Sharmin did an excellent job fixing our shower and replacing our old electric shower with a thermostatic one. Job was done in one day and he made a huge effort to not remove more tiling than was necessary. He was tidy and considerate and I would fully recommend him.

I go here almost every evening with my husband. The owner and the staff are very friendly, the latte and cake is delicious and the overall ambiance is fantastic..!!! By far the best cafe in Leyton..!!!!

I've been using Mr. Magic's services for years now, and he’s been fantastic! He helped me remove the old lighting in my previous house, and a year later, I called him back to install an EV charger and new lights in my new place. Magic & team provided outstanding service at short notice, stepping in to install 5 electrical boxes centrally in 5 classrooms during half-term in time for when the learners return. They were not only efficient but also maintained exceptional cleanliness throughout the job. In addition to the electrical work, they went above and beyond by including RJ45 cabling within heavy-duty conduit, which was a huge bonus for our setup. Highly recommend their expertise and professionalism – a top-notch job from start to finish!

Beautifully balanced coffee in such a lovely little independent place! It seems like it has such a lovely community atmosphere too for those who live around here. I’m not a local but I will def come back to this place for my coffee when I’m back.

Alice is a pillar of the Wood Street community! She looks after all of us, and it’s a bonus that she happens to make the best coffee in London. There’s always a treat available for the dog, and I daren’t visit my mum without one or two delicious gluten-free treats from Rebel Coffee.

An excellent professional service provided by Mike. Had a nest installed two years ago and has worked a dream. My tenant reported an error on the device two years later and Mike was immediately responsive and able to resolve remotely, I would recommend Mike anytime. This is your Nest Guy. If there was a sixth star Mike would get it.

I cannot rate Mike more highly, 10 stars if I could. We have 3 nest thermometers over 3 floors with underfloor heating in the whole house but the pumps have been wired incorrectly (I think?!) so only 2 work, so instead of one thermometer heating each floor, one thermometer heats two floors and one doesn’t work. Mike came round and explained the problem, explained what we had to do to isolate the problem (turn off each of the 10 pipes individually to work out which heats which room) and then call him back to sort out the final re wiring if we need. This will take us about 14-16 hours because of how slowly underfloor heating works. If he wanted he easily could have said he’ll come round and do it and charge for that many hours. What a true professional and so so honest and helpful. We couldn’t believe it and it’s so rare to find. He didn’t even charge the full call out rate!!! Thank you so much Mike. Our wallet really REALLY appreciates your honesty.

A real gem full of fantastic coffee! This was my first time trying a Cortado and it was excellent, really smooth and rich! This place is well worth a visit, it's very cozy and it has a great local feel and the proprietor supports local refugees by displaying their art and giving them training. Fantastic guy 👍

Had a really good and strong iced Americano and bf had a flat white. The guy serving was really chatty and friendly and gave us lots of walking tips as we were about to do a long walk from Walthamstow on the Victoria line. If around there again I'll definitely come back.

I attend a private Christmas party event at Aavo which was catered and drinks provided. The space available was perfect for a smaller scale event - there was a Bluetooth speaker available, cutlery/crockery provided and the full catering proceeded. The food was delicious and has definitely persuaded me to come back in the future. I’d highly recommend checking out the cafe and would recommend adding it the list if you’re looking for venues.

I highly recommend Aavo. I'm a local personal trainer and they recently helped me host a Christmas social for my clients where they let us have the space out the back in the evening. They worked to my budget and the catering and service provided blew my expectations away. We had such a fun evening and the food was delicious. Thank you Sapna and Bhavin!

Where do I start? Sapna and her family hosted us for my sister’s baby shower at Aavo Cafe , and I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the venue, food and hosts were! The venue is perfect for parties- very clean and spacious. It has a great covered outdoor space and an enclosed garden area. There were 20 of us and that included 5 children and there was still lots of space. Sapna was very accommodating and put on a lovely finger food spread , which consisted of kebabs , chaat, samosas and paneer. Food was incredible and went down a treat! If you’re looking for some flavoursome Indian street food and a good venue - this is the place! We will definitely be back again when I plan my son’s party! Thank you Sapna and family for being such amazing hosts x

Just popped in here for breakfast with my daughter and it was so good. The portion was very generous. I’m still full at 6pm today 😂 I had a masala chai- very creamy and aromatic. Then Bombay eggs with plenty of chilli, masala beans and a huge paratha. The food was beautifully spiced and delicious. My daughter had a cheese toastie and hot chocolate. It totalled £15. Great value. This is a place much more deserving of your custom than than the generic hipster caffs further down Wood street slinging £4 croissants and £4 coffees. Use it or lose it folks. Evening menu looks great as well 😎

I recently visited Tuto with two friends, and we had an incredible experience. A gem in the neighbourhood. We were pleased to pop in for a Friday night dinner. The steak and mushrooms risotto were tasty but we also needed to leave space for pud which made the perfect conclusion to our meal.

*Edit* This little cafe just gets better and better. The staff who work there are just incredibly nice people who go above and beyond. Is my Saturday treat every week 😍 Fabulous little family run cafe, the food is lovely and very reasonably priced. There can sometimes be a little bit of a wait due to its size and popularity, but it never bothers me.

Best pancakes I've ever had and my children agree. My favourite was the strawberry pancake with lashings of cream and strawberry coulis. Huge portions,.melt in the mouth and they tasted scruptious. To add, students get a 10% discount and 1 portion can be shared with 2/3 people.

We traveled from Romford to Fluffy Fluffy in Walthamstow, and it was absolutely worth it! The pancakes were incredibly soft and airy, paired perfectly with indulgent flavors.
