We have used Ruslan and his team several times to redecorate different rooms and areas including painting, crack and ceiling repair, floor sanding, shelf-building, plumbing and electrics. It is a late Victorian house so this is rarely straightforward but Ruslan has expertise straightforward but Ruslan has expertise in this area and always does a really great job. He is flexible and communicative and find his pricing to be reasonable and any extras are also costed fairly. His team are friendly, punctual and hard working. We will continue to use him in the future. Highly recommended.

Solid Carpentry designed and installed a custom, built-in bookcase with a hidden door for me. Dmitriy was responsive, open & clear about what to expect (including considerations we had not thought of), took a lot of care and demonstrated real pride in his work - which made the whole process very enjoyable. We have a difficult to make use of small boiler room in our flat. In need of more storage space we got in touch with Solid Carpentry. They did such an excellent job from start to finish. We can now finally store all of our luggage and random things and the room actually feels bigger now. Well done on getting the shelves fitted in such small awkward spaces. We were delighted with the fitted wardrobes that Mariusz in our bedroom. He listened to what we wanted and made some really good suggestions that greatly improved the whole look of the wardrobes. They are beautiful and every time I enter the bedroom they make me smile. We then asked Mariusz to fit units either side of our fireplace so that we had storage space but within a setting that improved the look of our living room/dinning area. Again, he came to the house, listened to all the ideas that we had and suggested some of his own, which made for beautifully designed cabinets that are a feature of our living room and are greatly admired by friends and family. We absolutely love them. My husband and I would highly recommended this company, the men were hardworking, polite and after both installations our home was left spotlessly clean.

M&S Carpentry has done an amazing job for us. From start to finish it has been a pleasure to work with them. I had a clear idea of what I wanted, which was a little unusual because I wanted to hide an en-suite behind wardrobes and have the doors open inwards. I had spoken to a number of firms who had all said they couldn't or didn't want to do it as it was out of the ordinary. M&S Carpentry were great from the start, they got what I wanted to achieve and helped make that vision a reality. They advised on finishes and approach and it was a real team effort. The job was reasonably priced and they were able to meet my quite quick timetable with ease. The job was delivered on time and on budget and the quality and attention to detail is exceptional. I could not be more happy with the end product. It is exactly as I imagined and I am thrilled with it. I would not hesitate to recommend M&S Carpentry and am already thinking about what else I can get them to build for me!

Mariusz was very profession in his approach, reliable with all he commuted to, spot on with timing for delivery and installation and he delivered a bespoke product that’s amazing!!! We are so happy with our build in bookcases and wardrobes. Doug did a fantastic job, they have elevated our rooms so much! He built most of them in his workshop, so was only at our house for 2 days, and was no disruption at all. Doug left the house dust free. I’ve had fitted furniture before and Doug’s is superior quality - highly recommend

This is the second time we’ve used Doug’s services and had another great experience. Doug is very easy to work with, he takes time to understand your requirements and works to a very high standard, leaving the space clean and tidy each day. Nothing is too much trouble, even when I changed my mind on the colour, Doug was happy to re-paint the wardrobes to make sure we were 100% happy with the finish! I would definitely use his services again and have already recommended him to friends.

Doug built two bespoke cupboards for us, for our bedroom. Bobby did an amazing Job spray painting our existing kitchen doors fitting new carcasses and making new matching kitchen doors where necessary and more. It’s like having a brand new kitchen for a fraction of the cost. I don’t write many reviews but he deserves a good review. He is also one of the few people that I was comfortable to leave alone in my house.

We are immensely grateful to Bobby, our carpenter, who created a stunning wooden frame for our display fridge at our cake shop. From start to finish, Bobby has been patient, knowledgeable, and understanding, always willing to go the extra mile. Among the many contractors we’ve worked with during our shop fitting, Bobby truly stood out with his professionalism, passion, and personality. Despite our modest budget, Bobby never hesitated to answer our endless emails, make multiple site visits to ensure accuracy, and work with us every step of the way before any deposit was even paid. He even drove two hours to our fridge manufacturer to take precise measurements, invited us to his studio to view wood stains and beadings, and produced a final result that exceeded all expectations. On the day of installation, Bobby arrived fully prepared, working diligently through the day to craft the frame exactly as envisioned. He even cleaned up afterwards with a heavy commercial vacuum cleaner that he brought. For anyone looking for an honest, detail-oriented and skilled carpenter, please trust all these reviews you are reading. Bobby is a true craftsman, and his work is second to none. He is a real carpenter but not a marketing expert with photo editing skills. So photos are not going to do him justice until you see his works with your eyes! I had Bobby from London Carpentry solutions help me with a number of bespoke furniture items with the latest being a multifunction desk. Bobby was fantastic from helping me resolve a design detail but also help me rationalise the design to achieve my budget. Once the details were agreed Bobby stuck to the agreed installation date, arriving exactly on time and I never got the impression he was in a rush to be somewhere else. The quality of the work went above and beyond my hopes (hopefully my armature photographs do his work justice) and his care and consideration was second to none. For these reasons I have no hesitation providing a recommendation.

So glad i found these guys. Nathan and Sebastian did a fantastic job installing door and partition. All fully painted as well (bonus, one team does everything). I had been looking for a while to get some alcove cupboards and shelves made and after speaking to a few companies I decided to hire John for the work. The final product is of exceptional quality and John was able to install it all within one day. It has transformed our living room! John was great in giving advice on shelves and depth of cupboards and his communication throughout the process was excellent. I would highly recommend John. John McMullen's work is truly outstanding. He is a complete perfectionist, and the work is done to the highest possible standard, on time, on budget, tidily and always with a smile. We have had the following things made: wardrobes (for 5 bedrooms) made, bookcases, a TV cabinet, window seats and radiator covers. We have never had a problem and some years later, the items still look like new. We cannot recommend John highly enough.

Rafal's workmanship is to a high standard, I am happy with the under stairs storage he made and fitted. Communication was a bit tricky initially (and I was really adamant I wanted Rafal to do this job for us, after seeing his amazing portfolio!), once we passed that I can't fault him for the job done. I also have to say Rafal is a perfectionist and wasn't fully satisfied with how the door was installed, so he found a way to make it work better even if that meant a couple more hours of work. In mid 2024 we asked several local carpenters to visit to provide quotes for various jobs we wanted to be undertaken including under stairs storage, additional fitted kitchen units and various fitted cupboards and drawers. When Rafal came we knew that he was the right choice before he even sent his quotation, he exhibited calm confidence and also a warm and friendly nature. And we were pleased when his quotes were very competitive. Rafal's work was to an excellent quality. He was clear in what was achievable and good at communicating when modifications to any design were needed to be made. Rafal was great at communicating before and after the work was done, both by WhatsApp and calls, and was amazingly flexible on dates when we needed to adjust due to materials not arriving in time. As a contractor myself, I was very impressed by Rafal's van setup which is super clean and tidy and shows that he takes pride in his work and presentation of himself and his profession. I can highly recommend working with Rafal and we look forward to having him back for additional work.

Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes - Peter's service is very bespoke - attention to detail and problem solving - is something Peter really enjoys and was challenged by this space being uneven and shallow! ELB’s in-demand carpentry service is certainly worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier with the work they have done installing new floating shelves and a built-in laundry unit. Through each stage of the process, Peter was excellent and extremely helpful, he visited our site and perfectly understood what we were aiming for, he provided a digital design sketch for the project and made multiple revisions and suggestions until we were happy with the final design. The fit and finish was perfect, he even spray painted the cabinets in the colours we had chosen and was able to fit everything in just one day. We’re so happy with the results and will definitely be using their services again in the future.
