We got breakfast at this small cafe and it was quite pleasant. The American breakfast was delicious and filling, my wife got the create your own breakfast and enjoyed it. They did forget her toast and we were charged for it (she didn’t remember until after we had left). Overall it was a good experience and the staff was friendly - the price was great for the meals we received, about 29£ for both of our breakfast with a cappuccino and tea.

What a wonderful cafe, off the beaten track so no rammed with tourists. They offer a build your own breakfast which was perfect for the kids. And you can order via app. Great portion sizes and high quality products. It has a very local/neighbourhood feel about it. Will definitely return!

Very nice environment and polite staff. Had an amazing pistachio cake today 10/10. The flavor was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The texture was perfect, soft yet crumbly, making each bite delightful. I also enjoyed a cup of freshly brewed coffee that complemented the cake beautifully.

My best friend and I went here for dinner as a Christmas treat last night and it was just perfect. We managed to get a table last minute for 8pm and there was a lovely buzz in the restaurant. LUKE our waiter was so kind, looked after us extremely well and made the evening all the more enjoyable. I hadn’t been to the Delaunay in years so it was such a treat to go back. From cocktails through our three courses it was all perfect. The presentation is really quite something. Thank you LUKE and all for a wonderful Christmas evening.

She started with the prawn cocktail, which she declared the best she’s ever had—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. This was followed by eggs benedict that were simply divine, with perfectly poached eggs and a hollandaise sauce so silky it was like a work of art. What really made our visit special was the sensational service. The waitstaff were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our every need was met with grace and professionalism. Their genuine warmth and impeccable attention to detail elevated the meal into an unforgettable dining experience. The Delaunay Bar is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of fine dining and outstanding hospitality. We can’t wait to return and relive the magic on our next visit to London!

Fancy traditional English tea. Make sure to book reservations!! The desserts were incredible and tastey. We ordered the mint tea which was excellent. It’s pricey, but thats London.

I’ve been coming since I was 25, it’s been 12 years. Honestly they are incredible. I’ve had a birthday breakfast here and they are wonderful. So attentive and couteous, and great with children. Highly recommend for breakfast especially around Christmas time. I will continue to come back here for as long as they stay.

Very solid coffee in a competitive area. Nice cafe set up, great safe and vibe. The 8.2 flat white was smooth and had good strength. A little bitterness came through at the end but that’s being super picky, great cup.

Really good coffee. Their specials menu was great too. For £14, a very filling and complete meal. They were very hospitable and friendly and checked in with me multiple times as I was there for a while. Very communal feeling and not pretentious at all. Highly recommend!

For a city obsessed with flat whites it's actually hard to find an oat one in London where the milk's not burned - happily Catalyst delivered a beautiful smooth coffee, didn't decide to randomly turn it into a latte when I provided my own cup and, crucially, it was the perfect temp. I'll be back! Also had a delicious almond croissant.

4,3 in stars (as a breakfast place) Food/drink Nice filtered coffee, with great taste Greek yogurt with fruits was a sizeable portion with apples and apricots + granola (which was a bit sweet and not as nutty as I prefer) Then I had Turkish eggs - this was really awesome, spicy sausage with poached egg, some sort of yogurt underneath with amazing flatbread - this was the highlight, especially if you like it spicy and something other than the plain vanilla egg Benedict for breakfast. Price a bit on the high side paying 16 £ for the Turkish eggs, even if I must say the portions were sizeable (and I eat a lot). Service The girl at the counter seemed a bit stressed when I order, order than that it wasn’t much service other than serving my food in this case. Atmosphere Nice easy going semi hipster environment, liked it!

I keep coming back to this coffee shop ! It’s so nice ! 😊 they have so many options to choose from and a trendy environment that is always enjoyable! Customer service is excellent every single time. I even spoke with the manager, Chris and he was so friendly! Located in a peaceful corner, I always relax in this cool coffee shop! I’m definitely planning to go back !

Had a great experience at Black Sheep Coffee today. I had mistakenly ordered the wrong drink and the gentleman and lady (Suma, & Chris) offered me the drink I had intended without hassle. My friend got to enjoy the one I had ordered incorrectly and he his now also a fan of Black Sheep! Thank you for your exceptional service.

What a nice cafe! This is definitely one of the best “fast food” coffee you can find in London. Great coffee beans, never cutting corners (at least for me). Their staff are so friendly, Chris and Mirella can always put a smile on my face, feels like home. Their waffle is heaven too, albeit a liiiiiittle bit expensive 🫣

This time, I opted for their pistachio cookie, and it lived up to the hype: delicious with a perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness. Blank Street Coffee is a fantastic spot for anyone who appreciates great coffee and tasty treats, even if you need to take them on the go!

