The most friendly, kind and helpful staff. I was a bit stranded in my husbands recently purchased Tesla. I drove up and shared my struggle and they went above and beyond to assist me. The staff charged the vehicle, I was able to purchase a drink while I waited. If they are this courteous to non members, I can only imagine how wonderful they are to members. Highly recommend!!!

I played the course a week ago with my soon to be son-in-laws father who is a member. Unbelievable experience, from the greeting as if I was a member, to the pro and especially the caddies. And the course, perfection comes to mind. All I can say is wow.

What an awesome experience this golf course is! Walking the course with a caddie helps connect you to the course. My caddie Andrew was great, a real professional.

Was there visiting for the 24 Men’s Mid-amateur championship. Gorgeous course, and fast and undulating greens. The course was set up with a high degree of difficulty for these amazing golfers. The staff were very nice and helpful. It’s a long course to walk but beautiful every step of the way. Restrooms were clean and nice.

Impossible Rice bowl (with grilled tuna) was delightful and the fried oysters small plate was perfect! The oysters were lightly breaded and fried so that they were crisp and not soggy but soft enough to pleasantly chew— a difficult line to walk. The black bean soup was different and fine but a touch too “vinegary” for our taste. Still an adventure worth having. Several folk got smashburgers —a big hit! Service was great — several staff members jumped in to care for our table of 9. Everyone left happy!

Savage Creek Golf Course & Driving Range

7388 No 6 Rd, Richmond, BC V6W 1C8, Canada | Golf Course
P: (604) 278-7500

Rating: 4.5 (889) Price Level:

My friend and I were supposed to play a full course but it was raining really hard so we canceled. He decided to book Savage for a late tee time, hoping the rain let up and it's only a 16-hole executive. We got lucky because there were a lot of cancellations, so we got a late afternoon tee time. It rained lightly on and off, and we were able to play at a very good pace. I really like this course. The fairways are nice. It has a good mix of short and long fairways, par4s to bring the driver out and par 3s for your irons. The fairways are mostly straight but hilly, and a few sharp doglegs and well maintained. Savage is a multi use facility. Not only does it have a nicely laid out executive course, but it has a huge 2 level driving range, which is crazy busy. It has a putting green and an 18 hole putting course for family fun. The clubhouse has club rentals and golf lessons and serves some bakery, sandwiches, and coffee.

We love the mini putting experience here at Savage Creek because it's a beautiful environment and we get to play on real grass instead of turf. Although it's always busy and sometimes really hard to get a spot, my husband enjoys the range as well. Service desk employees are always friendly. I'd recommend Savage Creek get more traditional and spicy Motts Caesars - they seem to run out an awful lot.

My favourite golf course in Richmond. Perfect for golfers in different skill levels. Course maintenance alright (could be better), easy to book online, and very reasonable price. The power carts are in good condition that show yardages with no bad gasoline smell like some. I like walking, and 16 holes is perfect without feeling fatigue throughout the round. Staffs are all very nice. I have met a lot of people playing there.

Probably one of the best mini golf courses that I’ve been to. Also pretty value at $7/person. There was lots of free parking and the course was super clean and well kept. Had a blast!

My niece’s wedding was held Saturday at independence. It was the most perfectly orchestrated event I have ever attended. Every single detail was perfectly executed. The wedding included 125 guests for cocktail hour, wedding, dinner and reception. Megan and her crew are absolutely the finest at what they do. They are True professionals and highly experienced in every facet of event hosting. If you want a larger event to go perfectly I would highly recommend this venue. The entire staff was professional, kind, respectful and very courteous. The entire experience was flawless start to finish!

Enjoyed a round at Meadowbrook Country Club as a "member for a day" offer on GolfNow. Thoroughly enjoyed the round. We have gotten a ton of rain lately, so the greens were soft and had some iffy spots here and there. Overall the course was in excellent condition. The layout is interesting and I really like that homes adjacent to the course are set back. Trees at this course are mature and make some holes quite narrow off the tee. Had a great experience!

I love this course. Challenging and bit narrow on some shots but lots of chances to hit good recovery shots. The people are awesome and they openly welcome the public. Something most privates don’t seem to do here sadly. This is a beautiful quiet suburb course. The island par 3 gives straight up sawgrass vibes.

