Who’d have thought the best all rounder sushi spot in London, would be in woolwich? Ive visited Hitachi 4 times now, and they knock it out the park every single time. The guys running it are super friendly, the fish is fresh and the sushi is made in front of you, and the nigiri and rolls are put together with real expertise and great flavours. Highly recommend for any Sushi fan. You won’t find better for as good of a price. Hats off to Hitachi Sushi!

I'm constantly reminded how GREAT of a hidden gem Hitachi is every time I've visited - if you're after fresh tasting, affordable pricing and friendly service then Hitachi Sushi is the place for you! It always satisfies all sushi cravings as the sushi rolls and nigiri are put together with great expertise and flavour combinations. I've dined in and ordered takeaway and the quality has been immaculate every time - my top 3 favourites are the NY salmon nigiri, seared mackerel nigiri and Hitachi Dragon roll. By far the best sushi in Woolwich!

I got a salmon poke bowl via Ubereats for £12 and it was so yummy!! A little on the pricier for delivery, but so worth it! Loved the variety and freshness of the pickled veg (which I often don't find with other places), and the salmon was great. It was just a touch dry, but I added some mayo and it was perfect 👌👌 would 100% get another from here again.

I ordered them from deliveroo and i decided to visit their shop. The sashimi and sushi rolls are very fresh and tasty! The service is very attentive too. The price of the sushi is also very reasonable and affordable! The interior of the restaurant is also quite cool and funky, it feels like we’re eating in a cyber night club.

Absolutely delicious! Couldn’t find anywhere something like this. Was really craving for a nice sushi, that hit the spot. Will recommend 💯. They even made my fav Spicy Cooked Salmon Roll on order even if they didn’t have it on their order. Really lovely staffs. 💕

I had an absolutely wonderful dine in experience at this place. The food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully boxed. —truly a treat for the taste buds. A special shoutout to Elizabeth, who was polite and attentive. She wasn’t just kind and accommodating to me, but I also noticed how graciously she interacted with every customer, ensuring everyone felt welcome and well taken care of. I highly recommend to try here. Me and my wife will definitely be coming back!

Yoana at the Woolwich branch was lovely as a customer service rep. She offered help with my order and was polite and friendly. It made my first experience at Popeyes restaurant really memorable and I would definitely return and recommend the store. It was very clean, the food was hot and tasty and the staff were all hardworking.

Tried 2 of their burgers with their 2 for 1 offer on Tuesdays. The deal is you choose two burgers and one comes with a fries and a drink. Both burgers were tasty, one portion of fries is more than enough for two ppl. We choose the not so American beef burger and the Korean chicken. Chicken had a good hot level. The place where the restaurant is located was very busy and small full of delivery drivers, don’t wait there for your food, better experience if you ring them up and order ahead or you can order for delivery too..

The beef and pork burger were delicious.. and the Korean loaded fries fantastic. Best burger by far in woolwich. I had a bleeckers burger yesterday "apparently best in london" and in-between was just as good. They are that good. The only thing I ask, and not a critiscim, can I order medium cooked burgers. Just a personal preference. Keep up the good work really great food. Thank you.

The best meal I've had from Woolwich and could not be happier that we discovered this place. Absolutely loved that they were simple, no fuss brioche burgers which allows you to taste the full flavours of the fillings! Rather than just "Asian inspired", you get to taste all the genuine homecooked flavours. It's a real comfort food vibe. We ordered the soft shell crab, pork tocino & Korean fried chicken. Excited to try the other fillings.

