Been coming here for more than 15 years and i can tell you for having tried hair salons all over the world, that this is by far the best hair salon ever. Erkan the owner is so knowledgable, will truly listen to what you want and is so kind. Every hair cut and highlights I’ve done are always an absolute masterpiece. Erkan is passionate about hair and his priority is always making his clients feel special and heard. Erkan works with integrity and honesty. Every person that works at Hairjes is always so nice and warm. 100000% recommend this hair salon, trust me, you’ll do yourself the greatest favour by going there. I had an absolutely incredible experience at this salon today! I originally made an appointment to get my brows done at the eyebrow studio inside the salon, but I was so impressed by the atmosphere and the amazing people when I came in that I ended up getting my hair done as well. I even canceled my original hair appointment at another salon the same evening. First, my brows—wow! The brow artist was phenomenal. She was incredibly kind, took the time to discuss my brows with me, and made sure she understood exactly what I wanted. That level of attention is so rare! Usually, brow services feel rushed, and I end up with a shape I don’t love, especially because my brows are naturally curly and dark. But she threaded and waxed them with such precision that they are now perfectly shaped to my face, lifting my features while still looking full and natural—exactly what I wanted. I don’t even have to touch them up! I’m beyond in love with them, and she is now my go-to brow lady. As for my hair, the entire salon team was welcoming, diverse, and so friendly. Julie, who did my shampoo and wash, was amazing! She massaged my scalp for a long time, used a treatment that made my hair feel incredibly soft, and took her time instead of rushing through like I’ve experienced at other places. My hair felt refreshed, clean, and smelled amazing. Then came the haircut and blow-dry, which was beyond my expectations. Erkan transformed my curly, frizzy hair into a light, soft, and beautifully shaped cut. The precision in the cut made my hair look shinier, my color stand out more, and gave me a style I can easily manage. I left the salon feeling not just confident but genuinely happy. I have been trying to find a salon that I can trust for a long time and I can finally say that I have found it even though it was a random encounter! What stood out the most was the warmth and energy of the whole team. Their attention to detail and the way they genuinely cared about making each client feel their best made this experience unforgettable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Alessio did my hair and honestly wow. He was so gentle with the wash, gave me an amazing massage. He cut my hair exactly how I wanted it with the perfect layers and the blowout was amazing. I asked for some waves/curls. I am definitely going to make this my regular hair salon!!

I randomly popped in because I needed my eyebrows threaded while I’m on holiday and they were so friendly and fit me in to get them done. The lady that did the service was so lovely and double checked what I wanted for shape and took extra care to make sure I liked the result. I can’t thank them enough for making my day.

Exceptional cut, amazing customer service from start to finish, Andy and the team went above and beyond. Great hairdresser! Andy and Mary are very friendly and always make me feel welcome.what i really appreciate is that Andy listens to what i want and doesnt cut my hair as short as he wants ! I feel safe in the knowledge he wont cut my hair as he thinks it shoukd look instead of how i like it ( happened to me too many times at other salons!) Friendly, good and lovely. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Amita for 9 months now. The first time I went I was a bit nervous about the effects of the wax but she was very gentle and I’ve done my full face wax and threading regularly. My brows always look great. She’s very professional with all types of body waxes as well and I always feel comfortable.

A brilliant experience. No hanging around and straight to it. Turning my darkest brown hair to blonde in a 6 hour period is no easy feat. Bleach didn't irritate my scalp and my hair still feels soft. Big thank you to Freya and Jenny for doing such a wonderful job.

A surprising tardus type salon on 2 floors tucked away from the madding crowds of Portobello road and Westborne grove. Its nestled amongst artisan chocolate shops and pristine cafes. Be aware there is no disabled access at the entrance which l suggest they consider remedying during 2022. I didn't ask if they had a portable ramp. The lighting isn't strident, the decor vaguely Moroccan ( photo of bench seat) and the seats comfortable. The staff are really polite and it's obvious they have a loyal customer base. Every effort was made to lift my petite 5 ft 2 inch frame high enough at the sink so l didn't get a wet back during my hair wash. That extra care was much appreciated. I walked in looking like a dull grey root haired lady and l emerged an elegant plum plumed swan. What a difference majirel colour makes to your confidence. I had a public event the next day at which l made quite an impression. Thank you Erin for the much needed transformation.

Tom at Hari’s was fantastic. Took the time to really understand my hair and what I was looking for and gave me just the right haircut that works for my hair type, face structure, and lifestyle. She listened to my preferences and offered great advice on what would suit me best. The salon itself had a great atmosphere, very chic and modern. Ava was so skilled; she applied the colour with precision and care. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. The end result was exactly what I had envisioned – the colour was vibrant, and the blend was seamless. I left the salon feeling confident, and the colour has held up really well. I had a session of laser hair removal with Simone (there are two she said she was the older one :) and could not recommend her more !!!!
