Great afternoon with group of friends. Lovely choice for Sunday afternoon, it wasn’t too busy at that time. Great service, very friendly and relaxed staff, delicious food as well as amazing deco and music. Highly recommend it!

Rich, decadent, and DEFINITELY meant for 2 people 😅 (which the menu and waitress warned me about, but I was determined to try it anyway).

Best Italian! Ask for Salvatore as your server. From the appetizers to the desserts, you will not be disappointed. They take reservations and have a good wine list. Food is fresh and in line with local prices. The atmosphere is so nice as are all the staff.

I felt so special here! Came for dinner and breakfast and I had an amazing time each visit. The staff is insanely personable & they’re always willing to help you better understand the menu. This place is worth all the hype it gets, I’ll definitely be back the next time I visit the UK.

I have had a problem with Indian food in the recent years. I was missing a reference point, great food wholeheartedly enjoyed. Worth remembering for the future to compare this to other places. Finally I found that place and it was Dishoom  Shoreditch. Amazing food, full of flavors and surprises, food where you think that you order too much of and then it turns out that it is so good that you have to finish it no matter what. Be prepared for a long wait for a table, but it is worth doing it. The wait time is sweetened - you wait at a bar serving very good  drinks. Once you are seated the food arrives quickly and is amazingly good. So for now I got my reference point for Indian food. Thanks Dashoom.

Absolutely speechless, What a nice way to celebrate the beginning of the new year and is easily one of the best meals I’ve had in the past months. The service is attentive, and the staff made sure that we were happy with the food from beginning to finish! There are no complaints bout the food either. I booked this place for the basque cheesecake but was equally blown away by other dishes. Highly recommend the wild mushrooms - slightly acidic with a smoky taste, and every bite comes with a different texture. Simple ingredients but execution is 10/10. The squid rice is absolutely phenomenal as well - tomato salad balances out the savouriness of charred rice, and as a result, the dish is a perfect combination of salty, sweet, sour and spicy. Oh and The squid is cooked to perfection. Really great place if you manage to get a booking. There were 4 of us and we managed to try more items on the menu. Highlights included the scallop, the quail, and the olive oil dessert. For a “nicer” dining experience this was also relatively good value for money. We were pleasantly surprised by the bill when we got it!

Top of the list for the best meals I had in London! Went for my boyfriend’s birthday and it completely exceeded our expectations! The oysters, the pigeon skewer, the beef tartare, the duck (with the best parfait I ever had in my life), the John Dory & the salad, and finally the olive oil ice cream they nicely prepared for our celebration were amazing choices that I can’t recommend enough! Can’t wait to return as soon as possible!

Excellent. From the minute you walk in you have the scent of a wood fire oven as you walk up the stairs to the second floor. We ate at the bar which I loved because it’s high seating and your front and center watching the chef and the his team in their open kitchen with an island in the center. Every item in the menu is made to perfection. The lamb was one of the best bites I had in all London when it comes to meats. Excellent culinary experience.

I visited this restaurant today for the first time with my boyfriend, we didn’t have a reservation but they accommodated us at the kitchen counter right where all the magic happens, we were lucky enough to watch the chefs do what they do best and it was amazing. Chef Rado and Leonardo really made us feel at home serving us their delicious food and explaining the cooking process of the dishes. What an amazing experience we will definitely be back!!!

Came for Sunday lunch. It smells great going in! Generally enjoyed the food - especially the brisket and wings - and the service was friendly and timely. Couple of small things for me: 1) It was pretty cramped in our area and the music vibe for a Sunday lunch wasn’t great. 2) only a couple of small sauce pots for the middle, and the pulled pork was more lumpy than pulled.

Very nice place for a delicious meat based meal, convenient located near Shoreditch High Street Station. The food is tasty and makes for a nice enough meal. Not too pretentious, which can be the case in the area. They have a good selection of both beer and cocktails, making for an enjoyable evening. Service can be a bit inconsistent when it comes to attentiveness, however, our server Johnny was fantastic! Super lovely, friendly, and jovial. Would not hesitate to come back.

It serves some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had in London! The gnocco is absolutely divine, and the Lambrusco wine pairs perfectly with everything. It’s a true hidden gem that I can’t recommend enough. However, the dining experience could be improved. The space is quite small, with tables very close to each other, which can feel a bit cramped. Sitting near the door on a cold day is particularly uncomfortable, as the door doesn’t close properly and lets in a chilly draft that’s hard to ignore. Despite the seatings issues, the incredible food makes it worth the visit.