Great little place nestled amongst many other eateries in Woolwich. I had walked past this spot many times as it's pretty inconspicuous but you are most definitely missing out if you do not visit. Lots of choice for vegetarian and vegan (all clearly marked), interesting and varied menu all with a very warm service. Visit and order the veg chilli Momo's 💓

This was my first time trying Tibetan food. I had seen the place on a friend's Instagram account and had read good reviews, so I had quite high hopes. Despite this, I was not let down, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a few dishes in mind that I definitely wanted to order, but we also asked the waiter for a few recommendations, and he was extremely friendly and helpful. He even informed us that we may be ordering too much, so we reduced our order size. For our starter, we had the steamed chicken momo. I'd had many other types of dumplings (Chinese, Japanese, etc.), but this was also very nice. The dumpling skin was slightly thicker than others of similar shape, and the meat inside was juicy and had a nice flavour that it was possible to eat them as is. However, it came with a red, tomato based sauce, which went perfectly with it to enhance its flavours. For my main, I ordered the lamb thenthuk, which was recommended by the waiter over other noodle dishes. The broth had a slightly subtle yet delicious flavour. Initially, when I had just the noodles, I felt that the flavour was not enough, however, when I mixed it together with the meat and the vegetables, they soaked up more of the flavour of the broth that the whole dish was delicious. The noodles felt fresh, and the meat was tender and juicy. Overall, I very much enjoyed my experience at Kailash Momo. The inside of the restaurant is not too big, but it has a nice, cosy feel and the food was excellent. Also the prices were all very reasonable. Therefore, I would definitely like to return again to try more of their dishes.

Woolwich Works is an events space with lots of events. On Saturday when I visited the Co working space on the ground floor besides the cafe, there was an Olympics Family Day event. Very nice but noisy if you are trying to work but I could hear some fun things going on in the yard outside. Not sure why but the WIFI wasn’t working that day. The cafe has good food like sandwiches, rolls, cakes, hot and cold drinks including alcohol. There is indoor and outdoor seating. And yes the loos are very clean. .

Comedy night and I'd never been to the venue before. Fantastically laid out, comfortable and well served by local amenities. Even the WiFi failure for card payments at the drinks kiosks inside (there is a main bar that wouldn't be affected) didn't dampen the mood. Interested to see what other types of events will be staged there.

Nice location near Thames front close to the Thames clipper boat terminal and Woolwich ferry. Nice cafe with good selection of hot and cold drinks and food. Plenty of toilets and other activities offered for interest groups.

Went to the annual Contemporary Print Fair at the Woolwich Works. Massive space for events. Close to Woolwich tube station, very convenient on the Elizabeth Line. There’s a cafe/ restaurant which served food and drinks and another bar inside that only served drinks. Toilets available. Parking available.

Now this is how you Baguette! Wow! Delicious pork baguette, slight but manageable spice..pickled daikon and carrot..yum! With a lovely refreshing lemon ice tea. Friendly warm atmosphere and service. Go for it! (P.S I asked for extra coriander!)

Such a great find. Nice restaurant serving up brilliant dishes of Vietnamese food. The pork spring rolls are as good as they get, whilst my pork baguette might be the best baguette I’ve ever eaten. That’s how it’s done France…the meat broth was grand too. Strange ordering system where you pick up a menu and then write the numbered dish on a ticket before handing it to the waitress at the till. Pay before eating. There is a nice looking garden out the back. One of the very best places to eat in Woolwich.

Viet Baguette serves amazing Vietnamese food! The banh mi is flavorful, with fresh ingredients and perfect crunch. Their pho is aromatic and delicious, and the spring rolls are a must-try. The staff is friendly, and the prices are great. Highly recommended!

We were happy with our food. The portions were generous, we will be coming back. At the time we went, they were busy but we managed to still get a table quickly.

If you'd like something healthy, tasty, and made with love - come here! We love picking up food from here. My children ask for it and so we like to eat regularly from here. The place is in the basement of a store / bakery. It's quite unassuming to look at, but clean. We ordered a Vegetarian Assorted dish (Ye Tsome Beyaynetu) and a Chicken Dish (Yedoro Wot Betitfit). The food took some time to arrive (around 20 minutes). The Head chef told later that it's because they prepare fresh dishes. The food was presented in a big plate, arranged in a platter, as shown in the attached picture. It looked very tempting and we dived straight in. The flavors were delicious! It felt so similar to Indian home food, so we loved it even more. The Head chef was very friendly and cooperative. We can't wait to go again.
