Best coffee in London. Friendly staff. Excellent toasties. Banging tunes. They also offer £4 circumcisions if you ask for Warren. He will come over on his longboard and do it painlessly.

Fantastic new coffee spot in Camberwell, the baby sister of the record shop two doors down. Great coffee, great toasties, lovely staff and fantastic tunes… whats not to like?

Genuinely one of the best coffee experiences I've had (cortado). Really nice greeting, conversational, friendly and showed a real interest in our plans for the day. came at around 2pm on a saturday, and they still had a good amount of their baked goods left! the shop also has a selection of goods, like coffee, eggs, and beans. i got an oat latte and a vegan PB & chocolate cookie. the coffee was really nice, and the cookie was thick and chewy! the staff was incredibly helpful and helped me to choose a coffee from their own micro roasters to bring home and ground it up for me to use in my cafetière. i like the outdoor seating area too. keep it up guys, thank you!

When you want bad to be good, go here! Always consistently delightful. Excellent coffee super tasty sandwiches and cakes and pastries to die for. If you want a real lift make time to sit in and soak up the vibes, friendly, meticulous service. I have no idea how they can do what they do at the price point👍🏾 I even forgot to use my blue light card. Hats off the helping to coffee connoisseurs community.

Stumbled upon this place after a hospital visit as I was aimlessly wandering down the street. Very glad I did!! Lovely, chatty, friendly baristas we had a good laugh! Super comfortable cosy vibe inside so I perched at a table to have my croissant and coffee and read my book. 🥐☕️ Opted for the double cheese, tomato, sun-dried tomato, caramelised onion jam croissant, heated (£3.50). Was perfect crunchy melted goodness, thoroughly enjoyed this. Soy flat white was delish. Great prices. Busy little place, constant flow of people. Easy to see why! Lots of locals it seemed who knew the baristas, had lots of fun chats and giggles. Definitely coming back. Thank you very much! P.s Loved the Halloween themed decor, special drinks and treats 🎃

I went here today and got an almond & chocolate croissant and it was absolutely amazing with a hot chocolate!! Couldn’t get enough so I added the chilli and pork sausage roll and a lychee, mango, peach ice tea. It was very refreshing! We also had a pleasant service with the waitress, she was very hardworking and made us feel very welcomed.

A cozy coffee shop situated in a very convenient location. In front of Bowyer Place Z bus stop in Camberwell Road, London. Across is Burgess Park area. Also a bus ride from Kings College Hospital. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Choices of pastry, croissants, and vegan sausage rolls (big portion). We tried their specialty salted caramel pistacchio iced coffee. Highly recommended. On sausage rolls we tried the vegan fajita and a sweet chilli one. We also have their apple spiced fruit tea infusion to finish. Limited seating spaces but with free wifi. Good if you want to meet friends and family for a coffee, tea and catching up. Supporting local businesses. A place to visit and to try their specialty coffee. Will drop by again if in the area. Its worth it.

Cute little coffee shop with vegan options. Absolutely lovely oat flat white and for £3 which is a good price for coffee these days. Right next to Burgess park as well 💜

I’m not being hyperbolic when I say this is the best coffee I’ve ever had. More accurate would probably be my favorite. The iced hazelnut mocha is something I’ll have to try and replicate at home now it’s so good. Kiddos enjoyed the pastries. My wife loved her toasted marshmallow latte. Only complaint is we can’t take it home with us.

I cannot recommend Sour Leaf Cafe enough! It’s a great spot in the area serving outstanding speciality coffee and the food is just incredible. It’s a small team but they go above and beyond with their service every single time. Tried out a new menu item, the bacon and egg rosti - 10/10 can’t wait to have it again! A great spin on the classic fry up.

Tasty food! Good coffee! the spanish tortilla was really tasty, also enjoyed the relish and cucumber pickles. The lentil patties were filling, and tastier with a little bit of salt. The seating and interior was so nice!

