Beautiful cafe and beautiful people, food is lovely (vegetarian). Great cafe and school. We go to meet my mother as she has worked here for over thirty years for lunch.

Excellent food and coffee. Lovely outdoor area. So cheap too! Feels so nice to be helping the community while enjoying a delicious breakfast! The cafe is teaching employment skills to young people with autism. PS they are cash only. Closest ATM is not that far away, at the Tesco Express :)

They have vegan soups for lunch, big portions. Lovely home cooked meals and great coffee.

My favourite cafe! Bells food is delicious, tasty and the atmosphere and customer service is out of this world. Love that she's implemented turkish, english and vegetarian options. Her coffees are better than costa. Defo worth a visit, would highly recommend. Thank you for my turkish coffee to help me set off my day! You guys must try the kofte panini (wow)! The moment I landed here in the UK, my friend insisted that we absolutely *must* eat at Bell's Cafe! Situated at the edge of Spa Park, Bell's is a cozy little hangout for all ages where she, the owner, knows everyone by name. For the kiddos, she has pint-sized tables, chairs, toys, and coloring books. She has a wide array of menu items to cover the pickiest of eaters (me) to the most adventurous of palates. She also caters to the furry 4-legged crowd too. All of her food is freshly made to order and if there's something you don't see amongst the pastries, she may make them right in front of you if it's not super busy. Even after she delivers the food to your table, she checks in to make sure that everything is done to your liking and chats with you to get to know you. All in all, I came in as a stranger and left as a friend. Thanks Bell!

My favourite coffee shop, Best coffee Excellent espresso I have ever had! Bell's always friendly and welcoming & Service always incredible, In addition to the great drinks and food, the cafe had a comfortable seating area, perfect for enjoying a quiet moment or catching up with friends. Tried both the peanut butter/ chocolate cookie and the cinnamon bun. Both delish and vegan. Their filter coffee and cold brew also come highly recommended. They also stock a good brand of kombucha. Lovely friendly service.

This place is my go-to neighbourhood spot! The staff are always quick and friendly, and the coffee/pastries are delicious. My only note is they always seem to run out of croissants, no matter what time I get there. I would love to see more stocked so I could actually try one!

Really great coffee, lovely staff, and nice bakes on offer. My only complaint is a lack of gluten free baked good options. But that aside, I will happily keep coming here going forward!

How can I not leave a 5 star review?! Greeted with smile at every entry the staff at Barton’s never fail to make you feel welcomed, feeling welcomed is one thing but the service they provide is incredible. There’s no better place I can think of to rewind and relax after a long day at work. People reading books , playing cards while listening to great music. I can’t think of a more tranquil place to spend my evening. While at Barton’s today I enjoyed a lovely glass of wine played a game of cards and in no time after ordering, our pizzas arrived ! which was Delicious. I could not fault it. It went down a treat. I would most certainly come to Barton’s over and over again, with no hesitation.

Amazing café with lots of coffees made out of good quality ingredients and lovely spot to hang out for a drink after work. Had a glass of good wine and a matcha latte (not together) and really enjoyed the environment and the vibe. Recommended

We had a delicious lunch. Phò & Special Bành Mi was excellent. Phó (noodle soup) is popular. Prawn & pork summe springroll is good. Not sure abt the Char siu noodles tho.

We've been to this restaurant a few times now, and it never disappoints. One of the highlights is their egg coffee—rich, velvety, and absolutely worth every penny. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan, there's something on the menu for everyone. During our last visit, I had a prawn pho with vegan broth, which was good! My partner had the fried chicken with noodles and loved it. This place is perfect for a quick lunch or for spending some time relaxing over a meal. If you're looking for an authentic Vietnamese dining experience, it's definitely worth a visit.

Good size restaurant with plenty of seating. Prices are reasonable to the portion of food. Pho was very delicious with a good deep broth. Friendly and helpful staff to top that off.

One of the best working cafes I’ve been to. You don’t ever have to worry about finding a seat to work as it’s a huge place. Good availability of charging ports. Cappuccino is one of the best I’ve had! Staff are welcoming and really friendly. Bathroom is nice and clean, no unwelcoming stenches 😅. Good transport links around, with access to buses and a 10min walk to London Bridge Station.

I’ve been coming here to work for over two years. It used to be called Shaman, but I have to say, since it became Frequency Coffee, it’s improved 200%. The staff here is super kind, and there’s one guy in particular, Owen, who always stands out with his amazing vibe and friendly attitude.. He really makes a difference every time I visit. The sandwiches are also delicious—I literally have one every day.

Stopped by Owen & Soae and had an incredible experience! The oat latte was smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced, while the matcha green latte had a vibrant, authentic flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. I stumbled across this really nice bakery on Monday and the food, coffee and staff were amazing! Aliyah, Sara and Elle were super lovely and helped me choose the best pastry and coffee for me and I loved the crownie & almond croissant they chose for me! I will definitely be coming back regularly now the sweetest staff.

Stop in here to grab a pint and glad I did. Super chill spot with friendly staff to vibe with after a long day. I got a local pale ale that was extremely good as well. 8.8.

Just opened and full of potential! The new addition to the Crol & Co family! This is a much larger space than the other 2 and has a fully equipped kitchen! The bar has a large offering of craft beers and selected spirits! Everything feels local and has a great cool touch to it.. from the decor to the atmosphere, the music and the menu! This is a cafe where to grab a good breakfast and a bar where you can hang out after work.. Local new gem! The prices are also really affordable for now! Burger and fries for 14£! Must come back!

loved my afternoon grinding and submitting finals here, the two toasties we got were yum, * i especially enjoyed the vegan raspberry coconut beetroot loaf!!🌟 plus the staff were so friendly and loved the music they played the whole time, we’re excited to come back and try the beef toastie next time since it wasn’t available today😖! all in all cute shop, cozy atmosphere, yumyum in tumtum, and lovely people! 💕

Having always been a fan of Crol and Co’s London Bridge location, I was excited to finally check out their South Bermondsey shop while in the area. The coffee here—my oat latte (£4.40, eat-in, served in a reusable cup)—is just as excellent as at their other spot, smooth and well-balanced. The shop itself is tiny but charming, with a cozy, homey vibe that’s inviting for a quick break. However, I was disappointed to learn they don’t allow laptops on weekends, which caught me off guard as I was planning to kill a few hours before my next appointment. While the quality is on point, I likely won’t return due to the combination of location and the no-laptop policy. That said, if you happen to be in South Bermondsey and are looking for a quick coffee stop, it’s a delightful option!

My favourite café on Bermondsey Street. A very tiny and cozy café. Their coffee is very good and their croissants are delicious! I found them years ago (my children were quite small), but it still there and haven’t changed since then.
