Wow, what a fabulous place! First time there as was in the area and so glad I found this cafe. Very friendly, clean & an extensive menu to suit all. We had the liver & bacon - it was outstanding and well worth travelling for! Busy place - obvious that people know this is the place to get decent fresh food - but lots of seating to cater for their lunchtime crowd. Will be back 😁 Delicious, honest food.

An absolutely wonderful place for a coffee and bite to eat after a walk round Brockwell park. Vibe is awesome (loved hearing the trains going past), coffee is so delicious, huge flaky pastries, and exceptional friendly service. Had an amazing time, will definitely be back!

Wonderful coffee shop. The flat whites were delicious and so was the banana bread (my boyfriend and I eat a lot of banana bread and we loved it). The two women working there were so kind and friendly and made my day. Will definitely be back!

Visited Macatia with a group of friends and loved it! The interior is great and it’s in an ideal location. I had a smoothie and cinnamon roll which were both 10/10. Staff were very friendly and have great latte art skills! Will be visiting again soon.

First time visiting and this is one of the best coffee shops around. I had a smoothie which had a hint of chocolate in. Apparently a secret recipe so I’d highly recommend

This is such a lovely spot and super convenient for commuting. I love their whole branding vibe and the barista is always SO friendly. In that spirit I’m writing this as I want you guys to stay around — but the flat whites i have had from here have always tasted very bitter/ burnt and been too hot in temperature. Hope you can adjust this as I love coming here!

Excellent high quality coffee in the heart of West Norwood serving up a classic (Volcano full steam) espresso & doing it really well. Noticed v60 in the back but didn't ask. Think there was a single origin there too. Just what was needed in SE27 & RIGHT next to station so there's no excuse! Barista super friendly with small but quaint lay out. Also selling v cool ceramics.

Unassuming, low key kind of place I just popped into in passing. I had a very delicious toasted panino type sandwich. Really fresh ingredients and nicely done using decent olive oil on the salad. Much nicer than a chain and much better value than a posh cafe.

2 days have passed and I’m STILL thinking about this delicious pear ice-cream. It was refreshingly yummy and I highly recommend! Also, many thanks to the friendly waitress who was NOT stingy with the scoops. 😁

After hearing other reviewers praise the hot chocolate, I decided to visit this caffe. My expectations were already high, but the hot chocolate exceeded them. It’s the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Ginger cake was also tasty. Additionally, the female staff was incredibly kind, with warm smiles that added to the experience. If possible, I’d rate it 10.

Very nice relaxing location with friendly customers and customer service, I ordered a peppermint tea but was surprised by the selection of different types of coffee, chocolate, teas and herbal teas.The cookie, cake and ice cream selections were out of this world, found it very difficult to choose so I left it to Gavin who did an excellent job of finding a mixture of ice creams i would enjoy.. WOW WOW WOW!! I will be back and I highly recommend everyone try Koala's out, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Gavin and team for the beautiful experience..

Walked past many times and today I had a little time so popped in for a coffee. The coffee was great. Smooth and velvety with good aroma and rounded flavour. Atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Didn’t get any food but perhaps another time as I will certainly return

I absolutely loved the blueberry matcha drink! The flavor was rich and earthy, with just the right balance of natural sweetness and no bitterness which makes it so unique. The texture was perfectly smooth, with no graininess, and the vibrant green color was a clear sign of high-quality ingredients. It had a refreshing and energizing effect without being too heavy. I definitely will be back

Absolutely delicious pistachio matcha! The staff are very warm and there’s so much choice, perfect addition to the neighbourhood! They’re also really kind and welcoming to my puppy.

I had the yummiest iced Spanish matcha latte today, made by a lovely young lady with curly hair—it was her first day training(8/10/24). It was absolutely delicious! I usually get my matcha from Blank Street, but after today, I’ll definitely be coming here more often. Keep up the great work, darling!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, instantly making me feel at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, helping me choose the perfect brew from their wide selection of coffees. I opted for the blueberry matcha and it was absolutely delicious—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Not only was the drink outstanding, but the ambiance was also spot-on. The small but cozy seating, tasteful decor, and relaxed vibe make it the perfect spot to simply unwind with a great cup of coffee. To top it off, the pistachio cookie was fresh and tasty, pairing perfectly with my drink. Been a regular here now since Viv's opened last year - Viv gives consistently great coffee, good vibes, and tasty pastry. This coffee shop is such a great addition to Loughborough Junction, Viva la Vivs!

Viv and her baristas are welcoming and most importantly make the best coffee’s (+ chai). I’ve been going regularly since they opened in April - such a lovely atmosphere and they’re always super friendly to my pup! Perfect addition to the neighbourhood and highly recommend x

Had a fantastic flat white here. The coffee shop is snug and cosy and I could easily hang out here for meeting a friend or reading. A few people working on laptops when I visited on a Thursday daytime.

This brand new cafè has just opened locally to me and it’s INCREDIBLE! They’re super quick in service but not only that they hold space for you for a quick coffee or a sit down vibe. Genuinely one of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted!! They have wrap and the best one is called ‘The Dog’ with all its trimming and extras! Really hospital and anyone who is in the area must visit! Excellent addition to the neighborhood. I have been here quite a few times already, the coffee is always strong and flavorsome, probably the best you can have in the area if you want to stay indoors. The owner has invested in creating an airy, bright and modern space and the pots and plants are appreciated. The food is delicious (pictured the jammy egg on sourdough with avocado and feta), well done to the staff in kitchen. The pleasant staff making the coffee and serving are also working hard. The bathroom is spacious and cleaner than other places in Dulwich. The wifi is awful (in an area where mobile data mostly doesn’t work). By 11:00 on a Monday morning, they had run out of pastries. And on a Saturday morning, it was full of loud little people, high chairs and buggies. That’s fine if you are in that phase in your life, but not so great for others meeting a friend for breakfast and a chat. It is what drove us away from other cafes in the area, and here they have two rooms, they could encourage people with buggies to take one and leave the other to those who want a more peaceful experience. As it is, I will continue to go for coffee and a snack but struggle to think of West 16th as a relaxing environment that I would want to try out for dinner. Which is a shame as clearly the kitchen staff are talented.

Friendly service, a beautiful menu of fresh baked goods and healthy meals, and a spacious, bright ambiance, reminiscent of a greenhouse. The cafe is equally good for finding a spot to work at your laptop, or meeting a larger group of friends for brunch. I'll certainly be back!

A new neighbourhood gem, serving mouth-watering, freshly made, generously portioned, salads, sandwiches, pastries, cakes and coffee. I ordered a mixture of 4 salads to share with a friend, a glass of English fizz, a slice of gluten-free chocolate cake that had recently come out of the oven, and a coffee with oat milk on the side, served beautifully on a wooden board. The service was charming, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and it is perfectly located between Herne Hill and Dulwich. One not to miss.

I enjoyed myself at Café Lulu. I visited early as they were opening up and the girls were very inviting. My omelette came well made and nicely presented. I would think during the day it is buzzing with people as it is a quality establishment and has no competition in the immediate area. Floor to ceiling windows on two sides for a spot of people-watching as you drink your latte. Excellent.

Don't let the broken sign put you off, a lot of times places that are a little bit... Disheveled, can be the best places to go. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and in a pretty cool location.
