Honestly the best decision we could have made when it came to planning our wedding day! Also both LaToya and Ajay are fantastic and such lovely people to work with. For us, it felt they listened to everything we said, every aspiration and idea and then they made it happen! Planning When we started to think about planning our wedding we were unsure whether we needed a planner, and after speaking to a couple of wedding planners we were put off by limitations some of them imposed, but then we spoke with LaToya. Following our first call with LaToya our minds completed changed. We spoke frankly, we spoke about budgets / expectations and importantly we spoke about what we want our wedding to be like and not what we wanted it to be like. LaToya understood us from the get go and also her energy and enthusiasm is infectious. When meeting Ajay the first time, we saw the balance in his practical thinking, we knew why they work so well as a team. Re-planning We are very grateful for the wedding they created with us, it was beyond our expectations and looked and felt amazing. Their experience in wedding planning shone through when it came to working with suppliers and also the little details of the day - there are far too many examples to give. Even with the pandemic and several iterations of wedding format, guest numbers, restriction requirements, floor planning, etc, LaToya and Ajay kept us calm and more often knew more about what the wedding restriction guidelines meant before others. Partly because how hands on they are in the wedding sector, championing the suppliers in the sector and the bride/grooms. On the day The day ran so smoothly from our perspective, and that of the guests - it was a dream! That was down to SW Events team being so detailed focused and also being so calm on the day (they were probably running around putting out fires in the background, but for everyone involved and our guests it was a stress free event - our guests have commented positively about pretty much every aspect of the day. Ajay, you almost got a variety show, we think the creativity and vision we created for a seated reception was nothing anyone could have expected and it was such a treat for everyone - this is down to both your creativity but also experience with weddings and venues to pull it off. We hired Nomadic Fun Casino hire to provide a roulette wheel and croupier for a Casino Royale themed 18th birthday party and were absolutely delighted with the service. Jimi was extremely responsive and communicative right from the start, the arrangements were seamless, and the guests had an absolute blast. Everyone loved the event and commented how well it had worked. We would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone wanting something similar.

Jimi did a 3 hour poker session for a group of my friends at an Airbnb we had rented. He remembered and learnt everyone's names within about 5 minutes and kept everyone entertained the entire evening.

We hired Camilla to be an ‘on the day co-ordinator’ for our wedding - I needed a right hand woman who I could trust to hand over the reigns and make sure all my planning and preparation came to life the way I imagined. Camilla was there for me throughout the whole wedding process to bounce ideas off, but most importantly, she gave me the confidence to relax on my wedding day (I’m a control freak!) - she was a pleasure to be around, kept everything running smoothly, and made sure any hiccups were dealt with. Camilla planned our wedding from A to Z and it was literally our dream wedding. Her professionalism, dedication, attention to details and hard work are remarkable. She poured her heart into organizing the perfect wedding for us. It felt to me as if she was organizing her own considering the amount of efforts she put into ensuring that everything would be perfect and going the extra mile. On D Day, there was a storm just before the ceremony, everything had to be moved inside suddenly. I was extremely disappointed. But seeing that the meteo cleared out, Camilla went above and beyond and with the help of the hotel staff, arranged for everything to be moved back outside quickly. I was amazing! Throughout the process, Camilla and her assistant Giulia were a calming force. Because of them we were extremely relaxed on wedding day as we knew we were fully taken care of. Do yourself a favor and organize your wedding with Camilla!

Camilla is such a lovely human being and is a star wedding planner! I am SO glad that we decided to get her help with planning the rest of our wedding and coordinating on the day. She had amazing suggestions for additional elements and had great supplier contacts. I'm so glad she arranged for us to have an extra walkthrough at the venue to help visualise everything we would want on the day. She also suggested that my husband walk down the aisle with his mum which was such a beautiful addition to our ceremony. In the weeks leading up to the big day, she had everything completely under control and I felt like I could just focus on the task of getting married and basking in the glow of the day. She is super responsive over WhatsApp, ready to answer any question I threw her way. My only regret is that we didn’t bring Camilla on earlier in the planning process to get her steer on more things!

What can I say except 'We could not have done it without Helen'!! When arranging our wedding ourselves (a garden party on our friends farm) I really needed someone the take charge of the day and Helen did not disappoint. From the beginning she was responsive, helped me find suppliers and provided invaluable advice! The day itself was a dream, EVERYTHING was looked after from decorations, keeping the bar stocked, serving drinks and food and just making sure everything ran smoothly! We had the best day. These guys are amazing! We just had Helen and her team at our wedding last weekend. In the run up Helen was so helpful and we had great communication. On the day, the team were so friendly and so helpful, we couldn’t fault them in the slightest. Everything ran perfectly smoothly, speaking to our guests during and after the wedding, we have had so many compliments saying it was the most well organised wedding they’d been to and that Helen’s crew were so lovely and generally just the best! They worked brilliantly with our caterer, I don’t think you’d know they were actually separate companies. They were happy to put out our snacks during the drinks reception and our evening buffet we had organised the evening before, which meant the whole wedding party could actually relax and enjoy the party. Helen was happy to order in some specific alcohol I knew us and the guests would like to drink. If I was ever planning an event I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone. We hired Helen for our on the day coordinator for our wedding and could not have made a better decision! From the initial site visit, we could tell Helen was competent and experienced from the questions she was asking and she helped us think of things we wouldn't have otherwise. She coordinated all of the glass hire which was so helpful, and also brought lots of things for use at the wedding which helped both logistically and financially, like all of the water jugs for the tables. On the day, Helen and her staff worked extremely hard and followed all my sometimes detailed, sometimes vague, instructions. They did everything from reception drinks, lighting candles, replenishing bottles on tables, cutting and distributing cake, running the evening bar, dealing with toilet emergencies (!), coordinating with the band, and most importantly cleaning up, really well. She even made sure my and my husband's waters were always topped up and we got the cake flavour we wanted! Where she had to take initiative due to vague instructions, she did easily with no fuss, and the whole day ran very smoothly thanks to her. We also had her help for the brunch the next day where she was an absolute godsend, setting up a brunch for 50 people with just one other person. We genuinely would have struggled without her on both days. Our guests also specifically commented on how great the staff were. I highly, highly recommend to any brides (or anyone running an event) looking for help in the lead up or especially on the day of the wedding. I didn't think I needed anyone initially, and I was wrong! Hire Helen!

