We came for early breakfast at 7.15. I didn’t expect much, but the breakfast was delicious, big and reasonably priced. I ordered Acai bowl that I never tried before and expected a granola type of thing. It was nothing like that! So much better, at least for me who does not like heavy breakfast! Can’t recommend enough: light, fresh, fruity, natural! My friend had avocado toast with egg and salmon topping. That was a generous topping! Coffee was very decent too and the staff was kind to add a happy face to my friend’s coffee (maybe because she was very young, teenager). Will come again and probably make this our breakfast destination.

I LOVED this place. 10/10. Veggie full English breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect for after a long walk in Richmond park. AND they gave us free mint tea. AND the coffee was delicious

Great food. I’m not a vegetarian but I love the veggie offerings. The Full veggie breakfast is generous. I’ve just had the fritters which are delicious and generous too. Love it. Friendly local and rustic. A treasure amongst the generic chains. Highly recommended!

We had the "Big Breakfast", Pancakes with the grilled banana and bacon (BEST PANCAKES I'VE EVER HAD!). Service was fast, the owners and serves were lovely and very welcoming. Definitely pop to if you're in Richmond.

Absolutely the best coffee spot in Richmond. Excelling in a great coffee experience and service. The music is just the right amount of volume, just so you can hear every word that is being spoken.

Formerly a Coffeeology, this is now an Electric Coffee. I’m a regular at the Ealing site, so I was happy when I found out about this Richmond site. It’s smaller than the former, but the location is full of character. I came for a coffee and a light lunch. Not a huge variety of savoury items but the cheese and spinach pie was delicious.

The Ethiopian ice coffee was incredible. The gentleman in side was insightful and enthusiastic! Definitely stop for a treat!

Friendly baristas. Good coffee and pastries. A modern and minimalist vibe. Kiss the Hippo is a lovely cafe to visit in Richmond. Very centrally located too.

Specialty coffee extracted beautifully across a variety of drinks. I had a Brazilian single origin cortado and sampled lattes with both dairy and oat. All were brilliant but the way that blend went with the textured milk was divine. They had a great selection of home brewing equipment on sale too should you be a hobbyist. Wonderful!

I recently visited this amazing coffee shop Kiss the Hippo Coffee in Richmond and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The (owner) of the shop was incredibly polite and helpful, making my experience there all the more enjoyable. The hospitality was truly remarkable and I felt right at home. This coffeeshop is known for its excellent coffee and top-notch service. Customers rave about the expertly crafted drinks, made with high-quality beans and served by love. The coffee it self was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a warm and friendly environment to enjoy a cup of coffee. The café itself is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating both indoors and out. It has a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable seating, making it a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and catch up with friends or get some work done In addition to the delicious coffee, Kiss the Hippo also offers an impressive selection of baked goods, including pastries, cakes, and cookies. I recommend trying the croissants and other treats, which are baked fresh daily Overall, Kiss the Hippo Coffee in Richmond is a great place to grab a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy tasty baked goods, and relax with friends or work on your own. Nice spot. If seating outside you can relax looking towards the park. Helpful staff. Quick service. Excellent Espresso. The desert is a bit old. No card payments. Excellent prices.

Stumbled across this whilst in Richmond for 3 days, a warm and friendly welcome, great vegetarian and other breakfast options with lots of tempting pastries to go with with amazing coffees. Cash only but great value for money, highly recommend. Hazel and Chris.

A true gem of richmond. Beautiful family run cafe, the attention to customer service is superb and the whole team really care about each guest. Food is delicious and well priced, also a flexible menu if you like to mix things up. My wife and I first called in a couple of weeks ago for a coffee and have been back 3 times since. Coffee is great, pastries are excellent, the full breakfast is a great size and delicious. We’ll be back again and again, thank you guys.

Really great place for breakfast in Richmond. Very friendly and dogs are allowed with an amazing choice of cake. I would recommend the Turkish Eggs from the breakfast menu.

A wonderful, cosy spot to enjoy breakfast/brunch and lunch, and even wine! Plus, they have a great selection of produce and shelf-stable goods to take home. The display case is full of delicious sausage rolls, quiches, soups and more. The granola is a good portion size and very well made. Also recommend the brie and bacon toastie!

Very elegant, nice and quiet place for breakfast or lunch. Feeling warm and cozy sitting by the side of the window. It’s shame that the menu is not available today but still have variety food selection including toast, sandwiches, cake, tart or cookies etc. Latte smell really good and hot. The seller patiently explain to us what ingredients for the sandwich while my little one can’t eat spicy. It’s a 5 stars cafe!

Coffee and food always good quality here. Even a basic order like tomato soup (pictured already gobbled up) will satisfy you (comes with excellent sourdough!) Has wifi here unlike the new fancy Hagen down the hill. Decent music. Only downside is the ordering area near the entrance is cramped when it’s busy and you may end up queueing in the cold.

Lovely little cafe with delicious food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and constantly made sure we were looked after. We sat in front of the small kitchen area and watched the chef make our meals. A nice experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes which were generous in portions. We completed our brunch with a slice of carrot cake. It was moist and was the least sickly sweet carrot cake I've had so far. Probably the best carrot cake I've ever had. I'd definitely come back again.

Genuinely had one of the best espresso's of my life was perfection. Was really bold in its vanilla and ended on a lovely fruity pomegranate flavour once it cooled. I also grabbed a sandwich was really lovely nice and spicy and sweet aubergines. However the highlight is the gorgeous garden to sit in will be returning.

The best this place has to offer is the location. Waterfront seating in Richmond is worth it. Coffee and food are good, just that not extraordinary. If the weather allows, sitting outside is the best choice. The interior can be a bit gloomy, under the arches of the bridge, but it’s not bad.

All foods and cakes are vegetarian and vegan. We ordered the Feta and Spinach quiche. It was very good and delicious. There was other herbs inside too. The crust was very light and it melted in mouth. The vegan sausage roll was good too. It tasted a bit unusual for me, but was good to try. I didn’t like the Samosa. It wasn’t too spicy but the stuff in there was not very good. The red velvet cheesecake was very delicious and fresh, as of I forgot to take its picture at the beginning😂

Lovely cafe my the river. We had black Americans, white wine & 2 Portuguese tarts, yummy. Prices ok. Need a code for the toilet. Nice seating and atmosphere. All veggie and some vegan options.
