I discovered this Indian restaurant through Google and decided to give it a try because of its high rating—and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Each dish was prepared to perfection, making it a truly satisfying culinary experience. The service was exceptional as well. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. In terms of affordability, I found it to be very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. It’s not often you find a place that offers such great value without compromising on quality. Overall, it was an exceptional experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for amazing Indian food and top-notch service.

Visited place after a friend suggested. Ordered few things from veg starters and road wala meals section. Despite a large booking..they attended us. As I could peep into kitchen all looked neat and tidy and most important coming to food, everything was superp. Prep, quality, presentation and hygiene all 10/10. Prices are very reasonable for the quality they offer. Would like to visit again.

We tried vegetarian options at the restaurant, and it has truly authentic Punjabi taste. Paneer Kadhai and Paneer butter masala are the must try here. Great inside ambience and parking is also accessible, which I feel is quite important.

Little Istanbul

468-470 Lady Margaret Rd, Southall UB1 2NW, UK | Turkish Restaurant
P: 020 8575 5957

Rating: 4.8 (1432) Price Level:

Visited this venue as group of 6 lads. The place looks fairly new but wasn’t very busy for a Friday night. We were promptly seated and ordered a mix platter as well as the hot mix mezza. I particularly enjoyed the chicken wings. The food was good but can’t say much more than that. Loved the staff and hospitality - can’t be faulted and are what pushes the review up a star. They offer complementary Turkish tea and baklava at the end of the meal. The staff were very nice in offering another cup on the house - which I was quick to accept.

Excellent place for dining in. Food is simply awesome- delcisious and filling. Portions are large in my opinion and ended up packing some of our order back with us to home. Pricing is a bit on the higher side but for the quality and taste, I wouldn't complain. Service is good. Nothing noticed to be outstanding but nothing worrying either. It was a busy evening for them anyways. Ambience is good but the music was played a bit too loud for our liking. Parking is available as on street parking. You could end up searching for parking on a busy evening ! We had to drive around a bit to find space on a cold evening. I would definitely love to go again and would also recommend to anyone ! Food is simply too good and tasty in my opinion!

Service exceptionally good. We were a family of 5 dined there. Great place...spacious and brilliant ambiance. Some meat was a bit undercooked being chewey. The bread with the Humus was quite hard in some slices almost broke my denture😁..which it shouldn't be if baked straight from the oven. Overall the Platter was enjoyable but could be a bit more generous for the price paid for 5+ people platter. The complimentary Turkish tea and Baklava served after the meal was excellent. The tea is so mild and drinkable I ended up consuming 2 cups of the beverage. It's worth a visit for the experience and great food,as your experience may differ to mine. I will be going there again in near future to see if any changes for the better have been made.

Excellent customer service by Nidhi. The food was great and good idea of incorporating two cuisines together. The ambience of the restaurant was amazing. Warm and comfortable environment to enjoy food and spend quality time with family. There are a range of platters to choose from along with scrumptious dishes to satisfy the tastebuds. I would definitely recommend baby chicken grilled platter served with fries along with Chana masala. Complementary pita bread and hummus is served before the main course. From the moment you step in, the aroma of perfectly spiced dishes sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. ### **Highlights from Our Visit:** **1. Shahi Haleem:** A true star of the menu! The Shahi Haleem is rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced with spices. It’s the perfect appetizer to set the mood for a grand meal. **2. Masala Fish:** The Masala Fish is tender, flaky, and bursting with flavor. It has just the right level of spice and pairs wonderfully with the accompanying Mandi rice. **3. I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Deewann in Southall twice within the last three weeks, and each visit has been a memorable experience. This spot offers a unique blend of authentic Arabian and SouthAsian cuisine, making it a fantastic choice for those looking to enjoy flavors from both regions. Food Quality & Taste: The food quality here is superb. During our visits, we tried their Arabian Mandi, Chicken 65, Haleem, and Khubani Ka Meetha for dessert. Each dish was packed with authentic flavors, skillfully prepared, and served fresh. The Arabian Mandi was exceptionally well-cooked with tender meat and aromatic rice, while the Chicken 65 and Haleem were perfectly spiced and flavorful. The Khubani Ka Meetha was the ideal sweet finish, with just the right balance of richness and sweetness. Ambiance & Environment: The environment is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and well-organized, with options for both table and carpet seating, catering to traditional dining preferences. Segregated spaces add a touch of privacy, making it comfortable for families or groups who prefer a quieter dining area. Service: The staff at Deewann provide attentive and friendly service. They ensure that orders are taken promptly and check in during meals to make sure everything meets expectations. They create a comfortable, relaxed experience, which complements the enjoyable dining atmosphere. Overall, Deewann is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for high-quality Arabian and SouthAsian dishes in Southall, paired with excellent service and a pleasant dining environment. Highly recommended!

They have brunch option and lunch menu to choose from. We wanted to try the masala fish from the starter and masala on the fish was tasty but the fish itself is frozen fish, the mini mix grill had good flavours and portion size is decent for two people. The Shinwari special biryani had good amount of chicken pieces. The food was filling and light but it didn’t have the flavours we were expecting on the mini mix grill.