Found this place on google maps and so happy we tried it. Made a last minute reservation for 6:30 and when we arrived the place was empty. That didn’t last long. With in minutes multiple walk-ins came as well as other reservations. By the time we left the place was full. Service was amazing and tentative for London. Allowed us time to enjoy our course without constantly checking in. The recommendations were wonderful and all the food tasted delicious. Highly recommend and can’t wait return to try new dishes. We went for a birthday dinner, and we couldn't have been happier. From the moment we walked into the dining room, the staff were warm and welcoming. The menu flowed at a great pace, and the dishes were executed perfectly, flavours were outstanding of every dish along with their descriptions. We must thank Em our Sommelier on the night and Paolo for their amazing hospitality throughout the night. We were super happy with the wine choice! It was truly memorable.

Outstanding experience. I had lunch here in mid-December and the food and service is incredible. The dining room is beautiful and is arranged so each table has a view of the kitchen. Nearly everything on the tasting menu is exceptional. The dishes have a good level of restraint applied to them so you end up with clean flavours and a clear display of the chefs' skill. With one exception, each course had a very strongly flavoured element - such as the pungent ginger in the sardine sashimi or the almond beurre noisette in the trout dish - which bought everything together in a well-balanced way. The best dish was the Orkney scallop with black truffle - great to see Scottish produce so prominent in a London restaurant. There were some hiccups, namely the dry-aged pork dish not being quite as good as the rest of the menu and the ice cream in the potato mouse being on the melted side - to be fair, the flavours were outstanding, and, as far as sweet and savoury desserts go, this was probably the best I've had. I didn't opt for the pairing but instead had a glass of champagne and Clos Lunelles from Bordeaux, which were both excellent recommendations from the sommelier. I don't think I can remember service at a restaurant being as good as it is here. If, like me, you haven't experienced something like it before, it's great fun to watch, and even better to experience in-person. The staff, whilst quite formal and professional, are very hospitable and accommodating, and do such an outstanding job in such an effortless way. The initial welcome is amazing if you've never experienced something like it before; going out of their way to greet you and make you feel comfortable, pulling your chair out, giving you a hot towel - I'm sure this is fairly standard for a lot of restaurants of this calibre but it was so special for me. The young members of the team are charming and very skilled for being at an early stage of their careers. Syah (I hope I spelled that right!) went the extra mile to make it a special experience. She is a star and was able to build rapport in such a natural way - I hope she goes far in hospitality because she's certainly got the talent for it! I would thoroughly recommend the Clove Club and if I had the money for it I would go there regularly.

Went for our wedding anniversary. We had tasting menu with wine flight. Staff were very professional and attentive. Food was good. I thought the wine could have been more equal, as there were differences between my husband's and mine, with me always getting a shorter measure. Despite paying the same price for each of us. When we mentioned it to the sommelier she didn't seem to be interested. Higher end in terms of cost so you want it to meet your expectations.

First time having Burmese food, flavours were absolutely fantastic. The Rakhine prawn and squid salad was fresh and tangy, was our favourite small plate. The Hake Masala was the highlight of the big plates and the Pandan Creme Brulee was so good we had 4!

Amazing sharing-plate style food that is just delicious! My partner and I shared 1 starter and 2 mains and some rice, but perhaps should have ordered less. It was all wonderful, with fantastic flavours. We took extra home and it was still just as good the next day!

Tasty food and reasonable prices. I got a vegetable curry and their flatbread which was tasty. They also have a good drink selection. I got a white wine which originally didn't arrive cold enough, but they allowed me to exchange it for another wine, which did arrive cold. As a starter we wanted to get the jungle chicken, which had run out but is supposed to be amazing. The waitress helpfully recommended the vegetarian fritters instead, which we liked.

Visited Laphet this week and was really impressed. The food was amazing and the service was very good. The octopus salad was insane and the beef curry was so nice. The only thing I thought that was maybe a little lacking was the atmosphere. It was a bit non existent. But overall I thought it was good and would come back again.

We had the best time, had the best food and the The service was amazing, especially from Romeo who treated us really well and was very funny and friendly as well as John and the other guy that had a sister called Maria. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Highly recommended.

Denzel is the best waiter I have seen for a long time. He was attentive and very sweet. The place is great value for money and I would definitely recommend for someone looking for a good and cheap steak - plus the best sides in London!

Went to Flat Iron for the first time and was definitely not disappointed, great for a spontaneous night out too. It was amazing meeting Denzel, pure and beautiful soul with excellent customer service. Due to lovely staff as well as lovely food, I will certainly be back.

Flat Iron will never disappoint! Always a good option for a quick bite if you happen to pass by, the meal is value for money, the atmosphere is great and the staff always polite and helful. Christian at Flat Iron in Shoreditch, was awesome! He was our waiter on Friday evening and I can definitely say his energy made our day! Such a great guy!
