What a cute little place! My friend and I walked in for an impromptu dinner and we are so happy that we did! The staff were super accommodating and friendly, full of knowledge and recommendations and the food was so tasty. A big shout out to Mattia who looked after us and made us feel really welcome. We will definitely be back soon 😁

Amazing experience! I walked in at around 12 today, didn’t need to wait even though I didn’t reserved myself a seat. Some true authentic Italian food served by very friendly waiters. If you are thinking of which dessert to try ask Mario, his recommendation is perfect!

The food is delicious. The Burrata salad, which was the meal of the day, was very well made and fresh (very large portion as well). Mario was extremely friendly and helpful, we felt so welcomed. Our friend even got a free BLACK TOMATOOOOO! Will definitely come back!

From the moment you step into The Grand, the ambience whispers of romance. Soft lighting, elegant décor. Service is impeccable and the staff exude warmth and professionalism ensuring that you have the best dining experience. Seated by the counter, we had the pleasure of interanting with the chef, who exuded a friendly and positive vibe. Reviewing after my fourth visit to the Grand on Portobello. Came here first for brunch and we were blown away by the creme brûlée French toast and avocado toast with vegan ricotta. Was so impressed I also celebrated my 21st birthday here with my family and ordered: sourdough, crispy chicken with aioli, burgers and sea bass. This was back in February and we are all still raving about it. But today was the single best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Chef Alessia pulled out all the stops with crispy chicken, roasted cauliflower, basque cheesecake and homemade vegan sorbet. With an open plan kitchen it is great to meet the chef and as she explained the dish to us it was clear how much she cared about the food, which is reflected in every dish. Giulia was attentive and recommended a delicious primitivo (£7) while other support staff were really friendly/smiling and looked like they were enjoying themselves too. We were very generously given some limoncello on the house and having not eaten out for a month due to exams - came out beaming and doing the happy food dance. Biggest thank you to the team on 20th May for a night of amazing food, hospitality and hugs that was a much needed treat. Overall: a delicious meal at any time of the day, perfect for a date, occasion or family meal with consistently great hospitality. If you are in Notting Hill this is THE place to go.

What a fantastic place for an Italian aperitivo! We had the best Campari spritz, expertly prepared by Vini. His warm welcome and the vibrant atmosphere made our experience truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy good vibes and great drinks in the heart of portobello

Charming Notting Hill brunch at The Grand! Their Tiramisu & Mascarpone special was a delightful bonus, but the real star was the vibrant atmosphere and friendly service. Light, fresh dishes with seasonal ingredients made for a perfect Saturday morning. Would definitely return to explore more of the menu!

Excellent produce and authentic Southern Italian food - the Sicilian red prawn tartare, shrimp linguine and the fillet are exceptionally good amongst many others. Wild is next to our home and is such a cosy, warm addition to our neighbourhood. Service is very friendly and welcoming also. Superb.

How to write a review without sounding condescending… hmmm… GENUINELY so good!! I have traveled a lot, and have been in various places around the globe but the meal I had here was impressively good. I have always had avoided artichokes as I was never used to them but thanks to them, I have made peace with that vegetable, it has been fried, but didn’t taste greasy, and it was on a parmesan sauce which was like a cloud coming from heaven. i also ate a simple tomato salad with had a very light seasoning… the service, the restaurant, the vibe.. even the music was good. love it!

Wild in Notting Hill offers a charming and cozy atmosphere with mood lighting and tasteful decor, making it the perfect spot for a date night, especially if you’re staying in the neighborhood. We were lucky to get a table for two upon arrival, thanks to the friendly hostess who promptly seated us. Our waiter was fantastic—charming, informative, and thoughtful throughout the evening. His attentive service really elevated our dining experience. For our meal, we had the beef filet, which was cooked perfectly but lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The carpaccio was much the same—good, but it could have used a bit more seasoning to really make it stand out. On the other hand, the pasta and salad were excellent—well-seasoned and thoroughly enjoyable. The cheesecake for dessert was different than expected, with a creamier, custard-like texture rather than the usual consistency, but it was still delicious, especially with the blackberry jam on top. This is definitely a premium-priced restaurant. For two people, with four dishes, dessert, and two drinks each, the bill came to nearly £300, which felt a bit excessive. However, despite the high price, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to others staying in Notting Hill and looking for such a vibe.

We got the beef sandwich and scramble and they were alright. I enjoyed the eggs the most since they were done well w/ a perfect grating of cheese on top. The waitresses were lovely and mostly attentive. I’d come back again to try the pancakes since they look divine but definitely more of a place u come to for the vibes !