There are a handful of Blank Street Coffee branches scattered around the city including this place along Kingsway just outside the Holborn Metro exit. I stopped by recently for a double espresso, midday caffeine fix. Service was quick, prices reasonable and my coffee was bold, strong with rich flavour, tasted like a good espresso should. Would be happy to pop in for another coffee based on this experience.

One of the most calming but upbeat atmosphere when you want to study, have a chat with a friend or to read one of your favourite books! The friendliest servers I have encountered :) If you're wondering about the food, it is your typical selection of coffees and a variety of cookies, pastries and even scones. Definitely recommend.

There is something about the plant surrounded setting at Cafe Botanical that makes you want to sit back and relax! I went in for a coffee and had a nice cappuccino. The ambience scores high for reading or meeting up with friends. The pastries are fresh and tasteful, and staff is sincere. It is a cute little place that is unique to the area, unlike cafes around it. I’ll definitely be back!

Really nice place to study/ do work in, staff are really nice too!!!! I was sat at the stool which is near the speaker so music was bit loud for study but I didn’t find it too much of an issue :) WILL BE BACK

Delicious lunch menu! Matcha cookie was on the sweeter side. Nice ambience to study but free wifi only limited to 120 minutes.

Mid afternoon on Friday is not the best of times to look for something to eat. Didn't want a big meal but happened upon Kozzy. Menus on tables outside looked interesting so happened in. Friendly greeting considering the cafe was starting to wind down. Plumped for a panini (chicken escalope) which was fresh cooked to order and came with a crisp fresh salad with good dressing. The cortado coffee was rich and smooth and the service was delightful. The brigade were eating together at the end of service and me and mate were left to chat until ready to make a move. It's rare to find places like this on London, so give it a go and see what it's like to visit something that isn't a chain of identical clones. Highly recommend for breakfast and lunch as the menu is vast. Return visit for brunch was just as good, this place is my "go to" now when around the Holborn area.

Found this gem of a cafe down a side street. Quite a good full menu. Opted for a Mozzarella and Bacon toastie. My mum had cheese and ham. Good bread and served piping hot. They also had breakfasts, a few main meals and jacket potatoes too

Hidden gem in the middle of London!! I’ve been to several Chilean Restaurants in different countries and cities..Chicago, Mexico City, Melbourne, Paris, New York, etc. By far this has been the best experience overall. A great variety of Chilean dishes and typical desserts, good portions, great prices and excellent location. We tried Pastel de choclo, humitas, alfajores, chilenitos and the coffee. Everything was very tasty and made on point to the Chilean style.. Nelson the owner was super kind and attentive. If you are not chilean and you been wanting to try this is the perfect place to do it and if you are Chilean this place will transport you back home. I highly recommend the alfajores with a coffee it would make your day! We are gonna stop by again before we leave London and take some goodies with us for the rest of our trip.

This is a lovely indoor/outdoor cafe which sells traditional British cafe food but also Chilean food and amazing hotdogs (halal upon request) The hotdogs were big and very delicious, they serve a host of other Chilean sandwiches and pastries which I will try another time and update this review over time.

Excellent place to have tea and coffee plus local treats, additionally they do a cracking Chilean menu, ie hot dogs completos Empanadas beef patties etc..good place to go to if you like English and Chilean treats..

First visit! Enjoyed a latte and tiramisu at this cafe, decent but nothing extraordinary. The location is convenient, right outside the tube station. It's worth noting that there's no table service. Overall, a solid spot for a quick coffee fix.

A great place to work / take a snack break. Right outside Chancery Lane tube station. Very cosy and good taste interiors. Clean toilets downstairs. Staff was really friendly and even brought the drink to my table, as it was hard to get out from my table. They regularly came to clear the table. Coffee and cake is quite average, but I came more for the space.

On a cold and foggy Saturday afternoon this place was a welcome spot to warm up for a short while. I wouldn't go as far as calling it the best coffee in London as they self proclaimed. As always, once warmed up we discovered 5 more coffee shops just a block away. Each one looks as inviting as the Brew Garden.

Italian mix with beer and coffee in the same place. Nice location too in this half timbered building. There is outdoor seating. The cappuccino was good, I liked the touch with the dusted on type. There are alternative milk types available, but soya also commands a 40p surcharge. I think soya should be free as it is not a choice for people who are lactose intelorant.
