bedroom. It was a tricky job as the carcass had already been built and had a tricky corner. Dom and the team exceeded all my expectations. They are very professional, super tidy and cleaned up after themselves. They were well priced and definitely worth every penny. I would recommend anyone to go see them.

I had a request for bespoke furniture - a unique feature seat floating inside front bay window. As it's an old house the walls were not even or symmetrical. Dominik and his team understood my vision of what I wanted and returned a beautiful finished product that is built to fit the the walls, but tricks they eye. Only I know it has unique and necessary asymmetry to compensate. The finished product is just what I wanted and described and balances the space perfectly. I also had them build bespoke floor to ceiling wardrobes in the master bedroom. They are well built and pleased with the high standard of finish that will last. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended! Dominik and his team built ten pieces of bespoke furniture for our apartment (including a horigotatsu). They initially offered us a choice of price/material-type options, we chose the one that suited and it was built and delivered on budget. Installation was well managed, efficient and staged, allowing the guys to pick up and correct any snags as the project progressed. They also helped remedy a problem we had with a different supplier and fixed a few other odds and ends that were outside the original scope. Premium service all round. The furniture looks wonderful, we love it!

Very impressed from start to finish with Bespoke Carpentry. Really easy to communicate with to discuss design ideas. David (the carpenter) was excellent, a lovely man who is a very talented carpenter. He worked incredibly hard and fast to get our bookcase cabinet fitted in just two days. Paolo and his team (Dennis for the carpenter work) did an amaaaazing job at building a bespoke mezzanine in a relatively small bedroom with high ceilings. Paolo designed exactly what I wanted and Dennis did a fantastic job. Super nice, extremely clean, efficient, to the perfection. The structure is rock solid. It is impressive. I will ask them to do many more storage spaces in my flat in a few months. I warmly recommend them. They are just perfect.