Lovely breakfast options, very tasty and flavourful. Share the pancake, it's ginormous. The decor and interiors are very welcoming. The attention to detail is immaculate.

This restaurant is located at the corner of Westbourne Grove and Hereford Road in Notting Hill, about a 15mins walk from the underground station, making it easy to find. If you plan to visit on a weekend, I recommend making a reservation,otherwise, you might end up waiting outside for about 20 mins like we did. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant are quite nice. We ordered their signature Sunday pancake, a burger, and a matcha latte. While the matcha latte was very disappointing, the other dishes were quite good. However, the staffs were mostly lazy and forgetful, and their smiles were lacking. Overall, it was a mixed experience!

Absolutely spectacular in every way. The team are completely invested in this well oiled operation - they care, they are passionate and give there all. The food was absolutely outstanding. The wine pairing selection was perfect - down to the final cocktail - this was a welcome surprise. I am definitely booking round two - the tasting menu leaves you complete but not uncomfortable- this is an accolade in itself. Well done Clare - you are a true ‘craftsman’ and should be extremely proud of your creation.

Possibly the greatest meal I’ve ever had in my life. I cannot convey my emotions into words what a truly amazing experience this was and I would fly out to London again just to come back here. The food was phenomenal and the service was just as good. Kind and caring, they explained each dish as they came out and I probably didn’t understand half of what I was eating anyway but it didn’t matter. The quality of the food is akin to artwork. After my many courses, and having left my meal and am now sitting quietly, reflective of my meal, I am doing my best to remind myself: don’t be sad because it’s over, be glad that it happened

We’ve had many memorable meals over the years, but this one certainly takes the cake. Core’s three Michelin stars are extremely well-deserved - the creativity, presentation, and attention to detail are truly unrivaled. Each course was perfectly crafted, beautifully plated, and masterfully explained by its chef. Chef Clare Smyth was active in the kitchen on the evening we dined there, and it was evident how dedicated she was towards every dish being truly perfect. The wine pairings were a highlight as well, as was our amazing service by our server Bri. We can’t wait to return here again someday; do not miss your chance to dine here if a reservation comes available.

The newly converted Orasay now called Dove is here. I think in its new form of “Dove” it opened 6 days ago. Had dinner with my wife who is a vegetarian. I am a very fussy pescatarian. The food was superb every dish we had was delicious. Right quantity and fairly priced. Was served by a very friendly server Benedict. He suggested the right amount of food to order. The service was quick even though the restaurant was full. Benedict was attentive and had time for everyone ! Started off with some Focaccia Bread, lasagna - but not as you know it. These were small canapés size but so good that we repeated it. 2 come in one portion (photo shows only one - oops sorry). We also had a tomato dish which was fresh tomatoes on a bed of fresh sour cream and some seasoning which I could not make out what it was. This was our favourite dish of the evening. We followed that with Duck fried chips (we had the vegetarian version) , Cauliflower dish and Ravioli (not vegetarian). These were nice too. Oh and we repeated the lasagna dish. My wife had the caramel pudding which was delicious in her opinion. I did not try it. If there was one change that needs to be made to the overall menu is add a few more vegetarian dishes. A great evening. Good value for money. Would certainly come back for more. Highly recommended.

Visit here twice, general is average but not impressive. Overall was good, only the pasta pasta was so watery and too soft. The rest of them were good. As a fan of Jackson Boxer, I still want to come back haha😂

The artistic touch using each element of the plate, creating an incredible harmony in the mouth was clearly what made a difference here in the whole dining experience. Dragon rolls to die for, katsu chicken without egg was a treat. The place is small but not hard to see why so loved. Fresh food and were very flexible to adjust for egg and peanut allergies. Definitely will be back. Note: groups larger than 5 may have trouble getting seating unless you book well in advance. They also have 2 kids options as well. Quick fresh and easy 👌

Really amazing place to eat, went with a friend and we were served promptly by friendly staff members, the food is absolutely delicious and certain to fill you up.

My husband and I were in the neighborhood looking for a place for our dinner. My husband found Gold on Google Maps, and we decided to just hop in without a reservation even though it seemed like a tough spot to get in. We are so glad we did-we got bar seats right away. This restaurant is amazing, and it has a Chef’s Table vibe. It’s always exciting to watch how the magic being created in the kitchen, but it also feel comfortable, not too pretentious. We ordered a variety of food, and my favorite dish was the Whole Bream- perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Honestly, all the other dishes were delicious too, even the dessert. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone I know, great food, great vibes, and wonderful experience.

