Always friendly and great tasting coffee. Usually get a takeaway but today I worked an hour (good wifi) and I had the avocado on sourdough which was really good - perfectly ripe and a generous portion. Complimentary carafe of iced water with lemons was a nice touch on a hot day. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Sour Leaf Cafe enough! It’s a great spot in the area serving outstanding speciality coffee and the food is just incredible. It’s a small team but they go above and beyond with their service every single time. Tried out a new menu item, the bacon and egg rosti - 10/10 can’t wait to have it again! A great spin on the classic fry up.

Top quality ingredients, flavor combinations, and overall attention to detail (music, ambience, care in service). The homemade banana bread and muffins are also a must. Reliable quality and absolutely delicious. Thank you for the level of care you put into your food and service and all you bring to the community, SLC!

Good service, good value and nice vibe inside but the coffee and pastry was a let down. Dirty chai was weak and didn't taste like anything really. The pastel de nata was cold and stale, maybe from the day before but at least both the coffee and pastry was £5.40.

Stumbled upon this place after a hospital visit as I was aimlessly wandering down the street. Very glad I did!! Lovely, chatty, friendly baristas we had a good laugh! Super comfortable cosy vibe inside so I perched at a table to have my croissant and coffee and read my book. 🥐☕️ Opted for the double cheese, tomato, sun-dried tomato, caramelised onion jam croissant, heated (£3.50). Was perfect crunchy melted goodness, thoroughly enjoyed this. Soy flat white was delish. Great prices. Busy little place, constant flow of people. Easy to see why! When you want bad to be good, go here! Always consistently delightful. Excellent coffee super tasty sandwiches and cakes and pastries to die for. If you want a real lift make time to sit in and soak up the vibes, friendly, meticulous service. I have no idea how they can do what they do at the price point👍🏾 I even forgot to use my blue light card. Hats off the helping to coffee connoisseurs community.

came at around 2pm on a saturday, and they still had a good amount of their baked goods left! the shop also has a selection of goods, like coffee, eggs, and beans. i got an oat latte and a vegan PB & chocolate cookie. the coffee was really nice, and the cookie was thick and chewy! the staff was incredibly helpful and helped me to choose a coffee from their own micro roasters to bring home and ground it up for me to use in my cafetière. i like the outdoor seating area too. keep it up guys, thank you!

Genuinely one of the best coffee experiences I've had (cortado). Really nice greeting, conversational, friendly and showed a real interest in our plans for the day. A cozy coffee shop situated in a very convenient location. In front of Bowyer Place Z bus stop in Camberwell Road, London. Across is Burgess Park area. Also a bus ride from Kings College Hospital. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Choices of pastry, croissants, and vegan sausage rolls (big portion). We tried their specialty salted caramel pistacchio iced coffee. Highly recommended. On sausage rolls we tried the vegan fajita and a sweet chilli one. We also have their apple spiced fruit tea infusion to finish. Limited seating spaces but with free wifi. Good if you want to meet friends and family for a coffee, tea and catching up. Supporting local businesses. A place to visit and to try their specialty coffee. Will drop by again if in the area. Its worth it.

I went here today and got an almond & chocolate croissant and it was absolutely amazing with a hot chocolate!! Couldn’t get enough so I added the chilli and pork sausage roll and a lychee, mango, peach ice tea. It was very refreshing! We also had a pleasant service with the waitress, she was very hardworking and made us feel very welcomed.

Absolutely delicious sourdough breakfast with poached egg, spinach and mushrooms. Amazing ginger beet blueberry smoothie. Perfect cappuccino coffee and faultless friendly service. Simply superb.

I popped into the café on my way home on Saturday. It wasn't crowded and had a cozy atmosphere. The fondant was particularly delicious; the chocolate was melty and rich. Highly recommend. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When I asked for the Wi-Fi password, he told me with a warm smile.

The food was delicious. I had the chicken escalope with ciabatta and salad and it was so tasty. Really friendly service too. Will definitely go back again.

