We had a delicious breakfast today. The soup of the day was outstanding as well as the truffle scrambled eggs. My sons wolfed down a sausage bap and tuna baguette. The owner was very passionate about his food and it was refreshing to see so much care over the dishes and attention paid to his customers' satisfaction. I was very pleased that he made me another Masala chai - to suit my personal taste (I like it strong!) - free of charge.

You have to visit this holy place if you are in Sutton 🤤 Every item on the menu is carefully crafted, cooked with a lovely mix of spices, each ingredient freshly made with a twist, to give you the extra zing. The dessert is amazing but you cannot have it to go. Best place to chill with your friends and family. The host/chef is a very friendly person and will lighten up your mood with a nice banter, if you are up to it. It could be a pound higher than your cold food at normal retail places but worth every pence 👍

Absolutely amazing food, service and ambience at LA Cafe. The breakfast is unreal, I especially enjoyed the vine tomatoes with their pesto!!! The food is presented so well and the place is spotless. The owner was very attentive and always checked that we were happy with the food and coffee and whether we would like anything else. we were very satisfied with this place and will definitely be coming back!

Well it def lived up to all the hype! The scrambled eggs were exceptional the best i have ever eaten. The bacon and sausage bap was also excellent great quality meat with the added bonus of the truffle sauce. The virgin mojito was also delicious and refreshing. Atmosphere for me was the only slight downfall. Music far too loud but maybe just showing my age there! Clean and great service too. Highly recommend and will def be back to try more from the menu.

Domestique Coffee

P: Not available

Rating: 4.9 (15) Price Level:

If you, like me, are tired of coffee chains in Cheam Village and want to try something more personal, then give Domestique a try. I stumbled accross this place needing a spot to eat and work for a while. Inside you'll find a lovely quiet spot with some good tunes, excellent food and superb coffee. I'm not a coffee snob but the coffee here is brilliant. Time was taken over this and the chap serving did not rush. You can tell that the coffee matters. I also had a lovely ham and bechemel cheese toastie which was just what I needed. This beats the local chains easily in terms of substance, style and vibe. Hands down the place to go in the village. Long may it continue!

Lovely independent coffee shop selling artisan coffees. The place has just been refurbished and has a cosy feel. Some high bar seating at the front, with sofa seating at the back which would accommodate larger groups. High chairs available too and dog friendly 😀 When I visited it was just coffee and a few pastries but I think they are hoping to have more lunch options in the future. Coffee beans available to purchase too. Overall a great addition to the cheam coffee shops. If you are wanting something more relaxed, with better coffee and supporting an independent shop go here over the chains in Cheam.

The best coffee you’ll find anywhere, out of all the coffee i’ve ever tasted the signature blend was by far the best. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic interior design and wall sockets available in case you wanted to bring your laptop to do some work. The Irish cruffin paired perfectly with the latte. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend you try this place! way better than any other high street chain coffee shops!

Lovely coffee shop that's newly established on Cheam Broadway. My favourite is the Mocha. It is rich, full of flavour and delicious. The staff are very helpful and polite. The ambience is quirky and fun but very welcoming. It is a happy place. One suggestion: could you please offer a larger cup version for your coffees? A lot of customers love to have larger coffee cups - it keeps a good conversation going for longer!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best place to relax and unwind in Sutton! The natural, tranquil atmosphere makes it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. I especially love it for children’s birthday parties – we’ve had two there, and both were absolutely fantastic. It’s such a peaceful and welcoming environment for families. On top of that, the variety of community events held here adds so much value to the space. It’s wonderful to have a spot that brings people together in such a relaxing and serene setting. Highly recommend!

Greenwoods Brunch and Lunch

48 High St, Cheam, Sutton SM3 8RW, UK | Cafe
P: 020 8770 3977

Rating: 4.6 (175) Price Level:

Three of us had afternoon tea at Greenwood at the end of November, and we were very impressed. (We have been for many afternoon teas in many places over the years). To start, the sandwiches were perfect; fresh and moist bread -they'd been made for our arrival- and excellent fillings. The little bit of homemade coleslaw in the cheese added an extra flavour dimension, and the ham was particularly tasty. The scones were the chef/owner's seasonal novelty with a little mincemeat in rather than sultanas -delicious, and the two pieces of cake per diner were from the selection baked in the shop. I like real cake; too many afternoon teas rely on macarons and weird pots of chocolatey goo that you eat with a teaspoon. Here the banana cake was delicious! The only slight reservation was that all the food needs plenty of tea to wash it down, and the young man kept bringing only half a pot at a time (but he was new). Finally, the retro crockery was very pretty, and we had a nice chat with the owner. Overall, a delightful and good value experience; special!