The dessert was absolutely amazing. I have never had one like this before, wondering where it originally comes from. It had cream on the top with a mix of fruits, bread and jelly inside. Loved it! Each dish comes in generous portions, and the atmosphere was just perfect. 😋🥰

I was very happy to dine here. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, very chill, quiet with lovely decoration. All the food we ordered, I feel it had influences from all over the world and it was delicious. We were very happy with all our dishes. The salad was ok. The drinks and the desert wasn’t very interesting, they were flat, nothing special. But I will definitely go back. I finally found a gem. Hopefully, they will introduce more cocktails and they will make the drinks stronger. It was like having a lemonade with herbs. The staff was also exceptional. Everyone was very well mannered, smiley and polite which made our experience even more pleasant. Thank you everyone that worked on New Year’s Day between 17.30-19.30.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at gold Notting Hill , and I can confidently say it's one of the best Mediterranean spots I've visited. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting—soft lighting, earthy tones, and cozy seating made for a comfortable dining environment. The menu offers a beautiful variety of modern Mediterranean cuisine, with fresh ingredients and vibrant flavour's. Couldn’t ask for a better service Would definitely recommend

The food here is creative, fresh and completely delicious. Anyone that has anything to say about British food should come here first. Our mains were the beef and the venison which were tender and flavourful, although my unexpected favourite was the Jerusalem artichoke tart. The service was attentive and friendly (I quite like the staff uniforms. They go well with the theme!). The atmosphere really felt like a converted aesthetic garden shed. It’s was warm and inviting, and complemented the food. Highly recommended!

This place is still great as ever. We hadn’t visited in way too long and popped in this evening for the Christmas tasting menu. Inventive and exciting dishes were served by an attentive staff. Cozy anytime, but especially around the holidays, The Shed does not disappoint. A great culinary experience all around.

Fantastic food. Love the concept of small, large and medium plates! Felt like we were eating a tasting menu with most dishes very well made. Attentive service from Kia. The marmite cigars were tasty and creative. Although I'm not a fan of goats cheese, the tarts with a burst of honey were amazing. Enjoyed the small pasta portion, perfect size when you want to try several dishes and great variety. Worth leaving room for dessert, was spoilt for choice with the lemon tart being light, zingy and refreshing. Broad bean hummus was fairly bland and mackerel wasn't anything special but wowed by everything else. Old fashioned banana rum cocktail was delicious!

This has to be my favorite dinner night of the year ❤️ Getting locked out of the flat turned out to be an unexpected gift for both me and the silly~ The atmosphere, the food, and the company made it truly special. He enjoyed it so much, and I couldn’t have been happier to spend time with him like this❤️ Highly recommend this spot for a romantic dinner!

Zephyr has to be one of my the BEST restaurants in London FACT. My boyfriend and I were absolutely blown away. The vibe was perfect, and the service was nothing short of impeccable. A huge thank you to Olivia, who truly made our lunch special. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your waitress, trust her recommendations - you won’t regret it! As for the food, it was out of this world. The cod dip, prawns, steak, and tuna are absolute must-haves. This place has officially set the bar for dining in London. We’ll be back again and again

Went for our anniversary and loved it! Staff were very friendly and also offered us two glasses of bubbles to celebrate. The price is a little steep but still fairly reasonable for what you get. Everything was good, especially the seabass carpaccio, and the lamb was so flavourful. Also such a cute restaurant!! Cant wait to come back for a girls night out.

Really nice restaurant in Notting Hill. The bread platter & dips were a highlight (loved the aubergine and tarama wow). Calamari & sea bass carpaccio was also very good! The potato and truffle was good but nothing special and did not like the Greek Meat Sausage dish (on the dry side). Lovely atmosphere with a bar downstairs & cocktails were great. This place is definitely on the pricey side so not sure if it was worth it value-money wise but was a nice meal.

Ordered: Pita Bread- really good char notes Tarama - the lime brought it to the next level Seabass Carpaccio - delicate, well balanced Beef tomatoes - one of the best tomato salads we’ve had Crispy Potato Terrine - light crispy shell Wild Prawns - excellent char and flavours. Prawns just cooked. Popcorn Chicken - spicier than expected, tender chicken pieces. Was looking to try their baklava but had no space left. Great service, food served promptly. Good food done well!!
