These guys are great......very happy J&D Building found them for me. They fitted wardrobe doors in my master bedroom. It was a tricky job as the carcass had already been built and had a tricky corner. Dom and the team exceeded all my expectations. They are very professional, super tidy and cleaned up after themselves. They were well priced and definitely worth every penny. I would recommend anyone to go see them.

I had a request for bespoke furniture - a unique feature seat floating inside front bay window. As it's an old house the walls were not even or symmetrical. Dominik and his team understood my vision of what I wanted and returned a beautiful finished product that is built to fit the the walls, but tricks they eye. Only I know it has unique and necessary asymmetry to compensate. The finished product is just what I wanted and described and balances the space perfectly. I also had them build bespoke floor to ceiling wardrobes in the master bedroom. They are well built and pleased with the high standard of finish that will last. Highly recommend.

The project I had in mind being a sculpture, it was important to be able to discuss and evolve as the project was developing. Brett has been, throughout, conscientious, clear, very involved and open to make the project see the light. He put a lot of thought into it, always realistic on time, schedule and fair on price. We needed an extensive list of carpentry jobs done as part of our renovation, including a flat roof, stud wall, kitchen installation, skirting, shelving, flooring and the list goes on. We were absolutely delighted with how it went. Mark is meticulous and delivers work of the highest standard. He’s also an excellent problem solver - and with any big project that’s crucial. Just had an amazing floor-to-ceiling cupboard made by West London Carpentry and can highly recommend them for any carpentry service needed. They build made-to-measure and the process is very straight forward. They have a lot of experience and are excellent at giving advice/ideas as well as listen to any requests you have. There aren't enough words to describe the impeccable service of the whole West London Carpentry team. Tim was responsive and so personal with us from my first email and design ideas phase, quite literally overseeing every aspect of our work till the final minute. Jose, who was the magician who did the work in our flat is a dream - so well mannered, kind, incredibly hard working, tidy and very talented! Absolutely stunning work, higher than my expectations! Working with Tim and Steve on the design really helped as they ended up giving me far more of an aesthetic look to my media wall. I had quite a few intricate design ideas and they were all executed flawlessly. Not to forget, the whole team were so kind, friendly and super tidy. We had beautiful fitted wardrobes installed throughout our house last year in Crouch End, which are of extremely high quality and aesthetically beautiful. Having done a lot of research in the area, I think it is well worth getting bespoke rather than your typical high street fitter. There is a lot of appeal to picking your own colours and the uniqueness of the design. We are looking forward to working with Eoin again on our kitchen this year!!

Andy did a fabulous job restoring a recently purchased antique chest of drawers. He did a quick and free site visit to assess the piece of furniture and gave an honest evaluation of how it could be restored and what the costs would be. He was able to fit me into his busy schedule because I was anxious about getting the piece fixed. He was prompt and brought all the necessary tools. He walked me through the issues and fully restored the drawers in a timely manner. It wasn’t the most obvious solution, but Andy is knowledgeable, skilled and creative at solving issues. He left the area clean and was tidy during the process. Besides being a skilled carpenter, he is also kind, warm and professional. Would definitely recommend!

Andy did a great job with our bath frame and panels. He was kind enough to fit us in on short notice after completing some other work. He was responsive, punctual, worked well and quickly and was a really nice person to work with! Andy also had the benefit of cutting items remotely so was able to keep our bathroom incredibly clean, and was tidy in general. Andy is absolutely amazing. I've had him do loads of stuff over the last few years, including building bookcases (he's a trained carpenter), staining my floors (which he made look 1000% times better), painting, and resealing windows. He's extremely reliable and honest, and this is confirmed by a former neighbor who first introduced me to him. He's also very tidy, so you don't even know he was there after the work's done. In short, I highly recommend him!

We have a difficult to make use of small boiler room in our flat. In need of more storage space we got in touch with Solid Carpentry. They did such an excellent job from start to finish. We can now finally store all of our luggage and random things and the room actually feels bigger now. Well done on getting the shelves fitted in such small awkward spaces. We needed our drawers re-done in our wardrobes. It was a very bespoke project as we didn't need something built from scratch, but within an already built structure. It was wonderful working with Solid Carpentry, and the final product was beautiful! Dmitriy was attentive to all the special adjustments we wanted for our drawers and patient if we changed our minds on some details. I bought four timber sash windows from Toni. They had to be 14mm double glazing to suit a conservation area and obviously also had to meet buildings regulations. I researched places to buy the windows for many months and A1 bespoke joinery provided excellent quality windows at a much more affordable price than the bigger companies. I'm returning to A1 to buy a new front door and I won't hesitate to give them further business in the future. Excellent workmanship at a reasonable price.

I had A1 come to do my bay window this summer and the job has been seamless start to finish. Toni and the team have given me the windows I've always wanted! Beautiful sash windows that dont leak, have annoying condensation and hooray, actually make my flat warmer. It was great working with people who take the job seriously, Toni came and spent a decent amount of time measuring everything meticulously, he gave an accurate quote, stuck to the timelines he gave me AND managed to take into account my shutters that were already installed. A1 Joinery replaced 6 double glazed sash windows and 1 double glazed casement window at the front of my property and Toni and his team did a really excellent job. The windows are high quality and are competitively priced . The installation team did a great job fitting all the windows, particularly the dormer window on the top floor which was fitted without the need for any scaffolding. A1 Joinery can be relied upon to do a good job and are highly recommended.
