Had a lovely breakfast - egg royal. Just great food and the smoothie with orange ginger and carrot was so tasteful. And coffee well prepare. Staff is just the best

Amazing food in hearty portions! The staff are all super friendly. Service was very quick. A cozy little breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in the heart of London. They have great halal options and no waiting time either. We had the traditional english breakfast with extra sides of salmon and avocado.

Stumbled across this little cafe, the second we walked in we were greeted by the friendly owner, the same way he greeted everyone else. Everything feels like home, haven’t been to a place this welcoming in London, real food, real connection, perfect music for Christmas. Some regulars come and they had a conversation, some new customers came in and said “it’s such a cute place.” A hidden gem at the neighborhood for sure. I will highly recommend!!

Super nice place! We found it cause all other restaurants were crowded at 2:30pm today and were like "let's see". And when we entered, the boss was super kind with us. The food is good, the people too and they play lot of French songs so it was a bit like at home!

Picked up two new magazines and a lovely cappuccino. Helpful recommendations and friendly service. Grateful for the early open time and cheerful vibe. All the magazines are in great condition thanks to the careful wrapping.

Food & service are great! Enjoyed the coffee and French toast! The 2 tables in the middle are a little close together and not pleasant, maybe some furniture shuffling and a fresh coat of paint. Will be back though. :)

Looking for good coffee? The guys at Drury get it. The coffee was fantastic, the scrambled eggs on toast were fab (get the British Bacon, thank me later!) and the coconut porridge was spectacular. Definitely worth a visit.

Drury 188-189 truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best cafés in London. The variety on the menu is impressive—from small bites to proper meals, including scones with jam, they have something for every craving. Food I tried the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale, and both dishes were exceptional. The lattes were perfectly crafted, smooth and creamy, and the Coco Loco smoothie was a refreshing addition to the meal. The flavors were spot on, and the presentation made everything look even more inviting. Atmosphere & Service The atmosphere is both cozy and bustling, which adds to the charm. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home even if it gets busy. Just keep in mind it can get quite crowded, so be prepared for a short wait of around 15-20 minutes during peak times. But trust me, it’s worth every minute! My husband and me are from Chicago, so we have REALLY REALLY high standards for what we consider “good” food and service and this place takes the cake. We came back after an amazing first experience. All of their ingredients are fresh, the portions are big and most importantly the food is DELICIOUS. We ordered the avocado bliss toast and the omelette along with fresh pressed apple and orange juice. An absolute banging way to start the day. Don’t read any other review, just go and see for yourself also, 5 stars on the staff, they were attentive and helpful!

We ate the full vegetarian English breakfast and the explosion waffles. I enjoyed the baked beans, sausage, and garlicky mushrooms a lot, I will order some extra next time 😋 I enjoyed the fruits and ice cream on the waffles 🍓🍌 Upon arriving we had such a welcoming experience thanks to Fatima! Very nice brunch restaurant and the service is great. We had eggs Benedict and the avocado toast which were delicious, also with drinks. The price was also affordable and on the side of the British museum. Definitely worth it.

Very delicious meal. We ordered a Full English breakfast and French toast, both dishes were perfect. The beans in the English breakfast are delicious, the sourdough is not too hard, and the bacon is not too salty. The French toast is very soft and tasty with berries and syrup. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting London!!

Cute little cafe/restaurant with super chilled vibes. I had the Maki rolls which were freshly made and very tasty. Service was very friendly too It’s a short stroll from Covent Garden in a quieter area which means you’re more likely to be able to grab a table (and a much less hectic atmosphere!)

This is such a gem in the heart of London. The latte is by far the very best I have had in ages. The matcha cookie was deliciously moorish and the hot chocolate to die for! The ambiance of #MoodCafe is something really special to experience. They put the care into customer care … such a wonderful feel. Nice cosy place. On the outside of it, it looks like a cookie shop , with the pink and white stripes and the cookie desk in the front. So it is a little bewildering. In the inside it was very quiet- which we liked ( came 19:30 on a weekday). Only vegi. My partner mentioned that the place seems like the owner could not decide so he made a little bit of everything; it’s both an Indian restaurant but it also sales sushi, and bakeries and American cafe and it also has big tables for working with one’s laptop. Service was slow and not knowledgeable enough regarding offering the meals on the menu but still very polite and friendly.

The cheeky curry was amazing!! ☺️ My friend got vegan chicken burger and was great as well. I like how the cafe offers a variety styles of food (burger, rice dishes, desserts) and all seemed very tasty. I also tried hot chocolate with coconut milk- very creamy and rich flavors. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere and staff members are friendly and welcoming. Will def come back again 🐄✨

My mom and I were Museum hopping in the great heat (not recommended for the weak) and I was googling cafés nearby as I was in desperate need of an iced latte. Not only did their coffee taste amazing, the atmosphere of this cafe is so cozy. It was a great pitstop for us and if we are in the area again, we would definitely return.

Visited here on a trip in April when we went to see Spirited Away. Completely spontaneous coffee shop stop and we happened to walk by here and decide to pop in, I am so glad we did! Absolutely beautiful place and the coffee and pastries were the best we had tasted 🩵 the staff are lovely too and you can watch everything being made fresh right in front of you! - beautiful. Will 100% be taking the time to stop by when we visit London again!

Small cafe with outdoor seating. Pastry are bake fresh and they have a great outdoor seating area. Coffee is really, really good! The coffee machine they use, are pressure to lever extraction. 👍👍👍 The pastry is just as yummy! They go so well with the coffee. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I look forward to visiting them again.

People are really nice, coffee is good and constantly rotating with options for different espressos so you can always try something new. Plenty of outlets and no one being difficult if you wanna work here during the week while business is slow. If you are very geeky about coffee I think it would be hard to find a better place. It seems that people of that mindset congregate here so you might get to talk coffee with some similarly interested people. Interior is really pleasant but nothing crazy. 10/10 spot imo.

Fantastic coffee place. Nice people. Skilled baristas. If there is a coffee heaven, this may be one of its branches on earth. I didn’t have enough time to try all their coffees. Anything I tried (espresso, pour over and even cappuccino) were executed to perfection. I could taste all sorts of notes, texture, etc.

I have just found this amazing coffee Place, ambience is amazing. The barista and staff are wonderful and they have fabulous cakes, and delicious fruity well presented. Unbelievable coffee I’ve ever had and I have been here consistently and it has been consistent with quality and fair prices highly recommended, it’s great to have a great quality coffee that people who care and will go the extra mile for you if you are around the area pop in for a cuppa. :))

A lovely little coffee shop tucked into a corner of a church. The garden they have was lovely even in the fall when everything was not in full bloom. The coffee was fantastic and definitely reminded me of sipping an espresso in Italy. Definitely worth the visit

Great coffee shop just beside Holborn station. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. Their coffee is rich and well-brewed, and the croissant? Absolutely heavenly! Flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of crispness.

There are a handful of Blank Street Coffee branches scattered around the city including this place along Kingsway just outside the Holborn Metro exit. I stopped by recently for a double espresso, midday caffeine fix. Service was quick, prices reasonable and my coffee was bold, strong with rich flavour, tasted like a good espresso should. Would be happy to pop in for another coffee based on this experience.
