Really pleased with Highview Garage. I have had some bad experiences with some garages but I am so glad I found this one. They fixed my AC in the past. So, I returned recently got a full service and MOT. I couldn't believe they also sorted out my dented bumper for free! Totally amazing. Thank you so much guys. You are the best!

Fantastic service! Nick and his team were so happy and welcoming there is just such a good vibe between them, nick attended to me right away, talked me through the car issue and also gave me very informative advice and information I was unaware of after having my car for 5 years, also found them to be honest and saving me money and not adding extra things on, I usually hate going to a garage on my own but this is my new go to place! My car keys weren't working and the guys at reception and as I'd just got the batteries changed I thought it was something more serious. Turns out the batteries were flat. New batteries fitted in a matter of minutes and half the price of Timpsons!! Very very happy. Will definitely come here for my MOT.

1st went to Bansal Garage in 1995 for an oil change on an Audi. When I mentioned it to my father that evening he told me how the original Mr Bansal Senior was renowned in Essex for hearing and fixing faults by ear, especially on Mercedes Benz. He had an excellent reputation. My 2nd visit in 1996 was with a 190e Benz. Mercedes main dealer had quoted me £750 for the wiper motor and assembly. On collection Mr Bansal Jr asked me for £30. I thought it was the diagnosis fee, but he actually said it had been fixed as it was due to leaves and dirt clogging the wiper sweeping movement. Cleaned and working like new. He could have charged me £200-300 but he was unbelievably honest. Been back for the next 28 years and have sent 100+ others to him also. Always fair. Always honest. Almost always busy so call in advance. Lovely to see the skills passed from father to son. Highly recommended, no matter how far away you travel from. If only all businesses were run on the same morals.

Amazing work. Had a huge issue on the motorway with the gearbox and transfer box. This didn't defeat Jo and his colleague Lewis. They tried something in house, and then a specialist. Well worth the wait. They didn't stop at any of the obstacles to get me back on the road. Well worth the graft, time and patience they had put into it. Communication was great throughout and they delivered. I've been lucky to have some nice cars, and they always make sure the car is fixed, looked after and in showroom condition on collection. Really great service from all the team. I was recommended this garage after being let down by another ‘big name’ garage on several occasions. The staff here are very polite, keep you informed of progress on your car and diagnosed the fault and were quick with the repair. So far no issues with the work they have done. This garage has been my go-to place to get my car sorted out for over the last 5 years, and you simply will not find any better place. After carrying out diagnostics, they will repair what is needed by asking your permission, and anything which is slightly worn and torn but not yet at the stage where replacement is required, they will tell you that too. They will not rip you off! Reasonably priced too. As long as they never let me down in future, I would continue to use them and would not hesitate to recommend them either.

I needed headlight restoration. After getting some ridiculous quotes from a view garage's I gave this garage a try. Lovely lady gave me a price which I was more than happy with. The finish results were amazing, almost like new. I highly recommend this garage, especially if you own a classic car.

Left my car in recently for an MOT which, unfortunately, it failed as my tyres had degraded and were cracking in places. Like-for-like replacements were ordered same day and Chris stayed late to fit them ensuring that my car was ready for collection first thing the next morning. The most trustworthy place! For someone who has no idea about cars and their problems these guys have always been so helpful. Always explain everything and try to give me the best deal. This is the best garage I have ever used in over 20 years of driving. They always do a fantastic job, and always at a great price. They are true professionals – they know their stuff and are trustworthy. And they are a really lovely bunch of blokes, too. If, like me, you are clueless about cars, and you've felt that the garage people have seen you coming a mile off, I can tell you you won't ever feel like that with these guys.

I have been to a few garages in my life but none compares to this. Alex has consistently looked after my motor and you feel that he actually cares which is rare, all at a decent price too. I cannot recommend him more highly

MOTs are never a pleasure, it’s like waiting for a doctors tests results. But at Top gear it was a pleasure. The service was informative, friendly, quick, and honest. I just wish I’d used them sooner.

My first experience of using Top Gear garage and I have to say their customer service , knowledge and professalism was excellent. My car was smoking from the engine bay, potentially resulting in a very costly repair, however Alex (mechanic) undertook a comprehensive diagnostics and was able to totally repair my car at a hugely reduced price than I originally thought. Alex, great job...thanks mate and I will definitely be back for my future MOTs and services 👍. Highly recommend this local garage!!

Had my car repaired at Essex Road Motors and can truly say that it is a fantastic garage. Based in leyton, the mechanic Nick not only knows his stuff but when in doubt, he will get down to the root cause of any problems to solve them. Nick is an honest mechanic, excellent at what he does and an expert in his trade.
