This restaurant is absolutely amazing and has become one of my all-time favorites! I’ve been dining here for special occasions and have recommended it to my friends and family, who also loved it. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is outstanding. The manager, Scott, is truly one of a kind. Every time we go there, he personally comes over to check on us, making sure everything is perfect. He’s always friendly, attentive, and even makes us laugh, which adds such a personal and enjoyable touch to the experience. Just last Sunday, I went with some friends, and once again, we had an incredible time. Everyone loved the food, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We’re already planning to come back for my birthday because this place is just that special. I can’t recommend it enough!
My friend and I came for a roast here and it was one of the best roasts we’ve had in a while. I don’t usually leave reviews but what made it such a great experience was the excellent service - something you don’t see much these days at other pubs! Terrance was our waiter and he was just so brilliant - very friendly and attentive, even when it was busy!
The Hound hosted 10 of us for our annual Christmas lunch and did not disappoint. We enjoyed a drink at the bar - everyone commented how festive it felt with the log fire and tasteful decorations - before being seated at a very spacious table in a secluded spot. We'd pre ordered the Christmas sharing platter which was superb - 4 different meats all cooked to perfection and plentiful portions. Shout out to Joe who looked after us brilliantly. Very fortunate to have The Hound as our go-to local.
