It is a very good place to eat quality African food, listening and dancing to African vibes. I would recommend it to those who want to celebrate special occasions and birthdays. The interior decorations is top notch 👌🏻

Went to the Grill with my family for a meal and a catch up. Service was attentive and prompt. We ordered quite a lot of food and it all arrived on time, nicely presented, and at the same time so noone was left out. Everything was delicious, the mac and cheese is amazing! A big thank you to Ali for accommodating us at short notice and being so kind to us during our visit.

The Pina Colada was divine—perfectly blended with just the right balance of flavors. We ordered the Family Feast, which was a brilliant choice. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The lamb chops were tender and packed with flavor, while the chicken was succulent and expertly prepared. The portion sizes were generous, and the overall quality was excellent. Not only was the food amazing, but it was also great value for money. The restaurant's location is very convenient, right next to Stratford with easy access, and they offer free parking in the evenings—a huge plus! The food and service never fails! Thank you to the manager Ali for your service. It’s always a good vibe here. We had Mac and cheese, Brazing burger, mash and bbq ribs. Delicious and would definitely return! The price point is also very good and affordable. Portion sizes are great too.

Great dining experience! Very succulent jerk wings and tender shrimps. Food was in good portions and nicely seasoned. The staff was hospitable and generous. Guava & watermelon Mojito tastes tropical and fresh. Give it a try if you are in Stratford.

I had an absolutely amazing experience! I started with the jerk wings, which were full of flavour and cooked to perfection. For the mains, I enjoyed the ribs and jerk donner – both were delicious, tender, and packed with that signature jerk spice. To top it all off, the house-made mojitos were the perfect refreshing touch. What really stood out was the exceptional service – the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. I can't recommend this place enough, and they definitely deserve a full 5-star rating! I’ll definitely be back.

Very nice food and exemplary service, the short ribs was very tender and had a lovely sauce, the churros desserts was very tasty and was fresh. The service from the team was amazing as always. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. It's also in a halal environment without music and suitable for families.

Just got back after a delightful meal with my family at Slice of Meat. Everything was delicious but the curry goat topped them all! Portion sizes were extremely generous. Mojitos were refreshing, especially the lychee mojito. We finished of our meal with hot, freshy made churros and ice cream. Cannot fault the service here, we were made to feel very comfortable by the owner and his staff. Would definitely recommend this place and we can't wait to go back soon.

Usually I do not like hotel buffet because of how dirty it is and how there are very few options, This is not the case at Elondi, Elondi breakfast buffet is very clean with many options to chose from and staff goes around and makes sure everything is clean, The chefs and cooks go out every 10 minutes and refill the buffet and make sure everything is clean The food is delicious with many options to chose from The seating is very relaxing and quiet. I was able to enjoy breakfast with my mum and had a wonderful time.

If you don't know what to eat and need a safe option, this is one of the places to go. I have the pork Sunday roast; the meat isn’t dry, with no burn mark, which is a good sign! As I hate to see my food is burned…😅 The pork belly is a bit salty and peppery, but this still wasn’t able to cover the taste of the pork. Eating it together with any of the vegetables is a good combination as there isn’t any seasoning on the vegetables that balances out the saltiness. The mushroom ravioli (vg) option isn’t too bad either. They do give a lot of mushrooms!!

The Chicken with Potatoes at [Big joes] was outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside—while the roasted potatoes were golden and deliciously seasoned. The flavors were simple yet elevated, with a light sauce tying everything together beautifully. A comforting, satisfying dish that I can't wait to have again!

Received by the boss, no air conditioning but we installed a fan. Very good Caesar salad and margarita too. Very good iced vanilla latte. top service. Beautiful decoration. We will come back

Ive been going here everyday for almost a year now and its great customer service and food every single time. Very affordable and there is also Halal full english breakfast options which i find to be very rare. Great find, would recommend every time.

I have been few times at Big Joe’s in Stratford, and it is always an all-around fantastic experience! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. You can tell the chefs here really care about quality ingredients and crafting meals that leave a lasting impression. The staff was equally impressive. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It's clear they’re passionate about what they do, and they really go out of their way to make sure guests have a great experience. Big Joe’s has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for any occasion, and I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend if you're in the Stratford area and looking for a memorable meal.

