Less than a year before our wedding, we contacted Tala at UCG Luxury Destination Events to be our wedding planner. Tala herself came highly recommended through friends and word of mouth, and from the moment we met, I could see this was by far the best decision we could make. My husband and I live in London but our families are in different parts of the world. To quickly organise a personal, beautiful, heartfelt, fun wedding for 130 guests coming from all corners of the globe was daunting to us, but a piece of cake for UCG! Tala got to work immediately by getting to know us personally and then asking us the right questions in order to shortlist and organise viewings of venues in the city as well as in the nearby countryside that would fit within our wants, needs, budget, and overall vibe of what we wanted for our wedding. She found us the most beautiful manor house/events hall in Surrey (easy access for our guests – an hour from the city and near Heathrow Airport) that provided the "English Garden" beauty, romanticism and escapism we wanted to highlight for our guests coming from the Middle East, the US, and other parts of the UK during the summer of 2022. They even had wild peacocks roaming around the gardens! From then on and throughout the planning, UCG remained incredible – and we are still just so grateful. Tala's attention to detail, speed at which she would organise the next thing on "the list", her professionalism, rapport with vendors, her joyful and friendly demeanour kept us calm during what is known to be a stressful time! No matter what silly question we had or what anxious feeling we had, Tala was there. To hire someone who became a good friend was just the icing on top. She drove with us to flower vendors, she dealt with negotiations, we would bounce ideas off of each other, she would scour the net to find things we didn't even think of, all to add that extra personal touch. Tala worked tirelessly to make our vision come to life, and did it all with a smile. Many wedding/event planners just do what they've outlined in the contract, but not UCG – they go above and beyond. The morning after our wedding, Tala had organised a box for me of little mementos from the night! Honestly, thanks to UCG's impeccable planning, we did not have one stress on our wedding day. Tash from Sandeman Events was the event planner for our wedding which was originally due to take place in July 2020. Even before Covid arrived the process of planning a wedding with Tash was so easy. I don't feel like I was always particularly articulate in describing what I wanted for the day but Tash's has such an intuitive approach which made it feel like she read my mind with everything that was delivered. All of the suppliers she works with are just extraordinary and she was so careful to work within our budget. I had the added experience of working with Tash through three subsequent postponements of our wedding day due to Covid. From July 2020, to September 2020 to May 2021 and finally to July 2021. There is absolutely no way we would have managed through all those postponements without Tash. Due to the strong relationships she has with her suppliers we were able to move the wedding at no additional cost and lost no deposits. When we finally got to it the day was so beyond what we had imagined and there was just no stress at all for us as Tash and her team take care of everything in the lead up, on the day and afterwards. I only wish I could get married again just so I can plan another wedding with Sandeman Events!!

I contacted Chenai after my wedding had been postponed due to covid. I had lost all enthusiasm in wedding planning and needed support and advice mainly for styling! Chenai was so supportive and created a design board after listening to my ideas and making some beautiful suggestions. My (newly wed) wife and I asked Carolina to help with our wedding earlier this year in Bologna. Carolina was nothing short of superb - from start to finish - navigating a wedding in Italy without Carolina would have been problematic to say the least; she was able to help us navigate the red tape, legalities and add her very personal touch to every aspect of our special day. We'd initially planned on marrying in 2021 but choose to defer by a year, Carolina quickly communicated this to all suppliers and within a week, we'd secured our venue/suppliers without any headache - this alone was enough to cement the wise decision in working with Carolina. If you're looking to get married in Italy, do not hesitate to contact Carolina. Carolina is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Italian weddings. Carolina managed every aspect of our wedding other than what we wore; that being said, is also incredibly light-touch too - when we asked for time to think things through she understood and stepped back, conversely when we couldn't decide and asked her to make a decision for us, she was resolute in doing so. I say without hesitation that Carolina was key in helping us create memories that will last forever.

When my partner and I decided to have our dream wedding in Bologna, Italy we begun by trying to find out the type of ceremony we could have as Church of England Christians (Christened but not religious) As Italy is run by the Catholic Church this was harder than we thought. We then tried to find a venue we could be married at, again not so easy, we could only legally marry in Bologna’s beautiful Town-hall or a venue in another town by the Major. After much research we felt we needed some help and guidance. We spoke with five wedding planners in total, Carolina was the last and only choice for us. She explained all the legalities so clearly and had a wonderful range of venues to choose (legal and symbolic) Her percentage fee worked for us and her services were worth every penny. Most importantly, we simply wouldn’t have had the wedding of our dreams without her. Carolina had advised us to visit Bologna before we picked a venue. Stupidly we didn’t and paid a deposit for a beautiful venue we had seen in photos. When on a rainy day in November we finally visited the venue we didn’t feel it was where we had imagined the wedding. On a Saturday morning I messaged Carolina with my concerns and within two hours she had organised for us to visit another venue the following day!! This was incredibly stressful day but Carolina sorted it out efficiently and calmly which is exactly what you need when planning a wedding! Venue of dreams sorted, she then gave us three quotation for catering, this was an easy choice because all the menus sounded delicious. We went with the mid range costing menu, since the wedding the food and venue are the highlights with our guests constantly going on about how the food was so delicious! Carolina works with a spectacular florist, again good value and most importantly we were delighted with the flower arrangements especially my bouquet. Like the catering we were given three quotations for the photographer. All similar prices so it was a case of picking our favourite style. Really happy with the outcome, they captured the day beautifully. A couple of months before the wedding we decided to get a videographer and again Carolina sorted this our immaculately. We had some special requests: Parmesan wheel, craft beers, extra material to decorate marquee, lighting, dance floor and an opera singer that Carolina arranged wonderfully. On the day Carolina was there to orchestrate all the moving parts which meant my husband and I could enjoy the day without any worries. The only glitch we had was the very lengthy speeches (not in Carolina's control) which could of ruined the food but somehow this was completely unaffected by her amazing organisational skills. Only negative which is also a positive we wished the wedding could have been longer as everyone was having such a fabulous time. Best wedding EVER and we couldn’t have done it with Carolina, she is a super star wedding planner!!!

Camilla planned our wedding from A to Z and it was literally our dream wedding. Her professionalism, dedication, attention to details and hard work are remarkable. I don’t think we can put into words how much Camilla has done for us! She gave us the best wedding ever - we are over the moon. She thought of absolutely everything, her for detail is outstanding, she has incredible taste and vision. Our wedding was perfect, she made it hassle free and knew exactly when to bother us with details and when to take charge. Of particular note is the presentation for cutting the cake, she transformed the area into a dream-like sequence with floating candles, an arch and a neon sign with our new surname. She had a vision and executed it brilliantly - this was all her and was the most beautiful thing to behold! Additionally, Camilla and her assistants are so lovely - we think of Camilla as a lifelong friend after only knowing her through the last 9 months as our planner extraordinaire. On top of this, they arrange all your viewings for you so you don't have to spend so much time contacting venues. Aneeza in particular who made all my bookings for me was a godsend! She was beyond helpful, always kept me in the loop, was extremely efficient and had a great relationship with all the venues so made the process really smooth!
