One of the best pasta places in London, definitely a hidden gem. Friendly service, delicious pasta, not much more you can ask!

Homemade food with delicious flavours. Place was clean. The Argentinian server was so helpful, friendly and he made us laughed. The tiramisú was very nice and would definitely love to be back. I would have given a five but the other front house staff were not as helpful.

Really lovely meal, nice atmosphere and delicious pasta. We got the window booth which was pleasant and quite private but still felt part of the vibe. Like the choice of vermouth cocktails (pity you don’t have a Bianca hint hint). We ordered the focaccia and olives, yum! three starters and three pastas and finished with perfectly sized (for one) tiramisu for dessert. We had a truffle ravioli style pasta which was our favourite and highly recommend as well as cod cheek and saffron. I’d say the saffron was flavourful but lacked seasoning. Still tasty. Starter salads were top notch and red wine selection was great- enjoyed two Italian and one Portuguese red. Looks like they have a good lunch special I may come back for but parking won’t be free until after 7pm weekdays and Saturdays.

Here is a list of things that made me rate this wonderful restaurant 5 stars! 1. Simple Menu. Everything is WORLD class 2. They cooked me the best scallops I have ever eaten, and that includes at Michelin Star restaurants 3. Their Focaccia is out of this world. We had 5 portions between 4, which I’m told is the joint record :-) 4. They knew it was my birthday, and brought me out a candle and a DELICIOUS cake 5. Staff - they were BEYOND friendly. This is such a positive 6. I forgot to take a picture of the dessert, it was a peach creme patisserie thing, and it was AMAZING Pictures include: Aubergine Campanelle, Prawn Tagliolini, Octopus Rigatoni, Spinach Ravioli (this was INCREDIBLE by the way) Grazie mille!

Fantastic from start to finish. My husband booked this for my birthday and we cannot fault it. We had the steak sampler board and it is honestly some of the best steak we’ve ever had, and we eat out a lot. Service impeccable. No waving your arm around for ages hoping someone sees you, the staff are so on the ball, our waitress was Sanna and she was excellent. Lemon meringue pie to die for. This place is a gem. Needless to say, we will be back.

Very good and reasonably priced steak. I had the 300g rump cut and it was cooked a perfect medium rare. We also really enjoyed the desserts - the chocolate fudge cake and the Argentine pancake with condensed milk were particularly good. Service was friendly and attentive. I asked to replace the fries and they did so no questions asked. The fries were still not good so that’s probably my only critique of food here.

My friend and I came for a roast here and it was one of the best roasts we’ve had in a while. I don’t usually leave reviews but what made it such a great experience was the excellent service - something you don’t see much these days at other pubs! Terrance was our waiter and he was just so brilliant - very friendly and attentive, even when it was busy!

This restaurant is absolutely amazing and has become one of my all-time favorites! I’ve been dining here for special occasions and have recommended it to my friends and family, who also loved it. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is outstanding. The manager, Scott, is truly one of a kind. Every time we go there, he personally comes over to check on us, making sure everything is perfect. He’s always friendly, attentive, and even makes us laugh, which adds such a personal and enjoyable touch to the experience. Just last Sunday, I went with some friends, and once again, we had an incredible time. Everyone loved the food, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We’re already planning to come back for my birthday because this place is just that special. I can’t recommend it enough!

Booked in advance, although I visited on a Sunday evening. Welcomed by both the serving staff who were very friendly throughout the evening. 3 course menu with a good selection to choose from. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would recommend this restaurant.

We've been coming to La Trompette for many years to celebrate special occasions and it's never, ever disappointed. The quality of the produce, the flavours and the wonderful presentation make the high price tag worth paying - you know you're eating dishes that have taken significant time, effort and passion to get to the table. Some small things have changed over the years - the rather cold post-refit décor or the loss of the range of breads offered at the beginning of the meal for example - but these are tiny niggles in what's a real treat as an overall experience. Finally, whatever the flavour of the soufflé on offer - don't miss it!!!!

Amazing experience. Expensive, but definitely worth it. Chicken, duck, avocado, bread are great. The cheese selection tasting as the desert is nice as well (if you decide to choose Strathearn cheese, be prepared for very strong and unexpected taste). Portion size is good and you can expect to leave the restaurant satisfied. I think it's a great choice for a rare lunch/dinner out or a date.

One of people's favourite restaurants in Chiswick. Open from 8.30 am in the morning. The food/drinks were delicious, the place/atmosphere was ok, the service was also good. But too crowded sometimes. No need for reservation, but better to book a table on peak hour, especially if coming with more than 4 people. The toilet was clean.

It was a great experience. We just went there without the planning. Liked the lunch over there although the drinks could be improved, not as good as the food was. A tremendous work has been done on the interiors it gives you a very nice vibe

Wonderful restaurant - excellent flavours and textures, well-prepared and presented food and nice formal service. Way more than a neighbourhood restaurant! Went for a couple's birthday celebration and it is definitely special enough as well as relaxed and enjoyable, though quite smart. Great stuff. Caveat: price (what's new in London...). The menu price seems OK but there are a lot of extras and of course drinks, so it ended up being £120 a head with very reasonable amounts of booze and extras, so I'd say it's a tad steep, but the quality is there.

