“Our first visit today where we decided to stay and have breakfast. Early morning the baked goods are fully stocked and the kitchen is open. All the food was delicious and freshly prepared. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. The coffee is great too! Next time you’re in the area I highly recommend a visit.”

“Our absolute favourite breakfast place in Richmond. The owners are so welcoming and recognise regular customers, which makes such a diffrerence. We’re gutted that the pandemic has prevented us from eating in for months, but the takeaway food is always such high quality and great value for money. The egg and bacon panini is my favourite option on the menu (pictured here), and we order these frequently as they are delicious!! A must visit for anybody in Richmond looking for a great breakfast! Highly recommend.”

“Visited Eileen's twice during a short break near Richmond Park, once for a full on Breakfast, and again for some wonderful homemade cake and coffee we also took away slices of their festive turkey and mushroom pie, for an evening snack. Their food is delicious and at £8.50 for a fried breakfast you can't go wrong. The location right on the Thames makes it idyllic and it's within walking distance of the town centre. I can't recommend Eileen's enough.”

“My favourite coffee shop in Richmond! I tried their batch brew for the first time after the staff recommended it to me. It was incredible. Classic and balanced. The choice of other caffeine and non-caffeine drinks is excellent. It’s in the heart of Richmond and makes it a perfect spot to visit before/after the walk in the park. The interior is lovely and cozy. The staff was kind and helpful, definitely made the experience even nicer. Would highly recommend to everyone visiting Richmond (but worth travelling from other parts of London just to try ECC coffee).”

“The food and drinks were delicious. Located across the Richmond Station, very strategic area. The service was ok. Too crowded on weekends. Not a great option for big groups (more than 6 people) on weekends. They have limited time for customers to finish the food. There's no toilet there. You can park your car at Richmond Station Car Park, or Old Deer Car Park or at the street parking behind the restaurant.”

“I recently visited this amazing coffee shop Kiss the Hippo Coffee in Richmond and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The (owner) of the shop was incredibly polite and helpful, making my experience there all the more enjoyable. The hospitality was truly remarkable and I felt right at home. This coffeeshop is known for its excellent coffee and top-notch service. Customers rave about the expertly crafted drinks, made with high-quality beans and served by love. The coffee it self was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a warm and friendly environment to enjoy a cup of coffee. The café itself is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating both indoors and out. It has a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable seating, making it a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and catch up with friends or get some work done In addition to the delicious coffee, Kiss the Hippo also offers an impressive selection of baked goods, including pastries, cakes, and cookies. I recommend trying the croissants and other treats, which are baked fresh daily Overall, Kiss the Hippo Coffee in Richmond is a great place to grab a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy tasty baked goods, and relax with friends or work on your own. An excellent experience and I will definitely be returning soon It's always great to find a business that goes the extra mile for their customers.”

“If you are looking for that hidden fairytale cafe on a day out in Richmond .. this is where you want to be. Nestled in the trees of terrace gardens of Richmond hill overlooking the Thames is a gem of a stop for your cortado or English tea. The exterior terrace has an elevated view of the gardens where you spend quite a few hours or if it gets cold the interior is cosy with a rarely seen wood burner for that homely appeal. We didn’t try the food but there is a full range of vegan options of pies, quiche and salads. Dog friendly! Well worth the visit!”
