I went to Beauty Around the Corner to have a shellac manicure and pedicure a few days before my wedding. The salon was very tastefully decorated, comfortable and relaxing. My nails were painted to perfection. I was, and am still so happy with them! I got lots of compliments on them on my wedding day. Louise did my pedicure and she did a marvellous job. She was very friendly, professional and attentive. Thank you so much, I'll be back! I would recommend them 10/10!

Nina offers exceptional service. Her work is absolutely stunning. She is a perfectionist. She not only does the manicure but she will also look after health of your nail. I never had long nails, Nina builded my nails from scratch, giving them healthy look and beautiful shape. Everyone’s been complimenting my nails—I love it! If you want to look at your hand and feel beautiful do not wait and book appointment! Double french or pastel french french are my fav🩷🩷I am with Nina for 4 years🩷

Precision and beauty!!! Couldn't recommend more. I've been visiting Nina to get my nails done for a couple of years now, and moved with her when she moved into her new salon in Wanstead. She's so so good! I've never known a nail tech to take such good care of my nails, and to prep and paint my nails with such precision. She's incredible! Yes, a manicure with her may be a little more expensive than your average salon, but mine always last for 4 weeks which makes it so worthwhile! As someone who goes to the gym loads, I find getting gel with a liquid base keeps them super strong and I can throw weights around without them chipping.

I recently visited Nina's nail salon and couldn't be happier! After trying many others, I can confidently say this is the best. Nina's attention to detail and skill is outstanding. The salon is clean and welcoming, and my nails look fantastic. If you're looking for top-notch service, I highly recommend Nina!

I had my first visit to B&R Wanstead today and couldn’t be happier with the experience. J was absolutely amazing! I often feel a bit anxious about trying a new hairdresser, but J made me feel comfortable right away. They really took the time to understand the color and style I wanted, walking me through various options with great care. Their attention to detail throughout the process was incredible, and the final result surpassed all my expectations! Highly recommend!

Just love this friendly welcoming Hair & Beauty Salon! I always feel at home here and very relaxed… my hairstylist Danielle is excellent she really knows her job and will talk through with you what you want or what your trying to achieve. Always helpful and very conscientious in what she is doing. So happy with her hair styling and colouring skills! All the staff are very approachable and make you feel welcome. Danielle always does an amazing job with my cut, colour and styling, ensuring that my hair turns out exactly as I want it to look. Love my visits to see Bal and the girls at the salon, they are all so friendly and guaranteed to make you feel relaxed and listen to what you want and accommodate, nothing is a chore. I’ve recommended Bal to many of my friends and family and they would agree she is the queen of eyebrows and all things PMU! If I can travel down from Scotland anyone considering permanent makeup Bal is your lady no distance is too far.

This salon offers a truly exceptional experience. The staff is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. One of the best facials I have had. Shakira was super informative about all the concerns I had with my skin and she was very helpful and recommended me lots of skincare products that would be good for my skin type. The facial itself felt like a spa experience as it was so relaxing. Shakira did not rush the treatment which I loved and enjoyed to the fullest. I would definitely be coming back again. Was looking for a new salon after moving, happened to visit and was booked in with Charlene who I have since gone back and rebooked. At my last appt I went from being dark to light. Firstly, Charlene was incredibly accommodating after a booking error and went out of her way to fit me in around childcare. Secondly, she was so professional and followed my brief to a T. She gave me advice where necessary with the colour I opted for and didn’t over promise. The outcome was better than I could have imagined. My hair looks and feels beautiful. So so so happy with the service and recommend Charlene to anyone who might be hesitant to try a new hairdresser. Not only is she amazing with getting her colours spot on but she is so down to earth and friendly which makes salon chat so much easier! Just brilliant - me and my two boys all get our haircuts here. You couldn't hope for a better barbers - everyone is welcome and everyone is welcomed. My eldest hated haircuts before visiting Paul and Ian. They put him at ease and treated him with unparalleled patience and kindness - he now loves going enjoying the jokes and banter. Would give it 6 stars if Google allowed.

Took my 2.5yr old for his haircut & was very happy with the experience & outcome. They were friendly, welcoming & the buses going past were a big hit. My husband also goes here & is a little gem of a find.

Love this place. My son and I have been going there for 5 years. Paul and Ian are talented and great fun. Banter is superb and they are clearly loved judging by the amount of people who pop in to say hello.

A really good, well priced local barbers just off Wanstead High Street. I’ve been going in here for years. Our kids get their hair cut here too.

Love, love, love, Hair Candy… I’ve been doing my nails with them for almost 10 years and Lisa and her team are awesome. I recently tried another salon a couple of times, as I was visiting with a friend, but have come back to my favourites because they’re unbeatable in terms of service, atmosphere, and the quality of the nails. They always take special care of their customers too, with nice touches such as a gift of hand cream… highly recommend.

I regularly get my hair cut and coloured at Hair Candy Wanstead and always have fantastic service. They are always happy to have a consultation prior to starting to ensure they know exactly what you want and explain what they are doing and how you can look after your hair at home. Today I went from blonde to brunette after a long time of bleaching my hair and I am so happy with the results! Thank you Kinga!

I have been coming to the salon for a while now - i have facials every 6 weeks. Had my first Decleor bespoke facial with Ellie today (new therapist for me but my regular facial). She was really professional and the facial massage in particular was wonderful. As a new client for her she had looked through my notes and took time to explain what she would be using. I had the rose mask today - which was new for me and it was lovely. I would highly recommend both Ellie and the treatment - 15 minute back massage is also included. I felt incredible relaxed and rejuvenated after the treatment. Looking forward to my next treatment.