A friend recommended this place and it didn't disappoint. The cheese naan was the best I've had. The waitress was really friendly and explained the dishes as were weren't familiar with some of them. All the food was delicious. The portions were so large we took boxes home and it was enough for another meal. One of the staff also gave us a free dessert.

This place has become our go to place since the time it opened in December 2023, and I can hardly think of myself going to another place but Shinwari. The namak mandi kadhayi is authentic and extremely flavourful , the mixed grill is amazing, the new menu which they call brunch is very pocket friendly and filling. I’d recommend this place if you want and experience which would ask you to keep coming back❤️🫶

We been on yesterday after reading so many good reviews on the different sites. And it was worth visiting it. They have good options for vegetarians and taste was really good. Beena, who attended us was very polite and asked us about our preferences on spice level like mild, medium or spicy as we were with our kid. She also suggested few dishes that now we will taste at our next visit. Yes I recommend this place and we will visit again too.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5 Stars) Poornima’s is the definition of home-cooked Indian food. This is, hands down, the most authentic Indian restaurant in London right now. The chicken curry brought back memories of home, it’s rich, flavorful, and absolutely comforting. And the masala tea? Truly homemade, not the powdered sachet shortcut you find at so many other places. Every sip felt like a warm hug. What truly sets Poornima’s apart is the authenticity you can taste. The food doesn’t come out within minutes, and that’s how you know it’s fresh and made with care. This place is officially my new go-to for Indian food. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone who craves genuine, soulful cooking. A gem in Southall!

Lahori Masala Southall

179 The Broadway, Southall UB1 1LX, UK | Restaurant
P: 020 3621 5718

Rating: 4.6 (784) Price Level:

So had High expectations with this place being on the same stretch as some of the other well know restaurants I have allready reviewed so there is stiff competition. There was 2 members of staff handing out leaflets and trying to drum up customers to come in. In terms of decor and ambience , it was okay. Service was a little lack lustre. I told the waiter before ordering to please make sure there was a naan bread served with the starters but he didn't deliver. This is a big annoyance for me where so many restaraunts fail. I like a bit of naan with my lamb seekh kebabs or chicken tikka. This was another place where whilst I was waiting for that that starters had cooled down. So annoying especially when I gave the guy a head up and clear request. Food was reasonably priced. Lots of choice. The food however was spicey even though I asked for mild and the flavours were okay. There was nothing amazing or wow or exceptional. Every place should have something memorable or something unique or different that sets them selves apart from the rest but this was not that place and sadly due to that, this will be my first and last time here again. The food was not bad it was okay, just a bit average. The chicken and lamb curry were good. Chilli paneer not that great and paapdi chaat was lacking everything. Need some decent chutneys on that guys Service was not great considering there was only 2 tables being serviced. Makes me wonder what service would be like when your full?! Upstairs toilet looked clean but actual toilet was disgusting. Won't put pic of that on here. Bit messy in places. Parking is usual situation that you woukd expect in southall. - tricky at best of times. All in all thankyou was an okay experience but not one I want to have again. Was okay but nothing great.

It's Pakistani cuisine and the food is great, it is a very busy restaurant, and the food was halal and great in taste, it's just that they only have 1 toilet (unisex) which could be due to less space that I didn't fancy but overall recommended to everyone wanting some nice desi food and marvelous desi service, the owner and waiters were very polite and attentive!!

Few days ago I came with my family to Roshni Restaurant and we travelled 2 hours to come here. We ordered tawa mix grill which no restaurant in Southall Broadway had. We tried Spice Village, Giftos but didn’t hit the standard. However, the experience with Tawa mix grill was successful as it was delicious as well as it had a lot of food like naan, rice, grill food which everyone in my family enjoyed and got excited about. Then ordered Peshawari chicken karahi which was very nice as well. Would highly recommend to visit this restaurant and try tawa mix grill to get a new experience.👍🏻

I want to share my experience one day I was very very hungry because I came from work at 12.o’ clock and that day really I miss my Indian vegetarian food and gratefully, I scrolled google and find Roshini restaurant and I ordered shahi paneer, naan and veg biryani.. to be honest I was just wait for one hour and after 1hour delivery brother came exact time in my location in the rainy weather. I really really appreciate because my home is very far away from Southall because my exact location is in Stanwell Thank you so much Roshini restaurant and that delivery brother I really appreciate your service and food. I enjoyed a lot my veg biryani (with loaded lots of paneer)and shahi paneer and very big two naaan with Rayta and salad. Next time, I always decide to order my food from that restaurant❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Easy to spot, located near the high street just opposite the bus stop. We had Papdi chaat made of Namak pare and desi chutney, Chilli chicken with a unique style of preparation, shahi paneer, Daal Makhani, Peshawari Kadhai Chicken, and Chilli Garlic Naan. Every dish was good, but the Peshawari Kadhai Chicken was the best.
