Lovely little coffee shop a stone's throw from Deptford Bridge DLR station. Chap working there is lovely and is all too happy to have a bit of conversation with his customers. Clear why it seems to always be busy. Decent price too for the area, no more expensive than the chains and takes contactless. Nice coffee. p.s. I think your door is broken

Not tried the coffee yet but will do next time. Got a couple of pastries to go. Pain aux raisin had loads of fruit and the almond croissant is absolutely delicious (especially re-warmed in the air fryer if it makes it back!). Not too sweet, crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The cheese scone was highly regarded by a family member. Will return!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Corner Coffee Shop in New Cross is an absolute gem! As a local, I feel so lucky to have this fantastic spot right on my doorstep. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the owners always make you feel so welcome. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautifully designed interiors that make it a perfect place to relax or get some work done. On top of that, they host amazing exhibitions and classes that bring the community together and add a creative flair to the place. It’s more than just a coffee shop – it’s a true community hub. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Lovely friendly little coffee shop/cafe. Best in the New Cross area. Despite the small space, they have really made the most of it, with some seating, great coffee and a wide and very competitively priced sandwiches and baked goods selection. The sandwiches are particularly good - large, generously filled, delicious and around the £5 mark which is a lot less than chain coffee shops!

This is such a nice little shop and definitely underrated. The prices are affordable and comparable to most bakeries these days. Their pastries are excellent, and I’d absolutely recommend them. It’s a shame they aren’t busier because they truly deserve more recognition for what they offer. My only suggestion would be to offer larger coffee sizes with pricing to match!

I am a coffee lover. 🥰 I love places like this, that take great care to give you good service, quality, and above all hygiene, the latter is very important nowadays. 🤗The staff is super nice! I live in the area, and have a cafe just around the corner from my house, but I prefer to walk a bit further and come here.

Wow!!!! One of the best coffees I’ve honestly ever had. I went in when the place had a great star rating but only 28 reviews. Even though the reviews were raving, it is a new place and i kept my expectations neutral. Incredible coffee, great service, can’t wait to see the place grow!! Lovely.

The cappuccino and the chai were delightful, which I hardly recommend. The pain au chocolate was hard so I would definitely pass on it. The place is new and quite empty and still have this cold atmosphere as it is missing decorating and colours. It is quite small too I would suggest taking a take away. Other than that, service was really nice and overall I had a good experience. I recommend!

Tried their coffee several times, long black, flat white, batch brew. Ant they are all good. You MUST try this coffee shop if you fancy SOE!! Finally got a chance to taste this cute cheese kimchi pasty and it tasted amazing 😍! Btw, the owner is super nice 👍!

Went for a morning coffee and decided to try out this new spot. The coffee was delicious, and we grabbed some pastries, but they were a bit cold and hard. Would've been better if they offered to heat them up. The decor was nice, but the place was a bit small. Overall, a nice coffee shop to go in the morning after walk.

I go multiple times a week, and have never had a bad cup. Elsewhere is also carried at some other great coffee spots in the area so it’s obvious they are also respected and trusted within the coffee world. it’s a dream spot. go!

Take this from someone who’s on her 6th Loyalty Card. Their Mocha ( hot or cold) is beyond Amazing - it really does take you Elsewhere. Their staff is AMAZING. Especially, Tom. He brings in a curated experience at Elsewhere- he is very detailed at everything from the way he makes my coffee to the choice of music that creates very chill but warm atmosphere. It’s very rare to see customer service like that- you can easily see that he’s very passionate for coffee and art. AND THAT IS VERY INSPIRING!!!! I love the roasting machine in the background - it makes me feel like I’m part of the process.

Cracking cafe that does excellent coffee. If you are visiting or studying at GoldSmiths University or in this area for any reason, eschew Costa and head here. The staff are friendly and the vibe is chilled and welcoming. There is a good breakfast and lunch menu with a decent pastries selection.

Lovely cool, calm space considering its by a main road. I was expecting just coffee but they have a great variety of foods and fresh baked goods. My breakfast was quality, I felt very welcomed & they were sweet to my daughter. Can't wait to go again

super cute coffee shop!! their cinnamon rolls are downright addictive and often warm, the music is very cozy and the staff are always so nice and friendly. only thing i wish was different - the chairs/benches are a bit hard to sit on for a while. i’m definitely becoming a regular regardless❤️

An amazing coffee experience in New Cross. Fabulous coffee. And as fabulous was the brownie. The team members themselves were warm and friendly. The space is very minimal and yet very comfortable. Loved the little design elements. It is truly comfort space. Loved it. Would love to come back.

The food was served quickly and the staff were polite. However, I was a bit disappointed that my kofta was cooked like a flattened mini burger. It also did not match with the photos shown on the wall. I will also say the meat portion is on the small side. However, the food tastes freshly cooked. I enjoyed it.

Maybe the BEST fry up I've ever had at a cafe. Usually something is wrong but here everything was done perfectly. Good prices, strong coffee, good quality meat and ingredients. Highly recommended!!!

I love this place!! You are always warmly welcomed by staff and the jacket potatoes never disappoint. They also serve the best hot chocolate in New Cross in my opinion! If you go to the uni, definitely eat here over the eateries on campus, you get more for your money and good quality too. They prefer cash but do take card.

attracted by awesome pics of dishes, road side tables with glass windows and awning, we decided to have 1 English b/f of standard portion and 1 veggie. They were great. Main ticks: good portion that we took away bread and bacons and didn't have lunch that day, good price, warm hospitality. Here is the reason I would visit again - the cha latte. I had this firstly in Taiwan 10 years ago and several thereafter. This one is the best, though I would ask for half sugar next time.

Thank you for the wonderful, personal and friendly approach. A very kind man who served us our dish, anticipated the potential needs of my little son (put salad to another plate which I did not explicitly ask for etc). It may sound like a detail and why to do a big deal, but in my opinion these details make some place (or rather more people) special. I felt really welcomed there, for which I thank once again.

Hot chocolate alert! Really good serving size of food and generous love in a cup of hot chocolate. The chicken panini was delicious. The in-house pasta with Mediterranean chicken was quite interesting, although a tad dry. Definitely looking forward to visit for another hot cup of chocolate. I almost forgot, great views of the road from the sitting area… and books!

Freshly squeezed perfection. Cafe Boulangerie is a great, little bespoke café tucked away in New Cross. If you get here early you'll see the guys diligently preparing their popular creations which are freshly prepared, authentic scrumptious pieces of gorgeousness. The coffee is great but for me the freshly squeezed orange juice is outstanding 😚 Also, they are happy to create bespoke sandwiches for you (try that in Starbucks) and I can honestly say that I am always happy with the food I get here. You can sit down to eat, but I'm always on the run and for the 7 years I've been patronising this establishment - I've yet to find time to sit down... one day maybe. Give'em a go, they're outstanding.

Lovely little cafe, cash or minimum of £5 spend on a card, Clean and nicely decorated venue with friendly efficient staff. The menu has good choice with veggie options. You can fit 4 people on a table but only just. Toilet was clean and tidy but appeared to have been grouted by a blind person!!! If you have OCD don’t go in there....you will melt. Would definitely recommend and return...
