Amazing food and super friendly staff! We ordered 3 rolls (Spicy tuna, Unagi and prawn rolls) and they were all sooo gooood! Highly recommended!!

I have had a problem with Indian food in the recent years. I was missing a reference point, great food wholeheartedly enjoyed. Worth remembering for the future to compare this to other places. Finally I found that place and it was Dishoom  Shoreditch. Amazing food, full of flavors and surprises, food where you think that you order too much of and then it turns out that it is so good that you have to finish it no matter what. Be prepared for a long wait for a table, but it is worth doing it. The wait time is sweetened - you wait at a bar serving very good  drinks. Once you are seated the food arrives quickly and is amazingly good. So for now I got my reference point for Indian food. Thanks Dashoom.

I visited Dishoom with friends for a brunch for a friend's birthday. The food and service was excellent. All the staff were friendly, wished my friend Happy Birthday throughout our stay, and were extremely courteous. We all enjoyed the meal and the birthday treat we shared on Dishoom. Half eaten before, we even recommended taking a photo. 😋 I would highly recommend Dishoom Shoreditch to others. Thank you!!

We celebrated a birthday here and our waiter made it special this following instructions of having the tiramisu tray as a surprise! The hosts were super unfriendly which was a bit of a shock! Food was good! Nothing amazing but was good and we had a great time.

Very clean. Brilliant staff, the vibe is vibing, Brittany was amazing and looked after us well. Drink are great too. Tacos are £2 and taste beautiful.

Excellent. From the minute you walk in you have the scent of a wood fire oven as you walk up the stairs to the second floor. We ate at the bar which I loved because it’s high seating and your front and center watching the chef and the his team in their open kitchen with an island in the center. Every item in the menu is made to perfection. The lamb was one of the best bites I had in all London when it comes to meats. Excellent culinary experience.

Absolutely speechless, What a nice way to celebrate the beginning of the new year and is easily one of the best meals I’ve had in the past months. The service is attentive, and the staff made sure that we were happy with the food from beginning to finish! There are no complaints bout the food either. I booked this place for the basque cheesecake but was equally blown away by other dishes. Highly recommend the wild mushrooms - slightly acidic with a smoky taste, and every bite comes with a different texture. Simple ingredients but execution is 10/10. The squid rice is absolutely phenomenal as well - tomato salad balances out the savouriness of charred rice, and as a result, the dish is a perfect combination of salty, sweet, sour and spicy. Oh and The squid is cooked to perfection. Been here multiple times. Lovely staffs. Great food. All from the barbecue. Recommend the lamb/mutton, duck rice, the big turbot if in season. Cocktails and wine list are impressive too.

Really great place if you manage to get a booking. There were 4 of us and we managed to try more items on the menu. Highlights included the scallop, the quail, and the olive oil dessert. For a “nicer” dining experience this was also relatively good value for money. We were pleasantly surprised by the bill when we got it!

Second time here and even better this time! We had the set menu which included so much food (salads, beef curry, sea bass, sambal, pork ribs, etc) ! Great variety. Great service. Efficient and friendly. Good selection of cocktails. Some of the dishes were quite spicy (which is how I like it). We spent £75 per head which included a cocktail and wine.

First time having Burmese food, flavours were absolutely fantastic. The Rakhine prawn and squid salad was fresh and tangy, was our favourite small plate. The Hake Masala was the highlight of the big plates and the Pandan Creme Brulee was so good we had 4!

Visited Laphet this week and was really impressed. The food was amazing and the service was very good. The octopus salad was insane and the beef curry was so nice. The only thing I thought that was maybe a little lacking was the atmosphere. It was a bit non existent. But overall I thought it was good and would come back again.

Amazing sharing-plate style food that is just delicious! My partner and I shared 1 starter and 2 mains and some rice, but perhaps should have ordered less. It was all wonderful, with fantastic flavours. We took extra home and it was still just as good the next day!

Denzel is the best waiter I have seen for a long time. He was attentive and very sweet. The place is great value for money and I would definitely recommend for someone looking for a good and cheap steak - plus the best sides in London!

Flat Iron will never disappoint! Always a good option for a quick bite if you happen to pass by, the meal is value for money, the atmosphere is great and the staff always polite and helful. Christian at Flat Iron in Shoreditch, was awesome! He was our waiter on Friday evening and I can definitely say his energy made our day! Such a great guy!