Until Hawthorn closed in Kew there was no reason to come here as we stay loyal to restaurants as they need all the support they can get. We were also put off slightly by the negative reviews, which seemed plausible. Still we decided to give Silver Birch a try and were not disappointed. From the beginning. The amuse-bouche were all well executed, subtlety flavoured and enjoyable. Bread also good, and the two butters exemplary (if butters are allowed to be that). The crab starter was superb: delicate but rich. Initially I was a little underwhelmed by the beef tartare - more from the small portion size - but the beef was high quality, the flavours complex and complimentary, and I enjoyed that it had been thickly cut. We decided to go for two meat dishes as the main courses and I suspect we made the right choice as both the venison and the pigeon could not be faulted. Again high quality meats, cooked perfectly. Puddings excellent. Service was attentive and professional; and we liked the ambience of the room. It was clear that the chefs have well-honed skills and know what they're doing. Too often when dishes are a coming together of complex textures and flavours the result is a mess. This was not the case tonight. Not cheap of course but that's London pricing. The food itself was a very reasonable £65 a head but drinks and service will easily double the final price (understandably).

I recently celebrated my birthday at The Silver Birch and it was a fantastic experience. Modern British cuisine at its finest! Samuel’s wine recommendations were spot-on, perfectly complementing our meal, and the restaurant manager's attentiveness made the evening even more special. A memorable dining experience—I’ll definitely be back!

I recommend visiting this place at least once in your life. Seems like not living in the UK, and the atmosphere of this place makes you feel like you're in a proper Italian restaurant. From the menu I chose the salumi e formaggi tagliere as antipasto, plus I chose pappardelle al cinghiale as primi which I found delicious and with a great flavour, I had still space on my stomach and so I added on the menu the Fiorentina T-Bone steak 🥩, cooked medium rare. To finish I had a citrus and mango sorbet with a double shot of grappa as dessert and digestif. This place made my day plus there was a lucky sunny day outside that I decided to sit in the outdoor seating area, enjoying the lovely weather that comes very rarely in this country. Will come back soon when I'll have another chance

Great traditional Italian restaurant (not a pizza in sight) with excellent service. The scallops were delicious and the mushroom risotto cooked perfectly. As well as the main restaurant there is a larger party private dining room, bar and lounge area. There is, also a covered outside dining area in a small garden. Would recommend and return.

Fantastic Italian restaurant. Great service, very attentive and delicious food! We went for my husbands birthday and they had a live piano which created a great ambience. 🥳

I used one of the private rooms at Villa di Geggiano for a meeting a few days ago. Excellent in every respect. Can’t recommend them highly enough. There are several rooms, all distinct and interesting in their different ways. They would be suitable for all sorts of events. Private parties, business meetings, photo shoots and filming, club and society meetings, private dining, birthday or anniversary celebrations. Excellent food and service and very good value. They even have a banana shaped pool table! And a bar. And a wince cellar.

Cute little local pub in Chiswick. Went for a quick dinner and drinks with mates. Love the aesthetic and service was so friendly and engaging. Food was great pub grub!

Dog friendly pub with a huge Sunday roas? I had a lot of Sunday Roast and they've all come in different variation. However, the Sunday roast at the Lamb might be more than decent amount than what I had in the past. The chicken Sunday roast is well presented and the first impression is that it's huge as it's neatly stacked on top of each other. I guess you gets your money's worth. The halloumi fries was perfect; chunky and crispy and gooie. Love the food but struggled to finish it off but there is always room for dessert. Really enjoyed the Lemon, Raspberry and Orange Blossom Soda which was refreshing and cold to have on a hot summer day. It's a very popular pub and there always an influx of people coming and going. My friend loves The Lamb as it's a dog friendly pub and the service is excellent. Not only are attentive to you as a customer but they do take care of you dog as well.

Really lovely elegant pub! First visit as my daughter just moved to the area. We had the roast sharing plate which was amazing along with some amazing desserts. The service was relaxed and super friendly, Munica did a great job of looking after us :) can’t wait to come back for Jazz next time!

We love this place for Sunday lunch. They make the best spicy Bloody Mary which not only tastes fantastic but looks great too!

Very nice hidden gem. It is a bit pricey but the place is lovely. The staff were very friendly and also polite. There was a little wait to get the food but the place was full, so, understandable. We went for the brunch. Nice food, nice music. Would recommend and will go back to try the roast.

It’s a good place with a great atmosphere and polite and attentive staff. Breakfast-wise, the eggs Benedict were a bit far from the best ones I’ve tried: the muffin had less subtle taste than I would love, the egg white was not cooked in some parts of the eggs, and the Hollandaise sauce had a bit of a mushroom taste. The cappuccino was rather hot and also came with cinnamon. Overall the place is nice to come to, but when I’m looking for great breakfast options I’d select another one next time

We visited this bar/restaurant as a group of 6 people to meet with family visiting from abroad (and celebrate a birthday). We'd never been before and not familiar with the area but we were made to feel so welcome by Alfie and all the regular customers, including everyone joining in to sing happy birthday! The food was really lovely and freshly prepared (compliments to the chef!) and overall very good value for money. The service and hospitality was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for Alfie who is a really warm, friendly and funny young man. We'd love to visit again and highly recommend. Loved the place and the atmosphere. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Took my German shepherd with me , she was treated like royalty. They even brought her water and treats. Customer service is top notch 👌 Fish taco was good. Sticking to government guidelines by having paperless menus 👍 Would definitely recommend