We visit Brunchies this week, and I love the food and the place.. the prices were affordable, we got fried chicken with chips, rice and plantain, delicious I love it! We didn't wait to long for the food, good service. We definitely recommend 👌🏾

Visited in March when visiting Kings. At Kings again today and decided to revisit. Glad we did. Staff as friendly as before and excellent service. Would definatly recommend for a meal.

Such a great place!! I loved the atmosphere with Latin American music. The food was amazing. We went for brunch and we tried a bit of everything- and all the dishes were great. Especially the açai bowl 100% recommended.

I popped into the café on my way home on Saturday. It wasn't crowded and had a cozy atmosphere. The fondant was particularly delicious; the chocolate was melty and rich. Highly recommend. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When I asked for the Wi-Fi password, he told me with a warm smile.

Visited her by chance as the other eating place a few doors down was packed (I have previously eaten there and had the pancakes and I would say Caffe Pronto was much better). Went with the savoury American breakfast and it was very good. The pancakes were fluffy, the turkey bacon and scrambled egg were both very good. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely delicious sourdough breakfast with poached egg, spinach and mushrooms. Amazing ginger beet blueberry smoothie. Perfect cappuccino coffee and faultless friendly service. Simply superb.

First time dining in since COVID started and it was really lovely. The food was really nice, lovely cafe with such wonderful staff. They’re so attentive and very COVID friendly. Such a filling breakfast, great proportions and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the food and the staff was so great, really nice place. Also, I would highly recommend the freshly squeezed juices.

Much better place than all the other popular coffee shops such as Irene and Lumberjack that gets packed with people and don’t even have proper wifi. This place is good, owners are lovely and great selection of food.

It was a good surprise to learn this previous cafe that closed months ago is now open again under different owner. Their cakes are all so yummy and baked by the owner in the premises as far as I know. One of my faves is their fruit flans. My nephew loves them too. Hubby likes all of them so you can get him any he'll be happy. Their toasted sandwiches are all good too esp the bread itself. I like my coffee extra hot which some places still make as lukwarm, yes, it is extra hot when it comes to me and that makes me happy. Sitting outside is a bonus on a sunny/dry day as the tree opposite gives enough shade. The owner will have time to answer your questions you might have about their wares... their prices are very attractive too!

My friend Kim and I pop in here each week for tea and cake. There is always a gluten free option and I am a big fan of the chocolate and pear cake. Our favourite part though is catching up with the lovely staff and having a chat. Always so friendly and welcoming and one of our favourite Camberwell corners ♥️

Wonderful place! It seems really small but in the back a nice sunny terrace and downstairs working spaces for entrepreneurs or homeworkers . Tasty coffee and several vegan pastries. Happy us! Love it!

A great place to work and catch up with friends with a great coffee. I love the atmosphere and the team, they are always friendly and nice. We've been buying coffee beans from them for 2 years and they have the best choice in the area. I will be moving to another area soon and this place I will miss a lot!

Enjoyed a quick breakfast here. The coffee was very nice and I liked that the granola wasn’t too sweet. Seating is either downstairs or outside but there is a lot of space. A very nice range of products available in the shop too

I'm so glad I stumbled upon Lumberjack Cafe during my walk. This coffee shop offers not only excellent coffee but also a selection of baked goods, skincare products, wine, and groceries. The atmosphere is fantastic, with plenty of seating options, including cozy wooden tables downstairs and a charming garden area. The latte I had was smooth, flavorful, and thoroughly enjoyable. The staff was welcoming and friendly, making the experience even better.

Just opened after an amazing refit, glad to say the food is still 5star, just like the warm welcome , taking service to a different level, can I give Mary’s 10 stars

Outstanding fry up. Went for the Big Irish, was so big I had to use the toast to make a sandwich for the road. Old school Walworth vibes, 10/10

Been in Mary's quite a few times over the years, it's just had a fab facelift but this hasn't affected the friendly atmosphere nor the affordable prices. Nothing is ever a problem for H.Food is always yum, cooked by the lovely Hatice. You can't get a sausage like theirs anywhere else. So if your looking for good homecooked food head to Marys.
