“Visited place after a friend suggested. Ordered few things from veg starters and road wala meals section. Despite a large booking..they attended us. As I could peep into kitchen all looked neat and tidy and most important coming to food, everything was superp. Prep, quality, presentation and hygiene all 10/10. Prices are very reasonable for the quality they offer. Would like to visit again.”

“A friend recommended this place and it didn't disappoint. The cheese naan was the best I've had. The waitress was really friendly and explained the dishes as were weren't familiar with some of them. All the food was delicious. The portions were so large we took boxes home and it was enough for another meal. One of the staff also gave us a free dessert.”

“Easy to spot, located near the high street just opposite the bus stop. We had Papdi chaat made of Namak pare and desi chutney, Chilli chicken with a unique style of preparation, shahi paneer, Daal Makhani, Peshawari Kadhai Chicken, and Chilli Garlic Naan. Every dish was good, but the Peshawari Kadhai Chicken was the best.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5 Stars) Poornima’s is the definition of home-cooked Indian food. This is, hands down, the most authentic Indian restaurant in London right now. The chicken curry brought back memories of home, it’s rich, flavorful, and absolutely comforting. And the masala tea? Truly homemade, not the powdered sachet shortcut you find at so many other places. Every sip felt like a warm hug. What truly sets Poornima’s apart is the authenticity you can taste. The food doesn’t come out within minutes, and that’s how you know it’s fresh and made with care. This place is officially my new go-to for Indian food. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone who craves genuine, soulful cooking. A gem in Southall!”

“So had High expectations with this place being on the same stretch as some of the other well know restaurants I have allready reviewed so there is stiff competition. There was 2 members of staff handing out leaflets and trying to drum up customers to come in. In terms of decor and ambience , it was okay. Service was a little lack lustre. I told the waiter before ordering to please make sure there was a naan bread served with the starters but he didn't deliver. This is a big annoyance for me where so many restaraunts fail. I like a bit of naan with my lamb seekh kebabs or chicken tikka. This was another place where whilst I was waiting for that that starters had cooled down. So annoying especially when I gave the guy a head up and clear request. Food was reasonably priced. Lots of choice. The food however was spicey even though I asked for mild and the flavours were okay. There was nothing amazing or wow or exceptional. Every place should have something memorable or something unique or different that sets them selves apart from the rest but this was not that place and sadly due to that, this will be my first and last time here again. The food was not bad it was okay, just a bit average. The chicken and lamb curry were good. Chilli paneer not that great and paapdi chaat was lacking everything. Need some decent chutneys on that guys Service was not great considering there was only 2 tables being serviced. Makes me wonder what service would be like when your full?! Upstairs toilet looked clean but actual toilet was disgusting. Won't put pic of that on here. Bit messy in places. Parking is usual situation that you woukd expect in southall. - tricky at best of times. All in all thankyou was an okay experience but not one I want to have again. Was okay but nothing great.”

Diwaan — Mandi in Southall

“I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Deewann in Southall twice within the last three weeks, and each visit has been a memorable experience. This spot offers a unique blend of authentic Arabian and SouthAsian cuisine, making it a fantastic choice for those looking to enjoy flavors from both regions. Food Quality & Taste: The food quality here is superb. During our visits, we tried their Arabian Mandi, Chicken 65, Haleem, and Khubani Ka Meetha for dessert. Each dish was packed with authentic flavors, skillfully prepared, and served fresh. The Arabian Mandi was exceptionally well-cooked with tender meat and aromatic rice, while the Chicken 65 and Haleem were perfectly spiced and flavorful. The Khubani Ka Meetha was the ideal sweet finish, with just the right balance of richness and sweetness. Ambiance & Environment: The environment is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and well-organized, with options for both table and carpet seating, catering to traditional dining preferences. Segregated spaces add a touch of privacy, making it comfortable for families or groups who prefer a quieter dining area. Service: The staff at Deewann provide attentive and friendly service. They ensure that orders are taken promptly and check in during meals to make sure everything meets expectations. They create a comfortable, relaxed experience, which complements the enjoyable dining atmosphere. Overall, Deewann is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for high-quality Arabian and SouthAsian dishes in Southall, paired with excellent service and a pleasant dining environment. Highly recommended!”

“We went for lunch. It was okay but not great. The starters were a good size however our food came at separate times despite asking for it altogether. The restaurant was quite cold and it was hard to get waitresses attention. They did try to give us a take out dessert to compensate for our experience which was a nice gesture.”
