Hendon golf club was perfect venue for our events. The grounds gave a beautiful backdrop and the facilities were of high standard. Can’t thank the staff enough for being so helpful and amazing. Thank you very much for making both our functions very memorable.

Very well maintained place. Lots of greenery. Huge golf course. Falls in North London. Falls in London Borough of Barnet. Closest Tube station is Mill Hill East on the Northern Line. Lots of Golf tournaments, contests conducted here. The 1st floor venue is given on rent for Weddings, parties, anniversary gatherings, wake, reception, Farewell parties, etc. Kids friendly place. Family friendly place also. Toilet facilities are provided on the first floor which are very clean.

Course is in great condition now and greens are at their usual best. You may even get a glimpse of the baby deer running around the 12th green. Bunkers are back to being nice and sandy

Excellent golf club. Course is very well kept, well done the groundsmen! Fairways are lovely, been well watered so a joy to play even in the hight summer. Greens are very fast and challenging. The club house is very nice with a lovely view of the course. Staff are all very friendly and there is a very good choice of beers and spirits at the bar. Nice changing rooms clean and even a sauna. Really picturesque course couldn't find a fault definitely will be coming here again soon.

My husband and I had our Indian Pre Wedding event here, and we have nothing but positive feedback for the Hendon Golf Club team. To start, our requirements were met with ease, Malachy and his entire team were beyond accommodating and nothing was too much for them. Our guests were blown away with the event, and I truly believe that this is down to the venue. The views of the golf course from the decking area, which we used for our food service, allowed for guests to relax and enjoy their meal with great views. To the entire team at HGC, we thank you so much. Our event was everything we could've wished for, and more. We'd highly recommend booking the space for any events!

Recently held my son's 21st birthday at the venue. The event organiser (Erin) was excellent. She was thorough, supportive and we could not want for anything On the night Marcin - was not only professional, but kept things moving so smoothly - made sure everything was on point. The staff - they helped to make the event memorable in every way. We could not ask any more of everyone involved. The venue was perfect , the finger food .. perfect... to be honest we could have continued partying until dawn. Thanks again for a memorable event

We had our wedding at the Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club on 2nd September 2023 and what a brilliant choice that was. Emma, Marcin, Kenga and the whole team worked around the clock to make our event well and truly special. They were very accomodating and the guests all had a fantastic time. We could have not simply have asked for anything more.

Excellent place for a celebration lunch - good management, careful attention to our requests and plans, really delicious carvery (the beef!) and well presented starters and desserts, efficient service, and all in a lovely spacious function suite with views over the greens. No need to be a member.

We visited the club as guests of a member. Absolutely amazing place, from the minute we arrived and the greetings plus service from the staff.The quality of presentation of facilities in the club house and restaurants and bar were outstanding. The history and memorabilia are brilliant and a remarkable history of golf The course is fabulous and every hole is a new vista and a delight. The whole place is beyond superlatives. If you get the chance to visit and play this is a once in a lifetime experience.

Visited for the BMW championship. Firstly the organisation was incredible took us barely any time to get into the ground and to get on buses back to the car park. The only real disappointment is the 18th access to the public; very little space for punter to see the action. I would also suggest they could do with starting the music entertainment a bit early to get punters to stay. The ground itself and the club is fantastic though and would highly recommend.

An excellent course for the PGA Golf Tournament. The buses from Ascot ran smoothly every 5 to 10 mins back and forth. Amazing views while walking between holes the course facilities were set out very well with coverage and stands located in perfect places. The grandstand views were fantastic. An overall excellent experience well worth the money per ticket.

Posting as secretary of the Essex Medical Golf Society on behalf of its wonderful members… I have been asked to commend Sam and the brilliant staff at Brickendon Grange, who went above and beyond to cater for the needs of the players. Beautifully maintained green was commented on and they all were in unison for a repeated visit to this 5* golf club. The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the society day. I played this course as part of an away fixture. The first time that I've played the course and was really pleasantly surprised. The club house is an extended manor house with a very modern dining and patio area behind the main entrance. The practice area is pretty good with separate nets, putting green, chipping area and grass range. The only down side was, that because it is corporate owned i presume, that there was a function going on which meant the place was packed and we had to park adjacent to the grass range, leaving numerous cars in danger of an errant golf ball from there. The course itself is a tree lined parkland course with some really nice holes. There is enough elevation throughout the course to make for some great views but it does mean that you are playing a couple of blind approach shots. The course was in great condition. The fairways had really good coverage, the greens were of a good standard with a consistent roll and had enough slope on them to make for some challenging putts. The trees around the course provide some testing drives but with plenty of space further out for longer hitters. A couple of nice dog leg holes require accurate tee shots with challenging approaches. The final hole is a good looking par 3 up hill, with a view into the patio area. The members were friendly and the food was good. There were parts of the course that were still a little damp but there is a fair amount of water in the way of pond or streams to add further challenges into your round so not that surprising. Overall well worth a visit but it definitely should be played off the back tees to get the most out of your time there.

