The pizza was amazing, closed to perfect. The dough was excellent, the tomato sauce delicious, the ingredients were all selected and fresh apart from the mushrooms (I would have chosen something wilder). I liked also the menu was classic and twisted, with some really good drinks. The service was great too, polite and professional. The ambience could be improved with some music in background. We'll be back to try more, definitely.

We tried to reserve a table but it was full. Luckily we got a table for 1 hour as walk-in customers. Thank you for that. The food was ok but frankly not the best pizza I've ever eaten (we ordered the one that they recommended/the popular one). I like bruschetta but they changed the menu since a few months ago, and bruschetta was not on the menu anymore. The toilet was ok.

This charming Italian pizzeria offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for a dinner with friends. The fried starters showed authentic Italian flavours and quality ingredients, while the pizzas were expertly crafted. The desserts were also delicious! The service was outstanding, particularly from a friendly blonde waiter bringing our dishes and a professional waitress who took our orders with genuine care.

Really the best pizza there is. I can’t wait to come back. Definitely recommend, but make sure to book your table, the place was very busy. Cheesewick pizza was unbeliveable, also had the mushroom one (don’t order if you don’t love mushrooms) and the one with nduja, which was really good as well.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing and has become one of my all-time favorites! I’ve been dining here for special occasions and have recommended it to my friends and family, who also loved it. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is outstanding. The manager, Scott, is truly one of a kind. Every time we go there, he personally comes over to check on us, making sure everything is perfect. He’s always friendly, attentive, and even makes us laugh, which adds such a personal and enjoyable touch to the experience. Just last Sunday, I went with some friends, and once again, we had an incredible time. Everyone loved the food, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We’re already planning to come back for my birthday because this place is just that special. I can’t recommend it enough!

My friend and I came for a roast here and it was one of the best roasts we’ve had in a while. I don’t usually leave reviews but what made it such a great experience was the excellent service - something you don’t see much these days at other pubs! Terrance was our waiter and he was just so brilliant - very friendly and attentive, even when it was busy!

Just decided to go to The Crown & Anchor to meet a friend, I had the best Fish & chips ever, it was massive to the point I couldn’t finish it and I have a big appetite, so it’s extremely generous. Pub is super clean and super cosy will definitely come back again. And Duncan is out of this world. Perfect parking nearby

Amazing freshly battered fish and chips. Great draught selection, been looking for Norwegian Red Ale for ages. Very friendly staff. Monday and Tuesday buy one get one free on burgers, pies and fish and chips. Great stop off

Went for the new owners first Sunday roast. Took my two teenage sons who both ordered the chicken. Half a chicken came out and their eyes lit up!! Obviously couldn’t finish but quality was excellent. I had the pork belly and left feeling rather pleased with myself. Might have been the two Guinness I had with said lunch?! Who knows. Service was impeccable. Manager, big ex rugby lad was a great laugh and looked after us like we were in his house for Sunday lunch. Great turnaround for a beautiful pub. Back to being my local

I had a wonderful experience in the Chiswick restaurant. Macjek & Matilde were amazing! they provided a professional and friendly service whilst celebrating my mothers birthday - thank you so much again, much appreciated! It’s staff like yourselves that makes a place inviting with your warm, friendly and efficient services.

A great night out, consistent food and service throughout the night :) we had the cheese soufle, mussels and pork belly, they were supper yummy and absolutely value for money. The wines were great and yummy and choices were enough for a great night out! Krishna was an absolute star of a host and made sure we felt our absolute best! Kudos to the team :)

Excellent restaurant. Everything was really good. The bacon salad, the steak and frites, the cheese board at the end.. the wine was a good pairing and at a good price. The waiter was fine with us and the food or friends ordered was also good for them. We spent some two hours focused on having a good time, laughing and nothing bad about the restaurant occupying our time. They deserve a 5 star.

Good location near Turnham Green Terrace and lots of nice local shops. Food was well cooked, steaks are always good here. Kids menu options were not bad. Set menu is always worth considering for a decent value meal.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had! Really fresh. I ordered the ‘Franco’s favourite’ and it was absolutely delicious - I found that they were generous with their toppings. I will definitely be back! The staff were also lovely.

One of the best sourdough pizza places in London. Only one thing to keep in mind it’s that they might burn it sometimes and I always find myself asking to not burn the pizza. Really good vegan options

Nicely located on the river, old English pub with descent if not transcendent Sunday lunch. Service was good but they were busy and occasionally we got lost in the rush. Definitely worth a visit

The Bulls Head, hugging the north bank of the Thames, just west of the railway bridge. A great pub offering a good selection of both cask and keg beers and ciders (keg). The service is great and friendly. This pub has more crooks and nannies (smelling not my strong point) than you chuck down the secret passage connecting the pub with Oliver's Island, the entrance is located right next to......sorry, can't say, it's a secret!! I particularly like the poop deck located on the west side of the pub, a gorgeous little room. A genuinely great riverside pub.