A nicely kept 9 hole par 3 course in the city. Maybe on the short and easy side, it is welcoming to have it in this part of neighborhood that sometimes have a tougher reputation.

An odd little 6 hole course and driving range tucked into an urban neighborhood. The course is crazy short, you play the entire thing with wedges and a putter, no reason to ever even use a tee, it takes about 30min to play and is good wedge practice. I was surprised by how nicely kept the grounds were, definitely worth a stop by. I will probably bring friends here that want to learn golf.

Lots of space for those seeking some range time. Posts at variable distances. At this time (7/1/18) the Par 3 nine hole course is closed and under rehab, as well as the putting green. Staff states they should be ready to go by August. Range grass was fresh and in great shape! I'll be back! 6.50 for a small bucket 10.50 for a medium (75 balls) 14.00 for a large

Been golfing for 20 years. This place is awesome. You have an excellent driving range that is very well kept, along with a 6-hole par 3 in excellent condition, a covered range, a chipping green, and a putting green. They also have a nice fitting room and staff on site for service needs. Ball prices are probably the most reasonable in the area when combined with convenience of everything.

Recently held my son's 21st birthday at the venue. The event organiser (Erin) was excellent. She was thorough, supportive and we could not want for anything On the night Marcin - was not only professional, but kept things moving so smoothly - made sure everything was on point. The staff - they helped to make the event memorable in every way. We could not ask any more of everyone involved. The venue was perfect , the finger food .. perfect... to be honest we could have continued partying until dawn. Thanks again for a memorable event

Rating: 4.3 (152) Price Level:

If you're looking to join a golf club you can do a lot worse than stonehenge. I found the course well-maintained and had an interesting layout. The fairways are wide and the greens are receptive. They had some par threes that were over 200 yards. If you have a complete practice facility as well as swimming antennas. I found the membership fees to be very reasonable for what you get however the lack of a cart plan was it pain point. So if me and my wife wanted to go out and play, even with the membership, it would cost us around $56 if we chose to ride. Matt , the membership director, was very welcoming and informative. For that matter the entire staff was great.

We are members at the club and have always enjoyed the staff and food at the restraunt, but was nervous when the chef left. Last week I hosted my daughters bridal shower there and as usual, the food and service was impeccable. Every thing was set up just as requested, the food was fresh, plentiful and delicious, and the service was attentive but not pushy. I would highly recommend not only having an event there, but becoming a member.

This course was in great condition. Membership prices are competitive — among the most competitive I’d say though I have frequented as a guest. Apparently the course wasn’t in best condition a while back but it is top notch now. Definitely worth a drive if you’re within an hour. Greens are true, facilities are nice too. Secluded feel on the course despite the occasional house.

Queenfield Golf Club

1896 Dabneys Mill Rd, Manquin, VA 23106, USA | Sports Club
P: (804) 769-8838

Rating: 4.3 (67) Price Level:

Fairways were good, greens rolled at friendly speeds and true lines. A few dry spots here and there and some teeboxes were heavy with divots, but that's on the players to fill in. Layout was easy enough for beginners to still have a good time. Bit outside Richmond but well worth the drive to avoid the crowds. At times I felt like I had the course to myself on a Saturday afternoon! Will definitely be back

I have been in the area a couple of years and decided to check out Queenfield and get back to playing. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and took the time to give me a rundown of the course. I’m pretty new to golf, so I don’t have many facilities to compare it to, but for me continuing to learn, the price is reasonable and I felt comfortable displaying my subpar skills and not feeling judged.

The course is in good shape, with all the rain. Lot's of poison ivy off the fairways. That's typical on Richmond courses, so carry a club when foraging. Greens are receptive, & the price is right. Enjoy....!

Nice little course. Based on a few reviews and considering how much rain we've had lately it was drier than I expected. It's also freshly aerated but is pretty clean and still plays OK. If you're a beginner or, like me, starting to play again after a hiatus of a couple decades, it's a flat, relatively easy, short layout and worth the price of admission (which is dirt cheap at the senior rate to walk 18 holes).