First time dining in since COVID started and it was really lovely. The food was really nice, lovely cafe with such wonderful staff. They’re so attentive and very COVID friendly. Such a filling breakfast, great proportions and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the food and the staff was so great, really nice place. Also, I would highly recommend the freshly squeezed juices.

My friend Kim and I pop in here each week for tea and cake. There is always a gluten free option and I am a big fan of the chocolate and pear cake. Our favourite part though is catching up with the lovely staff and having a chat. Always so friendly and welcoming and one of our favourite Camberwell corners ♥️

A small and beautiful coffee shop. Opened six weeks ago. Lovely staff and amazing place full of plants. I just had an oat latte.

It was a good surprise to learn this previous cafe that closed months ago is now open again under different owner. Their cakes are all so yummy and baked by the owner in the premises as far as I know. One of my faves is their fruit flans. My nephew loves them too. Hubby likes all of them so you can get him any he'll be happy. Their toasted sandwiches are all good too esp the bread itself. I like my coffee extra hot which some places still make as lukwarm, yes, it is extra hot when it comes to me and that makes me happy. Sitting outside is a bonus on a sunny/dry day as the tree opposite gives enough shade. The owner will have time to answer your questions you might have about their wares... their prices are very attractive too!

Much better place than all the other popular coffee shops such as Irene and Lumberjack that gets packed with people and don’t even have proper wifi. This place is good, owners are lovely and great selection of food.

Such a lovely cafe. INCREDIBLE salmon bagel and super HOME MADE bacon sandwiches. DELICIOUS pancakes with a hint of cinnamon, my boyfriend said they were ‘high key the best pancakes in London’. Such lovely service. ‘Hidden gem’ are the words to describe this place. Love.

Found by chance as I was in the area having dropped off a friend at King College Hospital in nearby Denmark Hill. I am a Blue Badge holder so can park pretty much anywhere but I wanted a quiet street. This little cafe was perfectly located with the park, and the operator was super helpful even taking time to bring out my Hot Chocolate and bacon sandwich to my table. At the time of my visit they were from Quito Ecuador! Husband and wife team, it was a popular place for local dog walkers who sat on the various benches and tables outside. There was even bowls of water for the dogs!

Wonderful local cafe with a great family staff. Good food, good prices. Had the egg & bacon sandwich and an iced mocha. An awesome place to visit while in the area.

What a hidden gem!! My favourite cappuccino and South American family owned south London park cafes, thus far. The guy with glasses makes the most amazing coffee. Honestly, the most pleasant, friendliest and warm welcoming bunch of people I’ve met. I always return when I’m in the area. Such a lovely chilled place to have a coffee. Their music choice is a vibe and i always feel comfortable and welcomed here. A nice chilled spot to meet and make friends or to bring family and they have a bandstand sometimes music is played nearby on certain events and occasions.Highly recommend, their coffee which never disappoints. I am shocked there is not a line of people here all day trying to get in. This place has some of the best baked goods in London. Their pastry such as croissant and this fig and pear pastry are just so good. The basque cheese cake is also wonderful.

We made a lovely discovery this morning at the Irene café. The place is very cute, the staff was very friendly to me and my partner and our dog, as they are pet friendly. We ordered a ham & cheese croissant and a spinach & cheese croissant and they were both delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Found this little spot in Camberwell and honestly the name doesn’t do it justice, we had a fabulous meal and home made carrot cake worth every penny. The owner is a good sort!🤣🤣 The food was so good I ended up buying extra portions to take home to the family. So good 😊. Thank you. I’ll be back!

Visited in March when visiting Kings. At Kings again today and decided to revisit. Glad we did. Staff as friendly as before and excellent service. Would definatly recommend for a meal.

We visit Brunchies this week, and I love the food and the place.. the prices were affordable, we got fried chicken with chips, rice and plantain, delicious I love it! We didn't wait to long for the food, good service. We definitely recommend 👌🏾