🚇 Gunnersbury 🍺 £5.85 Amstel The Bull’s Head is located on the banks of the river Thames overlooking Oliver’s Island in Chiswick. The nearest station is Kew Bridge mainline, I got the Overground to Gunnersbury. An Inn has stood on the riverside here for over 400 years, its most famous patron was supposedly Oliver Cromwell. This pub is Grade II listed and was built in the 18th Century. Actor Donald Pleasance lived next door. This pub is a warren of rooms with various nooks and crannies on multiple layers. The decor is traditional with some smart contemporary touches. There are two serveries located in the middle of the pub which are small but perfectly formed. Across the ceiling are oak beams, the floors are a combination of carpets, boards and tiles. There is plenty seating throughout which is all very comfortable. At the front of the pub are plenty of benches with great views across the river. The beer choice was good and offers a selection of three cask ales and a decent lineup of continental lagers. I decided on an Amstel, my pint was excellent, price point was below average which was pleasing. The food menu is pub classics, Fish & Chips costs £16.29. I arrived around 3pm on a sweltering Saturday afternoon in May. The pub was fairly quiet inside as most punters were soaking up the sun outside by the river. There was a lovely calmness to this pub, the various little sections mean you have a piece of pub to yourself. The service was first class, the chap who served me was engaging, upbeat and courteous. Visiting The Bull’s Head was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Even though the decor is smart, there is still “Ye Olde' Pub” vibes here. The starters were delicious. The schnitzel is a whopping £21 for just the chicken and a side helping of salad. They should come with a proper side - which even when I got the tarragon new potatoes they were unsalted and bland. There needs to be more of a vinegary slaw or sauerkraut to cut through the greasiness inherent in a schnitzel - the lemon wedge isn't enough unfortunately. Served with a few hand cut chips and a good sauce and this would be killer.

Had lunch here today and really enjoyed it. The Crispy Squid was amazing! It was perfectly cooked with a great crunch and a nice kick from the sauce. The whole vibe of the place is relaxed and stylish, the service was very friendly and efficient. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for great food and a chilled atmosphere, I’ll definitely be going back. Such a gem in Chiswick!

I went in for breakfast with my family and had the house breakfast, which was absolutely fantastic. The staff were so attentive and made sure everything was perfect, even though the restaurant was quite busy. We’ll definitely be back soon to try their lunch and dinner!

Overall: ★★★★☆ High Road Brasserie is downstairs from High Road House, part of Soho House. You can therefore expect a reasonably high standard and it did not disappoint. Nothing seemed to be a problem for the staff here and were all so lovely and accommodating. There was a good balance which they got right. A nod to the chefs for the presentation as well. In a nutshell (unlike this review, it’s reliable) Food: Brasserie style. Just had an exceptionally good full English breakfast here. Every ingredient cooked to perfection. Highly attentive, friendly and professional service. Paying £4 for a very small cappuccino stings a little. This is also the first time I've seen 14.5% service charge added to the bill but maybe that is becoming more common now in London. In all honesty I was so impressed by the service, I think they deserve it.

I had one of the best meals I have had in a long time, here. Every item ordered was so delicious and had huge portions. I came out of there absolutely stuffed and my belly was fully satisfied. The menu is small but it makes up for that with the quality and taste of its food. For starters we had the haddock soufflé and chicken liver parfait. The soufflé was so tasty and it came with a creamy sauce which elevated the dish even more and the parfait was smooth, creamy and delicious. For mains we had the special which was fried skate with capers. It came swimming in butter and was so decadent but so good. For dessert we had the tiramisu which was divine and is on my list of top 3 tiramisus I have ever had and I have had many! Perfect consistency with a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. My friend went as far as to say, that it was on par with Venice. The truffle fries with cheese also demands a special mention, so delicious and crispy with just the right amount of truffle which they did not skimp on, yum!! It was a Thursday night, not so busy which impacted the atmosphere as it felt empty. Also lost count of how many different waiters served us. All very friendly and helpful but too much attention and came round too often for my liking. Hence the scoring. Otherwise, great place for great tasting food. It’s not cheap, we spent around £95pp but the £55 charge for wine definitely contributed. Next time I will just go for a full bottle which is cheaper, rather than 2 half bottles. But overall worth a visit. Highly recommend, I am already planning my next visit there.