Really magnificent place, we were recently both for breakfast, they serve an excellent cappuccino with an Italian blend, but also in the evening to eat excellent burger and craft beer! complements to all the staff!!!

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we enjoyed every last minute. From the drinks to the food but that was eclipsed by the service. We were looked after impeccably by Michael who suggested drinks, food but above all great chat. Highly recommend Jim & Tonic and hope you get looked after by Michael.

Great local pub, cafe, restaurant. Fantastic outdoor space. Great design and interior. Decent breakfasts. Decent pub food. Great location. Staff are hit and miss. There are a couple of amazing and friendly staff members and a couple of slow/not so helpful ones. Fantastic drinks, gin and cocktail selection. I come here a couple of times a week. Dog friendly.

Everything was wonderful! Food, staff, the place is superb. I came without a reservation and they welcomed me very kindly, telling them it was my birthday, they also surprised me by singing happy birthday to me. I recommend this restaurant with all my heart. This location is more than 5 stars satfull is amazingly attentive to you and the service they do and the food is wow, I had as whiter Mr Leno I was delighted with him as he took great care of our table , and the biggest surprise was on my friend's birthday when they brought dessert. I highly recommend this place.

This is our new favourite restaurant for a nice evening out with friends, and I cannot wait to take the family out here next time.

Had an interesting mix of flavours and textures in my Balkan breakfast (see photo) which worked very well. A mixture of breads, paste, eggs and sausages. My other two friends had the very tasty shakshuka and pancakes. A lot on the upside, drinks good and decent price, location, setting atmosphere but just wish waitresses weren’t so surly … the owner however was very pleasant and chatted with us at our table. I’ve been a few times and will go again. Good value for money at least the brunch items we had which included a glass of sparkling for £6. Go try the out the varied menu.

Was looking for something different for my partner's birthday. Loved it. Quirky location, great atmosphere, fantastic food and fast and friendly service. Loved the cocktails, oysters and fish specials of the day. Everything is well put together and sticks to the theme. Great vibe and music too. We'll be back. Only small thing to improve could be catering to special bookings. I stated in my reservation that it's my partner's birthday. Of course not mandatory at all but it's always nice when places add that tiny bit of extra for the special occasion. Could be a small desert with a candle. Just as a cherry on top.

Our second visit for a Sunday Roast and the food was incredible. The truffle cauliflower cheese is a little pricey as it’s a large portion (more than enough for 3 people). If they could also offer a smaller option for one that would be amazing! Staff are fantastic and the boat is really cosy on a cold winter day.

I was invited there for dinner by my sister and her partner. To be honest, at first I was kind of sceptical about what kind of a place it is since it looks a bit deserted outside. However, it turned out to be a total surprise for me in the end. I was amazed by the taste of all the dishes I ordered (focaccia with a mushroom butter, pumpkin soup and Angus ox cheeks as starters; fried aubergine with crispy lettuce touches and the onglet steak with the delicious sauce 😋). I would have had a dessert afterwards but sadly we didn’t have much time for that because we had to catch the basketball game in the end. All in all, it was a great experience with excellent & quick service by experienced staff in this small boat! ⛴️

The other day, I had dinner with friends at Barge East. When I first arrived in the evening, I thought the place was closed or empty. But as soon as I stepped inside, I was blown away by the ambiance they had created on the boat. The lights and candles set such a cozy, magical atmosphere that we instantly fell in love with it. I was especially happy to find draft beer on such a small boat. Every dish we tried was amazing, with each bite offering a different burst of flavor. We started with focaccia, which came with a mushroom butter that was absolutely delicious. The pumpkin soup was incredible, and the Angus ox cheeks we had as a starter were outstanding. For the mains, the aubergine was a flavor explosion! However, the onglet steak had a slight odor that I found off-putting—though it might just be because I’m quite sensitive to it. Other than that, everything was perfect. The service was excellent, and the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. They are doing an amazing job on this small boat—truly impressive!