Brickendon Grange Golf Club is located in Hertfordshire countryside in the village of Brickendon, set within 100 plus acres this is a beautiful golf course, I don’t play myself but the backdrop to the clubhouse is just gorgeous, stunning and beautiful. My birthday party was my requirement, I had considered other venues, but this place was head and shoulders above anywhere else, the Grange Suite would be my destination, my party arrangers would be Angie and Jo, these excellent ladies are absolute angels, ( they are a credit to the events department) all my party requests would be arranged, some brilliant ideas were put forward, the food choices were chosen, the chefs are excellent, as it was a November birthday which occurred in December, Santa was suggested to bring Xmas cheer to kids alongside a soft play area, I tell you ladies know how to put a party together, not forgetting the last minute DJ requirement, Jo to the rescue. On the day, the Grange Suite was suitably dressed for the occasion, everything was set, Lin and her second in command were explemary, I had no worries, so I could be free to enjoy the occasion, the food was spot on, my guests commented on restaurants food of the highest standards, the chefs are definitely top drawer. My party guests have said this was the best party experience they have ever experienced, this is high praise indeed. So in closing I can’t thank enough, Angie, Jo and Lin and those behind the scenes, so for any event THIS IS THE VENUE AND TEAM TO CHOSE

We held a small family party (low key) at Brickendon Grange. It is a lovely building in well kept grounds. The staff were very efficient and attentive. They decorated the table for us beautifully and clearly had spent some time doing this. We were in the Oak Room, which was very suitable for 19 of us to be seated comfortably. The food was lovely (vegetarians catered for). Cannot fault it .

Played on the excellent Heritage course in the Pro Am. A very challenging course with some interesting holes. The condition cannot be faulted in any way (maybe the rough a little high 😆). Lovely clubhouse and friendly staff. A great experience.

Great course, facilities and clubhouse. A few challenging holes, especially visually over water. Accurate driving is paramount with the rough/fescue being fairly pronounced. Weather comes into play big time due to its location and being exposed to elements. Make sure to get a buggy as distance from green to the next tee is generally far. Definitely one to revisit. The pro shop is well stocked and the food is pretty decent.

Friendly, not busy and cheap membership by London standards. Although it's a 9 hole, it's a proper golf course with many holes needing a driver and mid to long iron to reach the green. Beyond that, it's quite nice that it's a nine hole, you can get round in an hour and a half and still have time for the rest of your life. The greenkeepers do a great job of keeping standards up on a relatively shoestring budget.

I finally got to play Highgate after winning a voucher at a charity golf day at my own club. Really worth the wait as was really impressed. Four of us played and had the best stableford comp we'd played for a while, all scoring really well. The course was in brilliant condition especially in comparison to the courses I've played recently that are struggling with keeping the fairways green with the heat and lack of rain. The greens and aprons where fantastic and the interesting topography made the course so much fun to plot around. I really liked the way you have a cross over of a few of the holes with this almost communal Plato adjoining them all made it really unique. After we finished our round we enjoyed a nice gin cocktail made from locally sourced Gin and did the usual assessment of the course and of course the round and the unanimous feed back was an amazing course we all wanted to get back play at the next opportunity.

I joined a few months ago, and the experience has just been fantastic! I didn't know anyone there, but has since gotten to know so many members, most of whom have been members there for 10+ year. It's just such a friendly community, and such an impressive collection of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences. The staff as well really make an effort to know everyone, which actually does make a difference. There's plenty of competitions and social events to get involved in, so I'm playing a lot more than I initially planned to... The fees I should say are very reasonable as well, compared to some other clubs I've inquired to. They have special rates for young professionals and students, so it's really worth a visit.

3rd time visiting and it's always a treat. Well worth the green fees. Highlights: pure quality of greens and overall course. Lowlights: £3.15 for a sausage in a dry bun along with the bar not being open until 11am (thus no breakfast!).

Extensive and beautifully landscaped golf course that has opened its doors during lockdown to allow non-members to explore its rolling spaces. A secret oasis of green normally hidden from the public's eyes - lets hope it isn't closed off again for ever more when the lockdown ends.

Lovely golf club. The best welcome committee I have ever had as an old guy with a white beard welcomes you at the car park entrance. Did not play the course as was working but looked tricky in the high wind of the day. But greens were manicured and the re wilding of some of the fairways looks good. Club house was old worlde but well maintained. Food looked good and the small shop on site well stocked. Coffee was amazing and cakes at the halfway house recommended. The date cake was lovely.

Great course, not too long and not too narrow, but still a decent challenge, especially if you don't get your drive away or if you don't know your yardages with your irons. Greens in decent shape given that we played towards the end of October after a week of rain. Good little hut serving bacon/sausage baps and hot/cold drinks. Great views of the ever growing London skyline from the holes at the highest point of the course (and the club house). Also saw a giant mushroom! 😀

A golf course with a tale of two halves - The first half is a short but tight track with no real stand out holes apart from maybe the 2nd which has a tight and blind tee shot. From home 9 onwards the track really comes into it's own. The fairways and greens were in great condition with only a few dry patches around some areas. I played during a twighlight time and the course was relatively quiet. Would play again.

Really lovely course, well kept. Would of given 5 stars if bunkers were proper sand. Most are dirt. Very challenging course, narrow fairways. Greens are perfect. They spray them to make them look extra green. Very hilly course so you have to be fit if walking! Buggies available. Good choice of food extensive menu. Staff all round are friendly and helpful. Definitely be playing here again.