Natalie saved the day for us when we needed help decorating our reception venue on the wedding day. Even though it was a relatively small task Natalie was more than happy to help us. She was friendly and organised and I’m so happy that we found her!

We cannot say enough good things about Rebecca, not only is she an absolutely fantastic wedding planner, she is a delight to be around! Little did Rebecca know when she took us on in 2019 she would end up planning three weddings for us (!), first the one that didn't happen due to COVID, then a small intimate wedding with a couple of friends during the pandemic, and finally a big celebration this year. Every detail was beautiful, she is so creative, organised, warm and professional. Nothing was too much trouble - she coordinated the most beautiful flowers and venue as well as creative extras like gift bags and a creche for children, coffee and mimosa bars - even luggage tag favours / place-cards. Planning a wedding is very overwhelming, there are so many things to consider. 4YaParty is the only business you should consider for wedding/event decoration and styling. I’m still lost for words and it’s been over a week. The attention to detail, care and consideration that is given is beyond anything I could have imagined. I would highly recommend a thousand times! Mercedes decorated our wedding on the 27th July and did the upmost amazing job ever. The amount of times I changed things leading up to the wedding and she was so patient and understanding. The decor was exactly how I imagined it and had so many compliments from our guests. We already knew we wanted to use 4YaParty for our wedding reception (August 2024), due to them being an eco friendly/sustainable company, before we met Mercedes at a wedding fair. However, Mercedes' friendly and enthusiastic attitude confirmed our choice! Communication, via email, was excellent and viewing the venue with her really helped us to visualise the decorations. The decorations were reasonably priced, especially with a voucher from the wedding fair, and Mercedes even advised we didn't need so many ceiling decorations for the size of the venue - which saved us more money! We managed to catch Mercedes and her team packing up at the end of the evening, to thank them, and were amazed to find out it was her first wedding anniversary!! She really did go above and beyond to make our venue even more beautiful for our wedding day! We highly recommend using 4YaParty!

Although we had already booked most of our suppliers, my partner and I wanted a wedding planner to bring it all together - we felt we lacked the experience and time! We wanted someone who could bring to life a high-end and well thought through aesthetic for the big day - we are quite particular and wanted a very distinctive and unique look (avoiding classic and traditional style). In addition we wanted someone who had wedding experience that we could lean on for guidance and advice - we had two ceremonies in one, which was outside our experience and meant we had distinctive cultures to balance and intertwine. We also wanted a planner who would be able to coordinate and plan the details on a day to day basis, which I was struggling with given my job and personal commitments. We decided to go ahead with Jessica for wedding planning, on the day coordination and take down. We found her online and were really drawn to her portfolio on Instagram, which showed her amazing ability to design and style to a really high and unique standard. When we connected, Jessica provided us a proposal and a moodboard which really excited us and helped us confidently decide to go ahead. We also enjoyed speaking with her at the first call - she is very chilled, friendly and made us feel like calm and in control. I liked her confidence! I also liked how flexible she was in ways of working and was willing to adapt the management style so it worked for us. We started off with a simple colour scheme and Jessica was able to take that and develop it into a far more complex and superior colour palette that was very modern. I would’ve never been able to do this myself - I often second guessed the palette as I found it so complex but Jessica would reassure me and talk me through it and she was 100% right. I am SO GLAD I trusted her. Throughout the process Jessica was very easy to plan with. She was really friendly, approachable and understood what we wanted throughout the process. We had a Whatsapp group, we spoke on email, we used a Google Doc/ share drive to co-ordinate a to-do list. She was always contactable and communicative. I am quite detail orientated and often got bogged down on these bits, Jessica seemed to take it all in her stride and had it under control. She would listen to me, reassure me and action what needed actioning. Being Mauritian (me)/ Martinique (my partner) and having a duel wedding (civil and Hindu ceremony) meant a lot of cultures to factor - Jessica didn’t break a sweat! She easily understood and embraced our cultures, which I really appreciated. She took time to attend calls with the Pundit and understand the Hindu ceremony. She was super flexible in joining meetings and calls with suppliers in general. Finally, on the day it all went amazingly. Jessica and her team were in their element and were so calm and positive on the day. They had it all under control and they didn’t look stressed! We ended up with a successful day and I have Jessica and her team to thank for that. I will say the events of the day was quite behind schedule due to late family members, something I didn’t expect or think about - tip for future brides to watch out for if you have family like mine! I got so many compliments from guests that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. Final note, after the wedding Jessica and her team gifted me and my husband a video reel of the day. This was priceless! It captured so many moments and all the small details that I didn’t get to really take in on the day. Words cannot express how amazing this was to receive! I would absolutely recommend Jessica!!! She will make your dream wedding a genuine reality!

After 3 years of procrastination, we finally decided to plan our wedding in London while living in the US. All we can say is thank goodness for Dita! My partner and I recently got married in London and we hired Dita as our on the day coordinator. Dita made the wedding so much less stressful and she was completely supporting of our quirky ideas and helped us bring them to life.