Visited the great new tearoom formerly known as Tashas Tearoom in Cheam Village today . Was greeted with a lovely welcome from the new owner Sally and her husband Alan straight away . Lovely homely feel to the place . Plenty of tables to sit at. We ordered drinks which came very quickly from the owners son George , lovely lad who was very helpful. We then ordered the Tuna and cheese Panini which came with some crisps and a small salad garnish, well presented and very tasty , would highly recommend a visit to this cozy tearoom that will prove to be an asset to Cheam Village.

Afternoon tea was a delight and is now our go-to place whilst the grandparents watch the kids. We booked in for afternoon tea and was greeted with a really warm welcome and a singing chef, which also makes you feel very comfortable. Tea was superb and presented in a lovely China set. Sandwich selection was delicious. The cakes, well, just chefs kiss! Beautiful. Price point we were very impressed and left there with a little takeaway box. We are looking forward to returning to our next visit already.

Went here today for a baby shower. It was an absolutely lovely day in there. All the food was handmade. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was quirky and cosy in there. Would definitely recommend it for and afternoon tea or just for your normal brekfast or lunch. If I didn't live so far away it would definitely be our weekly meeting point.

Hadn’t tried before, stopped in today after walking the dog in cheam park. We weren’t that hungry as had a cooked breakfast this morning , but stopped for a coffee and a cake. Such a delightful place, the people that run it are so kind and friendly. And the Victoria sponge was to die for. The prices are very reasonable. We will be back with a bigger appetite to try lunch with some friends. Give your money to a lovely local business not Starbucks. Thank you .

So as it goes for the staff they are very polite and professional who had my meal prepared in 5 minutes Now for the food. I ordered one lamb roast and one beef roast dinner. Both dinners came with carrots, pees, broccoli and cauliflower and roast potatoes. They give you amble of all veg. Sided with an extra pot of gravy and a single Yorkshire puddings. Now overall the meal was decent for the price of £6.99. But there are some down sides. Both meats had been cooked for a long time meaning they had flavour but lost they meatiness. The gravy is a generic gravy used for all meats which makes most of the meal taste the same. And all the veg is frozen. Now that may sound like a down side which it is but their is a saying in life, you pay for what you get. And here you pay £6.99 and you get a £6.99 roast . So overall due to the price, potion size and staff I give this rating a 3.8 stars ⭐️

This is my 2nd visit and, after asking my server, Paulina, for her recommendation I received Masala Baked Beans on Sourdough Toast. The meal with beautiful. At Trinco the servers know their stuff, the service is quick and attentive. The food tasty. The atmosphere is lovely. My 2nd visit was to satisfy my concern that my first visit wasn't just a fortunate happy experience and it wasn't. This visit was every bit as enjoyable as the first. Trinco can be accessed through the recycle shop on the ground floor and proceed up to the first floor. Being tucked away on the first floor adds to its charm and makes for a relaxing dining experience away from the the madness of Sutton High Street.if you want to take someone for a meal that is slightly different you will not be disappointed by coming here. It is my new happy place.

Coffee has improved recently as it used to taste burned. I like that plant milk is free. Just wish the hot drinks were bigger! Nice place to dine alone or with others, or to work for a couple of hours. Staff are all friendly and helpful.

Oru's Trinco isn't just a cafe, it's an experience. The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the interior is beautiful. I recently had the pleasure of trying the Oru Dahl, VLT sandwich, Paratha Wrap, and Banana Bread. Everything was delicious! The Oru Dahl was fragrant and comforting served with homemade chilli & coriander roti, the VLT sandwich was a symphony of flavors, the Paratha Wrap was flaky and flavorful, and the Banana Bread was moist and delicious. The staff at Oru's Trinco is amazing. They're passionate about their heritage and their craft, and they take the time to make sure you have a great experience. The interior of Oru's Trinco is modern and inviting. It's a great place to relax, work, or socialize. I highly recommend Oru's Trinco if you're looking for a delicious and authentic Sri Lankan experience. You won't be disappointed! Here are some of the things I loved about Oru's Trinco: The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The staff is warm and welcoming. The interior is beautiful. It's a great place to relax, work, or socialize. I would also like to add that Oru's Trinco is taking interesting shape with co-working, cafe, rooftop bar (coming soon) and other lifestyle offerings.
