Lived quite close to this cafe so would call it my local. But that's not why I'm going to rave about it.Food excellent. West end food at east end prices. Then the staff euro girls first class and the boss is an absolute gentleman. Credit where credit is due.

Very clean. New coffee lounge. Lovely atmosphere and well furnished. Staff/owner very friendly. A great place to have coffee with friends/family. Very reasonable prices and serve great coffee too. Order at counter and table service if staying in. Noticed they also offer milkshakes even though it wasn't on menu so if not seeing on menu don't be afraid to ask. Vanilla iced coffee is my new favourite. Will be my go to place to hang out locally. 2023 visits - still the same. Prices are still far more reasonable in comparison to the chain stores.

This place has become my favourite place to get coffee. Great service and the coffee is always excellent. Far better than any of the chains and you also support a small independent business. I would recommend to anyone. 5/5

Great coffee from a great host. I came here the other day (working in the area). The gentleman that served was very polite and they stay open later than a regular coffee shop (very handy when working late, or even if your local and just want a good evening coffee). There is also a lounge at the back so it’s also a really nice place to hang out and catch up with mates or so. If you’re local to here then do check it out!

Hi, This is my local coffee shop. I visit very often and usually purchase a medium cappuccino and a hot chocolate for my partner along with lemon cake and chocolate fudge. It tastes great. Overall customer service is fantastic and as a frequent visitor I enjoy the ambience, lighting and overall mood of the cafe. Live football is available. The owner is very hospitable and takes care of you. The shop has wheelchair access and the doorway easily fits a double pushchair as well. Very economical prices and generally well presented throughout. There is free parking outside which is on a first come first basis. Kid friendly. Regards

My first time in the area so I popped in for some lunch. I found the cafe to be so cosy and homely. My food was delicious and I felt extra care when ordering due to my allergies. The young chef who took my order was very friendly and attentive! This place is a gem in the area - serving your classic cafe foods and more! Definitely worth coming

First time visit with some cycling friends, they happily packed down outdoor table and chairs to make room for 🚲🚲🚲 out front. Service was excellent, and food and drinks warm and plentiful. Shared the mushroom omelette, which came with chips & salad between 3 of us! Will revisit.

I'm not a coffee man but my wife is and they have been in love with this place for the 3 years since we've moved here! Great coffee, lovely owner called Don who always welcomes you in. I don't drink much coffee but they make good hot chocolates and great cold lattes for the summer - I recommend their cold caramel latte! You can order your drinks on the Embargo app as well so it's ready for when you arrive, and I think delivery too but I haven't done that yet.

Angel Cafe

145 London Rd, Romford RM7 9QH, UK | Cafe
P: 01708 606333

Rating: 4.8 (54) Price Level:

I used to use a different cafe on London Road even though Angel Cafe is next door to me but I stopped going to the other cafe because I was just fed up from the miserable staff and the owner not even acknowledging or talking with customers. I have thoroughly enjoyed my recent visits to the Angel Cafe though I was sceptical about trying something such as Egg Florentine in such a cafe. All I can say is go to the Angel Cafe and have the Egg Florentine with a Cappuccino and you will not be disappointed. I was amazed at how good it was. It is also nice to have friendly staff who actually speak with you and good service.

This is a small caf on a busy road. The staff is super friendly. I went here with a friend for breakfast on a Saturday. We went around 11 am and there was no one else there, but shortly after we sat down and ordered, 4 other groups came in. It was still a pleasant and quiet atmosphere. The servings are huge! And not too expensive. And everything was delicious. And it came out of the kitchen quite quickly. I'd definitely eat here again and could easily see this becoming a "go-to" place for weekend breakfasts. Bonus: they have outdoor! The interior is Elvis-themed which is fun.

This was such a lovely café, from the moment we sat down to when we left, the staff made us feel welcome, and was very attentive. We both had the full English it cost us £10:95 but it was worth every penny. It was a lovely atmosphere and although very busy in there we didn't have to wait long for our food. It was also very clean. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Food was nice and although the staff at the back were having a personal row, Linda who served us was really friendly and nothing was too much. I visited twice that week and on the second time, she was so kind to my mum who couldn't eat all her food so she packed it up for her to takeaway. Really lovely coffee. Pie wasn't so nice as it was a bit soggy and not fresh but the Cajun chicken was delicious.