Visited this awesome steakhouse for my girlfriend’s birthday, Denzel has got to be one of the most enthusiastic waiters I have ever had the pleasure of meeting experiencing. If you’re coming here for the food (which is so good!) then come for this man’s service it’s incredible.

It serves some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had in London! The gnocco is absolutely divine, and the Lambrusco wine pairs perfectly with everything. It’s a true hidden gem that I can’t recommend enough. However, the dining experience could be improved. The space is quite small, with tables very close to each other, which can feel a bit cramped. Sitting near the door on a cold day is particularly uncomfortable, as the door doesn’t close properly and lets in a chilly draft that’s hard to ignore. Despite the seatings issues, the incredible food makes it worth the visit.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! Great staff and incredible food - just gutted we don’t live closer so we can’t visit often! However we will definitely be back next time we are in London! Thank you!

Really nice surprise. It was our first time and for sure we will come back. Very nice handmade pasta, authentic and awesome combination and menu options. Really affordable for the quality and the service that they deliver. They are very friendly and helpful explaining about the menu etc. Highly recommended to everyone that enjoy italian food.

Very nice place for a delicious meat based meal, convenient located near Shoreditch High Street Station. The food is tasty and makes for a nice enough meal. Not too pretentious, which can be the case in the area. They have a good selection of both beer and cocktails, making for an enjoyable evening. Service can be a bit inconsistent when it comes to attentiveness, however, our server Johnny was fantastic! Super lovely, friendly, and jovial. Would not hesitate to come back.

Came for Sunday lunch. It smells great going in! Generally enjoyed the food - especially the brisket and wings - and the service was friendly and timely. Couple of small things for me: 1) It was pretty cramped in our area and the music vibe for a Sunday lunch wasn’t great. 2) only a couple of small sauce pots for the middle, and the pulled pork was more lumpy than pulled.

I visited this restaurant today for the first time with my boyfriend, we didn’t have a reservation but they accommodated us at the kitchen counter right where all the magic happens, we were lucky enough to watch the chefs do what they do best and it was amazing. Chef Rado and Leonardo really made us feel at home serving us their delicious food and explaining the cooking process of the dishes. What an amazing experience we will definitely be back!!!

We had a lovely lunch meeting at Lyle’s this week. It’s the perfect atmosphere to sit and chat, the staff were attentive and personable. The mains were good, but the desert was truly memorable (ricotta ice cream with blackcurrant leaf oil).

Definitely one of the best experiences I had in London. The food was incredible, my personal favourite was the fish and the gazpacho. The desserts were great and the vegan one for me was mind blowing as I usually find them to lack flavour. We also did the wine pairing as well and thought it added so much to the experience. The only thing to improve I’d say is the timing, the wait especially in the beginning was a bit long and dinner ended up lasting a long time too.

If you like mackerel, then you would've loved the Mackerel & Gooseberry Toast. The richness of the mackerel was balanced by the tartness of the gooseberries and completed well with the suggested Riesling pairing. Next, the Tomato Gazpacho, Melon & Marigold delivered a refreshing twist on the classic gazpacho. The melon’s sweetness played off the acidity of the tomatoes, while marigold petals added a whimsical floral note. The Pollack, Artichokes & Preserved Lemon was equally impressive, with tender, flaky pollack paired wonderfully well with briny artichokes. The Duck, Beetroot & Pickled Green Fig was the star of the evening with texture and flavor. The duck was cooked to perfection—succulent and tender—while the earthy beetroot and tarty pickled fig created a vibrant explosion of flavors. The Fig Leaf Ice Cream, Blackberries & Meringue was a delightful and refreshing end to the meal. It had a unique and subtle flavor, while the blackberries added a touch of tartness and the meringue provided a delightful textural contrast. Overall, Lyle's offered a truly memorable dining experience. Their dedication to fresh, seasonal ingredients and inventive flavor pairings was evident in every course. Highly recommended for those seeking a unique and delicious exploration of modern British cuisine.

Such a fantastic lunch. The welcome was so warm and friendly. The drinks on point, and the food was so so delicious. Sometimes hyped restaurants fail to deliver. This exceeded my high expectations!! Loved it. Up there with the top restaurant visit of 2024 🙏🏼
