It’s always such a great experience going to see Mazeda. She makes you feel so relaxed and at ease and like you are chatting away with an old friend. Hollywood wax is the least painful I have ever experienced, and is also very quick! Would highly recommend

I had a great experience in the expert hands of Mazeda! Welcoming, kind, professional, clean, fast and super nice. Treatment was spotless and I didn’t even get my usual redness thanks to the good quality products used. it was so nice I wished it lasted longer… 10 stars!!

I have been coming to Salotto for a very long time (and I followed Marco here after he left his previous salon) but I suppose it's time I stop gatekeeping. Marco and Fabio are the absolute best and sweetest in the business and I recommend Salotto to all of my friends. It's a welcoming, fun, and inclusive environment and they really listen and consult with you to make sure they get your vision right and you will be happy with the outcome. I trust and adore both of them completely!

I was a bit worried as my old hairdressers closed down. Hair is important to me lol and when you get the right person to do it for so long, it can be difficult to move on. I tried here because of the reviews and its location and I’m glad I did. Fabio was fantastic, really nailed what I wanted, gave really good suggestions and was super nice to boot. Definitely recommend. Will be coming back for sure!

I've never been so happy with a haircut. Normally it takes me some time to acclimatise but I was so pleased with how it looked the moment I walked out of the salon. Ann is wonderful, I only gave her a vague idea of what I wanted but she still managed to give me the exact cut I had in mind. So pleased to have found a hairdresser who is local and brilliant!

I've been getting my long hair cut and coloured here for a few years and I was SO relieved to finally find a salon that I'm confident I'll leave happy every single time! Hannah genuinely cares about her clients - I always feel like I've really been listened to and received an amazing personalised service. It's also a lovely space with a gorgeous little garden outside, plus they use ethical and sustainable products. Can't recommend Haven enough!

Ann has been cutting my hair for a long time, she is without doubt highly skilled, friendly and professional. If you’re not sure what you want (even tho’ I do) she has a great sense of style to have you walking out the door looking good. Her expertise with colouring is second to none too. Talia is the only hairdresser I’ve had where I’ve genuinely walked out happy. I first met her when she worked in the Greenwich shop and she did a great job colour correcting my hair. I’ve since then had a balayage which still looked great after 6 months! My third appointment with her and in love with my new hair 😍

Isaac did an amazing job with my hair! He has fantastic attention to detail and lots of creative suggestions, but really listened to what I wanted from my hair, too. He also understood the different needs of curly hair and brought my curls back to life. Can't recommend him enough.

I've been coming to see Moon for my haircuts for the past few years. Not only they have great hairdressing skills - they know how to deeply listen to you with attention, love and care - I've always left the salon with exactly what I had in mind. I just got back from Something Good and had a haircut with Enzo, and I absolutely love the result! He’s super friendly, really listened to what I wanted, and took his time to make sure everything was perfect. He also recommended some products and treatments for my bleached hair, which I really appreciate. I could tell he’s truly passionate about his work. Ive been coming here a few years cuz it was my local salon in Hackney. Nice atmosphere and always good tunes on - makes a difference when you have to spend a while somewhere! I get my hair cut by James who’s super lovely and I’m always happy with the results.

Highly recommend Chedia (Dalston Salon)❤️ After having a stylist somewhere else ruin my hair when going blonde (balayage) before I was hesitant to try again as it took years to recover from it. But after giving birth to twins I wanted a change and am so glad I chose Chedia for it. She understood what I wanted (natural looking balayage to ease into going blonde this time) whilst giving me realistic advice on what can and can't be achieved during the first visit whilst keeping my hair healthy and keeping the hairstyle low maintenance suitable for a new mum who can't always come back for touch ups. My aunt in Germany is also a hairdresser and seeing my videos and pictures and explaining to her what Chedia had advised me, she agreed with each step which is very rare for her. So double approval for her work 😜 needless to say she is going to be my hairdresser moving forward. The shop itself is super cute and the team makes sure you are hydrated with free beverages of your choice throughout your stay which is fabulous. Everyone was super friendly and added a nice atmosphere. Great music also in the background at a good volume to relax but still be entertained. Before and after pics attached

Shedia at Dalston is the best - she's not only fantastic at colour, cut and styling she's super lovely and respectful of how you want to do things. I don't like to talk much when I go for my hair and after a quick catch up she leaves me in peace to enjoy the process of having my hair done and never makes me feel bad for doing so. She is always open to changes and again never makes you feel bad or uncomfortable for saying 'please can we change this'. She's great, the rest of the staff are always so welcoming, and can't do enough for you, always checking if you need a refreshed drink etc. Great salon, very reasonably priced, 100% recommend to anyone.

Got my hair done by Sarah at the Dalston branch and had such a lovely experience. Such a friendly and kind hairdresser who knows her stuff. It’s super affordable here for a cut and blow dry, so i def recommend. A beautiful space and beautiful team!

Abbie is the best! I’ve been coming here for a few months now and it’s always the nicest experience. The salon is gorgeous, relaxed and the tea selection is 10/10. It’s one of those salons where you can actually chill out while you get your hair done and have some pampering. The whole team are friendly and genuine. Abbie has taken my hair change to the next level with great suggestions for where we take my style next when I’m stuck for ideas. Lucky me to have had my hair cut and coloured by Abbie a number of times at the serene and exquisite Glasshouse salon. Believe me, I've worked my way through a good few colourists in London and I confidently say Abbie is truly stand-out. I went to her originally with a vision and she made it real beyond my wildest dreams. But in a way that really suited my hair and lifestyle. I feel she brings her characteristic edge and flair to the creative direction of my hair but in a liveable style. I love catching up with her and she seamlessly meanders between engaging in a good chat and giving me space to be still and silent. She makes me feel beautiful and I leave the salon feeling so treated. The Glasshouse salon is a little oasis in East London. It is so peaceful. All the staff who work there bring a fantastic, kind and positive energy and you can feel that from the moment you step-foot.

Abbie for cut and colour - I will do anything this woman tells me to do when it comes to my hair. Scalp treatment? Love it. Ammonia-free colour products? Into it. The cute little hat you have to wear during the treatment? Wore it with pride. The salon is a vibe, the little design details didn't go unnoticed, everyone is so nice and welcoming. I just love how chilled and relaxed it was, even though it was busy. Very chic. Very demure. Very mindful. Very going back again in 8 weeks.

Mel is a wizard. She is a strong and stable genius. She is creative, warm and open to any crazy and fun designs. Pay this woman to do your nails, brows, lashes or waxing - you won’t regret it! Erika is amazing, the best hairdresser I've had in London. She is very professional, listens carefully to what you'd like and always checks mid cut as well. I've been coming for cuts and colour for over a year and leave happy every time. As well as being professional she is lovely and very funny. The studio is also in a great location, relaxed and good options for coffee etc close by if you are there for a while getting colour done. Always a pleasure to visit Erika at Alkaline.

Recently moved to the area and was recommend Erika. She has managed to turn my difficult miserable curly hair in to a happy head of curls and colour ( balayage). I recently had my hair done by Liz, who plaited it into single plaits. Given my busy schedule, it's often difficult to find time for hair appointments, but Liz was very accommodating and scheduled me for 7 AM.
