Played on the excellent Heritage course in the Pro Am. A very challenging course with some interesting holes. The condition cannot be faulted in any way (maybe the rough a little high šŸ˜†). Lovely clubhouse and friendly staff. A great experience.

Great course, facilities and clubhouse. A few challenging holes, especially visually over water. Accurate driving is paramount with the rough/fescue being fairly pronounced. Weather comes into play big time due to its location and being exposed to elements. Make sure to get a buggy as distance from green to the next tee is generally far. Definitely one to revisit. The pro shop is well stocked and the food is pretty decent.

This is an absolutely gorgeous place! Somehow affiliated with Canada the place features more beaver šŸ¦« figures and impressions than I've ever seen (including one on the club's arms). Beautiful greens, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff - a worthwhile experience! Their Pro Shop offers a nice selection of golfing tools and attire, too

This could be my new favourite golf course. It seems the perfect London golf club offering variety, charm, challenge, and manicured greens. Lovely warm welcome from the pro shop on my first visit this morn. While I can get rounds for Ā£28 Iā€™ll keep coming!

Course is in great condition now and greens are at their usual best. You may even get a glimpse of the baby deer running around the 12th green. Bunkers are back to being nice and sandy

My husband and I had our Indian Pre Wedding event here, and we have nothing but positive feedback for the Hendon Golf Club team. To start, our requirements were met with ease, Malachy and his entire team were beyond accommodating and nothing was too much for them. Our guests were blown away with the event, and I truly believe that this is down to the venue. The views of the golf course from the decking area, which we used for our food service, allowed for guests to relax and enjoy their meal with great views. To the entire team at HGC, we thank you so much. Our event was everything we could've wished for, and more. We'd highly recommend booking the space for any events!

Excellent golf club. Course is very well kept, well done the groundsmen! Fairways are lovely, been well watered so a joy to play even in the hight summer. Greens are very fast and challenging. The club house is very nice with a lovely view of the course. Staff are all very friendly and there is a very good choice of beers and spirits at the bar. Nice changing rooms clean and even a sauna. Really picturesque course couldn't find a fault definitely will be coming here again soon.

We have held our golf day at this same venue for 39 years. It is always in good condition and the catering and bar staff are super friendly. Ideal course for a golf day especially if not everybody plays regularly as is not long but always a fair challenge.

Great driving range, reasonably priced. Club hire is extra if you donā€™t have your own but at Ā£1 per club you canā€™t really argue. American Golf on site which is well stocked with friendly helpful staff. this really is an all in one place with a driving range, par 3 course, adventure golf and an Italian restaurant all on the one site. Itā€™s better to make a reservation or wait until a person finishes. This place is usually busy. Itā€™s a very good spot for a weekend getaway with friends or just by yourself. Very affordable and well maintained.

What a hidden gem of a course , brilliant lay out , fantastic fairways , several doglegs that make you think and tough greens with bunkers that really test your skills , All in top class condition from start to finish , I played there on Wednesday , no crowded tee boxes or fairways , a 3 1/2 hour round , perfect ! The only draw back is the noise on the first couple and last holes as the course is nestled between the M1 and A1 and I mean right next to it !!! Over look that and you will have a truly wonderful round of golf ,

Played here a few times now, lovely course. Well kept fairways and greens. Beautiful scenery and lovely lake. Challenging course. Unusual way of getting to the course from the club house. You have to use the underpass to get to the other side of the duel carriage way. Food is good and a very good bar selection especially whiskeys šŸ˜‰ Staff throughout the club are nice and friendly.

Staff and Venue: Super friendly and no doubt a great place. Friendly, bars great and food. Overall great friendly club. Golf: This place as you can imagine is on the shorter end. Low Par and mostly shorter holes. Still a good challenge overall, and can hit driver in most cases. Good variety and well maintained course. A bit interesting layout so be sure to know the map as you gotta go weird directions to get to the next hole sometimes. All an all enjoyed this place! Would recommend for those with shorter games.

Got invited for an anniversary party a couple of weekends ago. Great location in that there are lots of free parking available, a major plus! However, getting there could be a trek as all around the whole area, there's a 20 mph speed limit so it's a bit of a crawl to get there. There are two floors for functions, upstairs and downstairs, each can accommodate 40-50 people comfortably and a licenced bar with a selection (on tap or bottles) of ales or lagers. Prices not dissimilar to what you'll normally pay outside in run of the mills pubs. This place also do catering for private functions, of course only cold or finger snacks and sandwiches, pies and sausage rolls etc. The staff working there are friendly and helpful too. I would recommend this place if you were to plan any private functions yourself.

this is a very good course with quite a few challenges (i first played this course over 45 years ago but moved away). there were a few temporary greens in place due to the weather but perfectly playable. my only real complaint about the course is that the members seem to think that the course is there's and they broke the golden golf rule and would not let me play through even though i was behind them from the fifth hole, eventually i had to miss a hole to get in front as they were so slow and holding up play. the staff here were very pleasant and should be commended especially the lady in the clubhouse who explained everything about the course to me perfectly..

Good value for money and in relatively good condition for October, however the course was generally a bit overgrown with sections of some greens unplayable. Some challenging holes but good for all levels of golfer. Better signage needed for where to go and for the closed footbridge.

A golf course with a royal status. Wasn't the longest or the most challenging course that I played so far, but it very well maintained. Has a classic club house that server fantastic food. Probably give higher recommend to the restaurant than the course.šŸ˜… It's a been there done that course, as it's not easily accessible. (Private course)

It's nice to treat yourself to the elegant and stately surroundings for Sunday Lunch. I did feel, however, that it wasn't as good the first time round. The actual roast beef lunch seemed if was of the pre prepared variety that most pub restaurants do. The beef was passable but may have been not freshly carved. The accompanying vegetables were nothing of note. I hope I'm wrong as it's a good venue to eat, albeit a tad on the pricey side, but that's to be expected.

Very interesting and challenging course. A stoneā€™s throw from Eltham Palace. Pro shop manager was very friendly and accommodating. Clubhouse was beautiful, and had a fascinating history. I even got a private tour by the facilities director, which included an incredible golf memorabilia museum! I ate in the bar area and enjoyed delicious food and friendly service. Pick up the book on the history of the club, one of the oldest in England.
